Manicare Salon Thermal Sonic Cleanser

I've tried cleansing brushes before, and while I generally find them great, to be honest I eventually just sort of forget to use them. Either the brush head needs replacing, or the batteries need changing/charging and out of the bathroom it comes; ne'er to return.

I think this might be different. One it's wireless charging. You just sit it atop your charging pad. No leads to find or fiddle with, just pop it down and pick it up. There are also no replacement heads to worry about, this is a long term product.

I love the feel of the silicone bristles, they're less scratchy than plastic brush heads. In fact the whole unit feels lovely to hold, it fits snugly in my small hands.

I like the ease of buttons and it lights up to let you know its turned on and if the warmer is on.

There are a few different vibrations that you can cycle through by pushing the power button - I don't think there's much difference between them, but it might be nice for some. The vibration feels effective on the face.

I don't really see the point of the warmer as I use this in a warm shower with my usual cleanser.

I have noticed this is incredibly effective at cleansing - my skin is very clean with less cleanser being used. I also think it's great at exfoliating the skin in a really gentle way.

I absolutely love it - and would definitely recommend.

I have been using their brush sonic cleanser and I too brought the alternative silicone head for that but this is nice to have all in one as I like the washable silicone brushes vs the other version.

It’s so easy to clean it! Huge +. I don’t have to replace anything on it which is makes it more handy and affordable.

It cleans so well and I feel like it exfoliates at the same time but is quite gentle. My skin felt soft afterwards.

Also I feel like it massages my skin which is again much needed.

I used the heat setting once and probably won’t again. I just don’t need a heat setting unless maybe to warm up something really cold I would be applying or maybe for cleansing my neck but for my face I am happy to use as is.

I was a little sceptic with this little gadget, but after using it a few times, my skin feels amazing, so easy to use and fits perfect in your bag, handy size. Recommend it beauties x

Firstly i was impressed by the look of the product. Very beautiful colour and gorgeous wee charging station. I used this in my facial cleansing regime in morning in shower and night time. I found it was very gentle with the bristles and did clean the impurities oit more than a flannel would. It was quite smoothing and skin felt smooth and soft afterwards. The heating setting didnt do much for me really in the shower and was hard to get between nose and cheek but changing angle helped. Overall i absolutely loved this product and will recommend to friends.

Over the years, I've tried many facial cleansing brushes - ranging from manual silicone ones you find at Kmart, to the rotating brushes which tend to be a little harsh for my skin, so I was excited to be given the opportunity to trial this product. I'm not sure about everyone else, but having to wear a mask all day in my workplace has really taken a toll on my skin. I also wear makeup daily, and often fear I have not entirely washed it off simply by using micellar water and face wash.

Firstly, I love the charger for this device! It's a wee wireless one which the device simply nests in. So easy, and no worries about water entering charging ports as it is entirely waterproof. I found that the lowest setting on the brush felt effective enough to clean my skin, and while the heated aspect was nice it is probably something I'll use more in the winter. I've noticed my skin has cleared up a bit also, probably as a result of being able to get a deeper clean to remove my makeup and other contaminants from throughout the day.

Overall, I am impressed by this product! It's not something I'd typically seek to go out and buy, as I was not overly impressed by past cleansing brushes I have bought. But this one suits my needs, is convenient and robust, so I will be using it for a long time!

Pros: - Compact, and dries quickly, so easy to take with you over night. - SO easy to charge - Holds charge well - Minimal controls, so easy to turn on and use. - Really effective at cleansing, with or without cleanser! - Offers gentle exfoliation - No need to buy replacement brushes

Cons: - The heat can actually feel a bit too hot if you hold it to your skin for too long - It doesn't agitate the cleanser as much as a brush - A bit of an investment money-wise. - Seems to take longer than the good old flannel

All up I really enjoyed this trial product - I do think it is an effective cleanser and my skin does feel different from my usual face cloth and cleanser routine.

I've always wanted to try a sonic cleanser, so when I got the opportunity to review this, I jumped at it.

I charged it up for a couple of hours as per the instructions, then gave it a go.

The instructions said to wet the face thoroughly and apply cleanser to the bristle head of the device. Initially I had to push the on button quite hard to switch it on, but eventually I got it going.

I gently pressed it against my skin to start with and over the next few days was able to apply a bit more pressure. I moved the device in small circles over my face, making sure not to linger too long on any one spot. Getting around the nose was a little bit tricky.

As time went by I found I was able to push the speed button up to get a much better cleanser, but if you have sensitive skin, I would advise you to start on a lower setting. As for the thermal heating setting, I didn't really notice any difference for how the device felt on my skin. Plus the thermal button required a decent press to activate.

Results: After trying the device consistently for a week, I noticed my skin felt softer and cleaner. Plus my moisturizer went in a bit faster. This was one thing I didn't expect. It has good cleansing properties.

Overall, I got good results from the device and definitely think it is worth a try. The main minus was the power button was small, and hard to switch on. This frustrated me a bit. I also felt the heat setting wasn't that useful.

This is a really cute and easy tool to add to your daily routine. I love that I can use it in the shower with no added fuss and no extra time required. Simply apply your cleanser to skin and turn on this little beauty and away you go. I used small circular movements all over my face for roughly 2 minutes. It definitely left my skin feeling lovely and smooth and prepped perfectly to drink my serums up for max benefit. I usually use a high percentage glycolic cleanser so for the last two weeks while first trialing this product I have dropped that and am using a lovely gentle Cream Cleanser (Andalou Probiotic) with this tool and my skin is just as fresh, but feels even more clean and glowy without using acid based products which happily surprised me.
