This is a great handbag lipbalm. I have the berry one. they taste and smell nice :) and i love that it just adds a hint of colour to your lips. i got given it as a gift but not sure i would purchase as they are a bit on the expensive side for just a lip balm. but because i have one i defiantly use it alot! Although don't think it last 8hours.

Not sure what the hype is about. Maybe it's just me personally, but when I apply this, it gives my lips a bit of a tingling sensation. My lips are not sensitive and I'm not allergic to anything so not sure why this happened. Other than that, the lip balm was ok, does it's job like any other lip balm.
To me I feel that all Maybelline Baby lips is is hype. The product claims to 'moisturise your lips' and the product does do this at first but I find that after a few days of using it it begins to dry out your lips. Don't get me wrong, I love the packaging of this product and the smell but that's really the only positive thing's about this product. I love Maybelline make-up but this product is a bit of a let down!!
Despite claims otherwise, I found that Maybelline Baby Lips was very much a 'basic lip balm'. The packaging is very colourful and cute, well-suited to the name, and it comes in a standard lip balm wind up tube with cap. I found the product however was very basic. While it did moisturize my lips, similar to chap stick, this did wear off fairly quickly and I found I had to reapply quite frequently so it definately did not last 8 hours. Overall, this product was not for me as I felt there was so many other alternatives at similar prices for much better value. I'd rather pay a little more for my Lucas' Paw Paw myself.
I have tried a few baby lips in the past year.. none of them have really moisturised my lips for long. My lips are only moisturised for a few hours and then it goes back to looking chapped. The only good thing I like about them is that they have a great scent and tint.
Tips: Reapply numerous times throughout the day to keep your lips moisturised.
I felt like these didn't hydrate my lips at all, just made them look like it while the balm was on, but they do smell great. The tinted ones do give a nice colour, but for a lip balm it just doesn't do what it says. Unfortunately I won't be buying these again unless it's a lip balm emergency.
I bought the Cherry one, purely cos I loved the packaging and it was well priced. It smells amazing! Unfortunately, I found it to be really greasy feeling on my lips and my lips felt even more dry after it had worn off. Nowhere near the 8hrs it is advertised, more like 20mins. I wouldn't purchase it again for myself.
Tips: They quite often go on sale at Countdown
I've used these lip balms for a while so they're okay, but I've noticed that they don't really do what they say they're going to do. You need to be careful not to apply the tinted ones to your skin around your lips otherwise you'll look like you have windburn. You need to use them again and again during the day but they go clumpy if you put on too much.
I tried this lip balm after seeing it in countdown on sale on day. my friends all have it so it had to be amazing... I was let down majorly! my lips were not that bad but im positive it made them worse. it did not help one bit and I found it very soft so it looked liked id raped it
Tips: I much prefer to use miki lip balms from postie plus. 2 for $6! bargain and amazing
These lip balm sticks are really good but I think a little expensive. I would probably get a cheaper one next time with more natural ingredients just my opinion. They are good for your lips not drying and smell very good and fruity !
