I first got this on my radar when I was looking through the body lotion section of Lush, as well as getting a small sample to test out. It quickly won me over and I purchased a bottle.
This is a delightfully creamy lotion, obviously thin enough to get out of the bottle easily, but not thick like say, their Celebrate lotion. It shares it's wonderful scent with Lush's perfume Vanillary, as well as a few other things.
I like to use this all over, and I find that it absorbs really well, better than Celebrate, it's about on par with Dream Cream here. It doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy, and it scents me just slightly with it's soft vanilla fragrance, again on par with Dream Cream as it's not in your face, it's just nice, and subtle.
Unfortunately, Lush discontinued this lotion among many other things, and the only place I know you can get it is in the Lush Kitchen. Otherwise, I'd gladly repurchase!
This lotion is actually discontinued now from Lush but I bought a small bottle of it on a facebook lush buy/sell page. I really enjoy vanilla scents and even though it's not something I could easily pick up again if I feel in love, I just really wanted to give it a go.
This comes in a clear bottle, the same as the shower gels. Most lotions from lush are in pot form but I think it is easier to use when you can just squeeze the bottle. This has a black label, again the same as the lush shower gels and it has the best before sticker with a picture of who made it on there.
The lotion is decently thick, it will hold it's shape when I squeeze it out. It rubs into my skin reasonably easily, although sometimes if I use to much it can be a bit hard to absorb. I don't feel sticky after using it and my skin does feel nice and smooth. I don't particulary like the scent. I definitely don't get a lot of vanilla, it smells maybe a little woody to me? I'm really not sure how to describe the scent, it's pretty light too. I don't find it overpowering. Just before I started using this, I was using a dove vanilla lotion and I loved the strong scent of vanilla from that so I guess I was hoping for the same here. I know that lush is full of good ingredients but I wouldn't purchase this again even if it wasn't discontinued. Lush is expensive and I'd rather buy something I love the whole way.
