I was quite excited to trial out this cleanser tool but I do feel a little bit let down. The main thing that I'm let down about is that mine isn't heating up and if it is, it doesn't feel like it. Secondly, it's sooooo loud! Embarrassingly loud. Everyone in my household thought I was using another battery operating device of a similar sound (I'm talking about you, SP2!) I do like the softness of the bristles and it feels nice on my skin and I like that I can use it in the shower so I will use it again but I think a quieter version would be better

Manicare Salon Thermal Sonic Cleanser
Introducing the Manicare Salon Thermal Sonic Cleanser, the next generation of facial cleansing for a healthy and glowing complexion!
This rechargeable silicone facial cleansing brush is small but incredibly mighty. It’s powered by sonic pulsation to instantly remove impurities and the optional heating element that heats up to 40⁰C for a deeper clean. The sonic pulsation cleans deep within your pores, removing make-up and loosening dirt and oil much better than just using your hands. Not only does this give your skin a deeper clean, it also allows for your skincare to absorb more effectively.
The ultra-soft silicone brush tips are non-porous, which means they dry much faster than traditional bristles, so they’re more hygienic while being gentle on the skin. This brush will last for the device’s lifetime, so you don’t need to replace the brush head at all! The Manicare Salon Thermal Sonic Cleanser is also 100% waterproof, making it safe to use in the shower or over the vanity.
Application: moisten > glide > rinse.
Using this device is easy in 3 simple steps. First, moisten your skin; apply your favourite cleanser directly onto the bristles and press the power button for 3 seconds, followed by the warming button if you want this option. Gently glide the Manicare® Salon Thermal Sonic Cleanser over your face in circular motions, then thoroughly rinse and pat dry.
All it takes is one minute twice daily to quickly reveal a clearer, brighter, and healthier-looking complexion. Are you ready to revolutionise your cleansing regime?

Tips: Inform household members that you are in fact using a facial cleansing device prior to use to avoid unnecessary embarrassment.
After using various electric face brushes I was sceptical as this one doesn't have fibre bristles. However after the first use I was blown away after a fiddly setup, let me break it down.
Theres no instructions so it took me a few goes to get it right. First you have to charge it for 3 hours, and you have to have your own wall plug that takes a USB A port (luckily I have lots of these). Theres also no light to say its charging so you just have to hope you put it on the charging pad correctly.
After 3 hours I took it off. The on button you hold down on the side until the light on the underside is green. Then if you want the heating setting you hold the wavey icon button beside it down until the underside light is red. This means its heating up. Then you add cleanser and water directly to the top.
After the setup I started using circular motions over my face. It starts off feeling a little wrong and dry but the cleanser quickly lathers up into a thing layer. Then it starts to feel great and the heating setting has heated up. I used circular motions all over my face for about 1 minute (the nose was a little hard to get around as its a little bulky). As I washed the cleanser off my face I instantly felt the difference. It felt like I had had a really deep clean and it had taken off the dead layers of skin. It kinda felt like after dermablading. It felt so smooth and clean I couldnt believe it.
After using and drying my face I could see the difference, my skin had a really smooth texture and was shiny. I think because the bristle are silicon it creates more friction on the skin which means it gets more off it and smooths it out, almost like a nail buffer.
After applying moisturiser my skin looks and feels clean.
Also the battery lasts for up to 3 months of 1 minute uses which is great too.
To turn it off hold down the power button until the light on the bottom turns off.
Tips: Be sure to read my instructions as it doesn't come with any!
I thought this was a pretty good foreo dupe considering this is the third skincare tool like this that I have used. The foreo is like $300 so it would say it’s pretty comparable.. It’s gentle, nothing like that Clarisonic thing people used to love. It leaves your skin very smooth and fresh. It is easy to use, compact and waterproof. Silicone bristles are pretty good as they are hygienic and won’t hold onto bacteria or anything like that. I would recommend if you don’t want to splurge on foreo.
I've always wanted to try a sonic cleanser, so when I got the opportunity to review this, I jumped at it.
I charged it up for a couple of hours as per the instructions, then gave it a go.
The instructions said to wet the face thoroughly and apply cleanser to the bristle head of the device. Initially I had to push the on button quite hard to switch it on, but eventually I got it going.
I gently pressed it against my skin to start with and over the next few days was able to apply a bit more pressure. I moved the device in small circles over my face, making sure not to linger too long on any one spot. Getting around the nose was a little bit tricky.
As time went by I found I was able to push the speed button up to get a much better cleanser, but if you have sensitive skin, I would advise you to start on a lower setting. As for the thermal heating setting, I didn't really notice any difference for how the device felt on my skin. Plus the thermal button required a decent press to activate.
Results: After trying the device consistently for a week, I noticed my skin felt softer and cleaner. Plus my moisturizer went in a bit faster. This was one thing I didn't expect. It has good cleansing properties.
