I love Christmas and the delish limited edition products and this is no exception.
The toffee coloured soap feels quite soft, one side of the soap has a brown dusting covering the soap but this washed away when I first used it.
Now many (many) moons ago Christmas was all about lolly scrambles with Mackintosh toffees, my favourite ever was the orange one egg and cream, this soap smells exactly like that lolly, I just wanted to eat it. At least it probably wouldn't break my teeth. It also has like a very subtle nutmeg note in the background but I couldn't see it on the ingredient list.
This soap is so creamy and rich you can almost feel your skin being moisturised at the same time as washing. This lathers up slightly and the cream and egg toffee scent fills the bathroom. I'm left with silky soft skin but unfortunately the scent doesn't linger on my skin.
Being the softer, creamier type of soap you have to treat it with care, letting it dry on a rack without water touching it or it will turn into gloop. This soap is such a treat and most certainly reminds me of Christmas.
You can definitely smell this soap when you walk into a LUSH store. It's a delicious rich toffee scent. I bought a few last Christmas, and it's again available and I've re purchased.
It's a light caramel coloured soap, the imprint on top is dusted with a brown powder. The soap is very creamy and rich. It lathers up well and the shower is beautifully scented like a chocolatey/coffee ice cream. I'm sort of shocked that the description above says cloves and nutmeg as I have to really sniff to get this- total toffee scent for me. I don't find the scent lasts a long time on skin so it doesn't mix with your regular perfume. The soap is quite soft, it doesn't last very long. I only buy about 100g size bars, and they last about 5-7 days before they get too soggy and disintegrate.
It's definitely an expensive soap, but the scent definitely oozes luxury.
Tips: I like to buy a few and store them in my drawers to make them smell beautiful.
