Lush The Comforter Bubble Bar Review

This was a product i had heard about in the Lush world, but something i hadnt brought myself, and part of the reason was $12 for something that just goes down the drain after one bath... um no thankyou. Lucky for my, a lush gift pack (i gifted myself) had this in there. Yay for me.

This product is quite pretty. It has a flat bottom but is round in shape.. does that make sense? If not just look at the picture. It swirled with purple and white.

This bubble bar is not just for one bath. I cut mine into four pieces, and use one piece for each bath and let me tell you, one quarter of this bubble bar is more than enough to create a bath of happiness.

For those of you who don't know. This is a bubble bar, which means your crumble the product under running water, which creates the bubbles, so nothing like a bath bomb. So that's what i do. The bath fills up with softly colored lilac bubbles, the water turns a beautiful blackcurrant purple, and the room smells amazing. It smells slightly sweet, but fruity and like berries (I think). Lets just say it smells amazing.

I can not oversell this bubble bar. It is awesome. It works out around $3 a bath, for a bath that packs a punch. Lying in this bath feels amazing. You just feel so happy and relaxed. If you are a newbie to lush, or like your baths, i 100% recommend this product

There is nothing in this world that makes me happier than a gorgeously scented, heavily bubbled bath, well maybe the addition of candles and chocolate, or a basket of puppies. The comforter bubble bar is my happy place, it just embodies everything that bath time relaxation should be.

The large roughly rounded shaped bar comes loose with a spiral effect of the two colours packed together, the white almost shimmering part and then a berry burst of purple pink. Coupled with its heavenly scent of berries, lavender and something musky that just envelopes you even before you use it.

I am a greedy person at bath time and even though you could cut this large bar into half, thirds or even quarters I crumble the whole thing under running warm water to make the water turn a milky soup which atop sits masses of pure white, extra foaming bubbles. The bubble bar even leaves a confetti effect on top of the bubbles with the un-melted parts of the bar sitting in a crumbled state on them. Its a sexy thing to looks at, romantic and warm. I can not help but spend an hour in it, it is one thing in the world that can actually make me breath out, relax and forget everything in this crazy mad world. This is why I have at least 3 or 4 of these stashed in an airtight container for those moments when I am on the brink of madness I can draw my happy place and relax for a while.

Oh my, Lush knew what women want when they created this little slice of heaven! I don't normally go all warm and tingly over bath products but this brightly-coloured bar deserves every bit of praise.

The Comforter Bubble Bar was my first Lush purchase and since that day when I discovered just how comforting it is, has become my most re-purchased bath treat. What the foozle is so amazing about it? Well just look at it! Bright berry pink swirled with creamy white form this oversized bubble bar. I like my bubble baths exploding with mounds of bubbles so normally I break a bar in half to get two uses out of it. For those unfamilliar with the bubble bar concept, you crumble the solid bar under running water, swishing the water about to create bubbly paradise. The berry-coloured water is the picture of romance and is perfect for a bath to share, or a luxurious long soak alone surrounded by the sweet fruity aroma which fills the room.

I have repurchased this bubble bar many times and it's my go-to when I want a really relaxing bath, you can't do better!

When they described this bar as a giant cuddle from a blackcurrant, I was like, pfft whatever. Now I'm like, give me more cuddles! Where are the bubble arms damn it!! This bar is delightful. The pinky/purple and white swirled together is very attractive, and the smell that radiates off of it just sucks you in. Even if you don't have a bath you'd be tempted to buy this!

I break a bit off, and hold my hands under the water to help break and bubble it up. Looking at the bubbles, I know immediately I want more, and before I know it I've used half a bar. But it's worth it. The water tints to match the color of the bubble bar, and the bubbles fluff up around your body, giving you all the fruity cuggles you need.

My skin is left feeling soft, I'm left in a state of euphoria and fiance is also happy cos I'm not in his ear nagging him. Would definitely repurchase!

I'm a sucker for baths with lots and lots of big bubbles this might sound a bit weird but baths aren't baths without loads of bubbles, I love lush bath bombs and if I buy a bath bomb I haven't tried before I won't use bubbles just to see if I like it but anything else I need big bubbles.

This bubble bar is delish. When it arrived I could smell the strong berry smell coming through the box I opened it up and POW the berry scent hit it is the yummiest sweet berry scent, it's not over powering but it is strong.

I halve this bar because this bar is huge, the colour is gorgeous a deep magenta with a white swirl through it, it's so pretty and I didn't really want to use it at first but these things have to be done. I crumble it under the running water and watch as the bubbles start forming and start to take over the bath, the whole time the room is filled with the amazing berry scent. Once I'm finished crumbling it the bubbles have multiplied and fill the whole bath

I lay in the tub of bubbles and relax in the heavy berry scent. The bubbles last for the 30 minutes I soak in the bath this is total bliss and even though I didn't have a bath bomb with the bubble bar I didn't miss the bomb at all I felt this was enough. This is a total love and I will buy it again

I bought this simply because it was so pretty and smelled amazing in the shop. The instructions say to pop the whole thing into your bath under running water, but I broke this into 5 p pieces And my bath was chocka full of bubbles. Did I mention the scent? It is just so beautiful and yummy smelling, being able to relax in a bath full of this is just heaven. I get dermatitis from a lot of bath products, and this did nothing but leave me smelling amazing and my skin smooth and hydrated <3 Definitely would buy again if they have it on my next trip to lush

I recently began shopping at Lush, previously I had gone in there and to be honest it is quite over-whelming never know where to start. Anyway, I had recently moved into a house with a bath so knew I had to make another trip to lush. I spent a while in there sniffing away and the smell over this bubblebar was quite strong and I kept going back to it so I got 3. They are now my bath essential I use 1/2 for one bath and find that its plenty. Put it in while the bath is running to make the bubbles. One thing I really liked about this also is that it doesn't make the floor of the bath slippery which I hate as I have a mini heart attack every time I slip. It leaves the water a really pretty colour and smells amazing but not too strong the smell also lingers on your skin for quite sometime after leaving the bath which is nice. Really love this product.

Lush make the best bath bombs but they also make fantastic bubble bars and this one is my favourite. The bubbles it creates are creamy and fragrant and you don't have to use the whole bar in one bath making it more economical. I did have a play with the amount and found a quarter wasn't enough, so between 1/3 and a 1/2 of the bar is the best amount to use. A highly decadent bubble bath with sweet fruity notes.

There is a lot of wonderful things about this bubble bar. First of all you don’t have to use the whole thing in one bath, unlike a bath bomb you can break this in half to make the most of this treat. Add this to your running bath to create lots of bubbles, purple water and provide a delicious blackcurrant fruity scent throughout your bathroom. It is impossible not to feel amazing after bathing in this goodness. End result – you will feel relaxed, you and your bathroom will smell delicious and your skin will be soft. Happiness in a bar. Go buy it - thank me later.

The Comforter bubble bar is definitely worth its price as you can easily get 3-4 uses out of it. It tints the bath a beautiful pinky-purple and creates piles of sweet, berry scented bubbles. I've found some bubble bars have a lovely scent but are very quickly diluted when added to water, that isn't the case with this one. Sometimes I find some bath additives to be drying on the skin but so far I've not had any issues with this :)