Overall, I got good results from the device and definitely think it is worth a try. The main minus was the power button was small, and hard to switch on. This frustrated me a bit. I also felt the heat setting wasn't that useful.
Tips: Start on a lower speed and don't press it too hard against your skin.
It arrived in a cute purple colour box and once opened I tried looking for the directions booklet but there was none. You can read down the side of the box but then I googled it. I did then charge it a bit, but confusing as not sure which way to charge it (up side M symbol or underneath the soft bristles part). Also the ON button was not that visible and to turn it on, you need to really push down your finger to get it started. I placed some cleanser on it with a little bit of water, then once turned on it's got quite a powerful vibration. It was felt nice and soft against my skin. Then once done, I washed off the cleanser and patted dry. I then placed my moisturizer on and have to say my face felt really nice and smooth. I never used the warming option but overall it worked well. I don't know if I would go out and buy one but it was a different option then the usual facials.
Tips: None
This is a really cute and easy tool to add to your daily routine. I love that I can use it in the shower with no added fuss and no extra time required. Simply apply your cleanser to skin and turn on this little beauty and away you go. I used small circular movements all over my face for roughly 2 minutes. It definitely left my skin feeling lovely and smooth and prepped perfectly to drink my serums up for max benefit. I usually use a high percentage glycolic cleanser so for the last two weeks while first trialing this product I have dropped that and am using a lovely gentle Cream Cleanser (Andalou Probiotic) with this tool and my skin is just as fresh, but feels even more clean and glowy without using acid based products which happily surprised me.
Tips: I suggest using a gentle Cream Cleanser and don't press too hard on your temples and forehead.
I was super excited to try out the manicure sonic cleanser. It is easy to use and gentle on the skin. It lathers up well and left my skin feeling well cleansed after use. I found that my acne had improved since I’ve started using this device. Would definitely recommend.
Packaging is cute and the 3 step instructions seemed easy enough - I missed the 'press power for 3 seconds' part though! Lol I happened upon a feature that wasn't listed anywhere on the packaging..there are different intensities of sonic vibrations! Once you start it up press the button again to increase vibration. The unit itself sits snug in the hand and is easy to maneuver in circular motions over your face, it is however difficult to get into the creases around your nose and eyes because of its shape. For the very first use I decided to go whole hog and use my Dermalogica thermal skin polish and the combination did not disappoint..My skin felt smooth and taut and I absolutely love that feeling! Over the next few days I used it with different products, with and without the warming feature, in and out of the shower and sometimes just with water. My preference was definitely with product and my cream cleanser was one that worked really well with it. Loved using it in the shower! The warming feature needs time to heat up which isnt ideal as Im impatient- but worked around it by switching it on and leaving it while I brushed my teeth. I preferred to just use it as is most of the time as I didnt feel much difference with the warming feature. Overall I liked it and did a good job of cleansing my skin.
Tips: Once the green cleanser light comes on push the power button again to intensify the vibration.
This was the first time I have used an electric cleansing brush. I have always been curious about the foreo Luna electric cleanser so I was keen to see what this one was like. I have been using this electric cleanser for about one week and normally use it at night while in the shower. Overall I have not noticed a lot of difference to my skin since using the cleansing brush. I normally just use my fingers to cleanse my face, with no other tools. I have combination oily skin and have been using this with a foaming cleanser. My skin felt fresh and clean afterwards, but also not any different to cleansing without this brush.
The cleansing brush is very compact. It fits nicely into the palm of your hand and is nice and easy to hold. The silicone brush is gentle on your skin when used with plenty of cleanser. I tried using it with just plain water and felt that it was harsh on my skin. When used with cleanser the brush wasn’t harsh and my skin didn’t feel like it was stripped of its natural oils.
This brush has a heating function that heats to 40 deg Celsius. However when using it in the shower I didn’t notice or feel the heat. Maybe this was because I could already feel the heat of the water from the shower.
One thing that I also noticed that was that I had to use a lot more cleanser than normal in order to get the cleanser foaming. I had to use double or triple the amount of cleanser that I normally use.
Overall I didn’t notice a lot of different results with using this cleansing brush. However I will continue to use it for longer to see if there are long term results.
This is seriously one of the best skincare products I have used, such a great little tool for cleansing the face! Firstly the packaging is nice and its easy to follow the instructions on how to use it. Remove from packaging and charge for 3 hours before use on the cute little device that it sits on to charge it with. I love that I don't have to buy batteries for it and it lasts up to 3 hours of usage. The Thermal sonic cleanser has 3 vibrating settings and a warming setting aswell. You just wet your face and add some cleanser onto the cleansing brush then glide onto your face in circular motions. It feels like its really giving my face a deep clean and leaves it fresh. I recommend this product its such a cool idea for cleaning the face and I use it every day now.
