I got a small bottle of this glycolic cleanser to try from Mecca. This really thick, clear yellowish cleanser foams up and lathers really well onto the face. A little really goes a long way. The scent is one of those typical clean gel scents that either you like or you don’t.
I guess from the amount of make up we apply onto our skin everyday.. it would be difficult to remove all the residue completely. So this product would be quite useful in this case.
My skin wasn’t stripped off that badly afterwards. My face felt clean and purified with a touch of softness. But due to my dry skin, i think using it once a week would be enough so my face won’t dry out too much, especially the tip of my nose which can get a bit pink and flaky.
A little goes a way, so this bottle would probably stay in my bathroom cabinet and last for years. hahahahaha =D.
Overall, this product didn’t really appeal to me. Those with oily skin would probably enjoy this more.
I got a 59ml bottle of this in the anti-aging set. I'd tried a mist and an eye cream from the brand which I quite liked. I was keen to try more as it is a really affordable brand and now easily available at Mecca.
I did not like this at all! It left my skin with the dreaded squeaky clean feeling, followed my tightness and and almost burning sensation until I moisturise. I have found out since purchasing this that for me it means there is sodium laurel sulphate (SLS) in the product which my skin hates! Looking at the inci list, the first ingredient in this cleanser is not even water but SLS! So it's a big NOPE from me. This is one product that I didn't try to finish off and I wouldn't even pass this on to someone else.
Sadly, I haven't been impressed with any of the products that were in the set I bought and it's put me off using anything else from the brand.
