Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater Review

I've had this spray sitting in the drawer after receiving it for Christmas last year. I was recently reading about keeping some moisture on your face before applying a moisturiser containing hyaluronic acid. Omg! What a game changer! A couple of sprays of this refreshing mist before applying moisturiser leaves my face dewy and feeling refreshed all day. It's also great for a refresher for make up during the day. It smells lovely and it feels like a real treat for the skin whilst still not costing the earth.

I have seen a lot of people saying this is bad for your skin etc but it worked for me. I used it as a pick me up for my skin throughout the day and it never failed to leave my skin hydrated and healthy. I have light acne and this product never broke me out. It is so affordable for how much you get. Would reccommend.

I purchased this at Mecca Maxima in Melbourne, at $14 it's a bargain! It's in a pump spray bottle that works well. It's a pale peach colored product with a water consistency. It has a subtle rose scent.

I use it all the time, on bare skin, on freshly applied make up, on hours old makeup. It's so multi purpose. It is a great, hydrating spritz for hot or dehydrating conditions. I use it as a setting spray and soften face powder. It's also great later on in the day to refresh your makeup and even when your hair can use a little freshen up ( it smells nice). this is just one of a few Mario Badescu products I've tried lately, I haven't been disappointed by any yet. Definitely recommend this one.

I purchased the 8 fl oz bottle thinking that I would go through in fast, but it actually lasts a decent amount of time.

THE PRODUCT: It claims to be for "All skin types" which I foind great because most of the time alot of brands tend to make either a product aimed at dry skin or oily skin types so to have this facial spray so universal is great. I used this to refresh my skin when needed, before I apply my foundation, after I have finished using powders I will spray it to settle the powders into my skin and I also use it to intensify my eye pigments. I find it works great for all of these uses. But I am not one who likes alot a scent to my products and I can sometimes find this to be a little to strong so that is my only downfall with this facial spray.

THE PACKAGING: It comes in this frosted plastic bottlewith a screw on nozzle spray that has a clear removable lid. The spray nozzle itself is good it gives an even amount of product without heavy droplets that some sprays tend to do. The labelling is clear and well printed.

Added this to my skincare routine and my skin never felt better. It even works well in the summer for cooling down.

When I first used this spray, I wasn't sold. It seemed kind of pointless. My views have since changed though. I found a specific use for it, and now we're friends.

When I get out of the shower and dry my face, it feels quite dry and dehydrated. I spritz this on and let it dry, and it feels so much more refreshed and soft.

Afterwards I apply a light layer of moisturiser on my face (shout out to Mario Badescu Hyaluronic Day Cream!) which absorbs while I dry my hair.

I got this a couple months ago off of Mecca, and fell in love. I didn’t realise how good rose water and aloe is for the skin. It really soothes and is perfect after you take your makeup off. Although it is great, it is quite easy to make yourself. So in future I’ll be getting my own rose water and aloe vera, and making the toner myself. I’ll also be adding witch hazel and other great ingredients! I throughly recommend making this toner at home. So cheap and natural!
