I purchased this cleanser to help my acne prone skin and to help improve the texture of my skin. For those who haven't dabbled in chemical exfoliation this is a great gentle way in which to do it. Unlike using a glycolic serum which stays on the skin this cleanser is only on your skin for a short amount of time thereby being less likely to cause irritation if you are new to actives. Likewise because its not staying on your skin you are not going to see the same benefits as having a higher concentration glycolic acid serum left on your skin as part of your skincare routine. For this reason I probably wouldn't repurchase given that I'm used to actives and my skin can tolerate a more aggressive chemical exfoliation.

Tips: Let it sit on your skin for a minute or so while cleansing to help it do it's thing. By all means keep this out of your eyes (I speak from experience, ouch!)
I think this product is definitely worth a try as all skin types are different. I was using it 2 - 3 times a week but found it dried my skin out so cut back to once a week but still my skin remained dry so it isn’t suitable for me, I’ll be returning to my facial scrub. It’s value for money being a good size bottle and a little goes along way so it’ll last for months. It foams well but you need to be careful to keep it away from your eyes.
I got a small bottle of this glycolic cleanser to try from Mecca. This really thick, clear yellowish cleanser foams up and lathers really well onto the face. A little really goes a long way. The scent is one of those typical clean gel scents that either you like or you don’t.
I guess from the amount of make up we apply onto our skin everyday.. it would be difficult to remove all the residue completely. So this product would be quite useful in this case.
My skin wasn’t stripped off that badly afterwards. My face felt clean and purified with a touch of softness. But due to my dry skin, i think using it once a week would be enough so my face won’t dry out too much, especially the tip of my nose which can get a bit pink and flaky.
A little goes a way, so this bottle would probably stay in my bathroom cabinet and last for years. hahahahaha =D.
Overall, this product didn’t really appeal to me. Those with oily skin would probably enjoy this more.
I tried and used a full bottle of the glycolic cleanser to try and help my persistent black heads and it worked! But it left my skin feeling quite tight and sensitive (more so than normal) so after I finished the bottle, I never repurchased. I think if you have pretty robust skin, then this would be amazing for you! Just not a product for my skin type
I got a 59ml bottle of this in the anti-aging set. I'd tried a mist and an eye cream from the brand which I quite liked. I was keen to try more as it is a really affordable brand and now easily available at Mecca.
I did not like this at all! It left my skin with the dreaded squeaky clean feeling, followed my tightness and and almost burning sensation until I moisturise. I have found out since purchasing this that for me it means there is sodium laurel sulphate (SLS) in the product which my skin hates! Looking at the inci list, the first ingredient in this cleanser is not even water but SLS! So it's a big NOPE from me. This is one product that I didn't try to finish off and I wouldn't even pass this on to someone else.
Sadly, I haven't been impressed with any of the products that were in the set I bought and it's put me off using anything else from the brand.
Foams up nicely, has a nice subtle scent to it. Makes my skin feel really clean afterwards, but not something that should be used daily, it’s quite strong methinks; like exfoliation.
Tips: Don’t get it in your eyes, ouch!
