I got a 29ml bottle of this in the anti-aging set. I'd tried a mist and an eye cream from the brand which I quite liked. I was keen to try more as it is a really affordable brand and now easily available at Mecca.
I did not like this as a moisturiser. Whilst it feels ok going on, it sits heavily on my skin and does not absorb. Despite only being SP15, it smells and feels more like a standard sunscreen than a facial moisturiser. I also had a few spots whilst using this which I don't usually get so I am blaming this. I've since discovered my HG sunscreen (Mecca's To Save Face) which also feels like a lovely moisturiser so I've giving up on this. Im trying to use it up on my arms and even then I don't care for it.
Sadly, I haven't been impressed with any of the products that were in the set I bought and it's put me off using anything else from the brand.
I received this in the Mario Badescu Anti-Ageing regimen kit which included a few deluxe sized items to get an idea of and feel for the brand.
This moisturiser is good for combination & sensitive skin (as per packaging). I have dry skin. There were some days where the moisturiser was too heavy for my skin (particularly on warmer days) and then on cooler days it didn't seem to be enough so I've had to apply a facial oil as well. The product absorbs quite quickly so I prefer to dab dots all over my face making it easier to spread without using too much product. There is no unusual scent with this particular product from the regimen kit - it smells just like standard sunscreen.
The packaging is a tad annoying for me - it comes out of a little "stick" (only way I can think of to describe it) that you pull up on top of the lid. Numerous times the product has dried up a little bit inside the "stick" making it frustrating to squeeze product out the next time.
I wouldn't reach for this product again - the first two weeks of using it my skin broke out in acne (which I haven't had happen for a good few years). It could be that my skin has gotten use to using natural products - this seems to be full of ingredients I've never heard of. Other than the acne, I haven't seen any difference to my skin.
