Mario Badescu Glycolic Foaming Cleanser Review

I bought a Mario Badescu anti aging set and this was the cleanser supplied. I have been using it for about 3 weeks, about 3 times a week. In that time I have still had some spots but they seem to come and go much quicker using this.

This clear, yellow gel foams well and not much product is needed to get results. The lid has a handy pop up spout which is very convenient and easy to use. I remove makeup first with a micellar water ( I think it's pointless and wasteful to use this cleanser to remove makeup as its purpose is to treat your skin) I apply this to a damp face and rub until a nice foam has formed, avoiding eye area. I rinse well and follow with a Mario Badescu toner, moisturiser and eye cream.

My skin seems much smoother and refined after using this cleanser. I will definitely repurchase this one.

I am in love with this product. I initially recieved a trial size that lasted months, so the bigger size will last for quite some time. It tingled on its first use, but after that was really refreshing. I alternate between this and an exfoliator once a fay followed by toner and moisturizer and my skin looks and feels amazing. I'm introducing other products gradually to improve my glow.

My face always feels very clean after using this. I like to use it as my second cleanse after a balm or other oil based cleanser. I use it only a couple of times a week as it is an acid cleanser and I have dry skin. It hasn't dried my skin, but I think if I used it more often it would. My face has become brighter and smoother from using this. An affordable product, (especially as you only need a pea sized amount), I would recommend it.

My only thing with this product is that for the price although not expensive there could be more product and it could have been an all over face and body wash because the feel of the cleanser is great, you very much feel clean, takes a minute to foam but the results are great

Bought it as part of an Anti-Ageing Regimen kit. I find this not as strong as a previous Glycolic Acid cleanser which I have to say I liked more. This cleanser however clean ny skin and after a week of using it I can dedinitely see a difference and does not dry out my skin too much. It has a nice clean smell and you really only need a little as a little goes a long way. I use this as my every day cleanser and in the first week I have found though that it did cause a little break out, but that cleared up and I found that the discolouration spots on my skin are lighter end my skin smoother and brighter for sure

I received a small bottle of this cleanser as part of a Mecca Beauty Loop box. I'm a fan of other products by Mario Badescu, and I've recently been getting into more AHA/Glycolic products, so I was excited to try this out. I find Mario Badescu to be affordable compared to other high end brands. I'm not much of a cleanser person (even though I probably should be!) so I like that it recommends that you only use it 2-3 times a week.

It is mildly scented and foams nicely. It feels very soft and gentle on my face and post use, my complexion does look more even and bright. I find that it if I have any dry flaky skin on my face, it doesn't really get rid of it, so I tend to alternate using this with using a fine gritty scrub like Goldfaden MD's Doctors Scrub.
