Maybelline Baby Lips Review

Went to visit my family for dinner and at the last minute grabbed my purse and there was no lip balm in it, so I borrowed my sister's, one in berry antioxidant. The thing that stood out to me was the lovely strawberry scent. Went on smoothly and moisturized like lip balms should however I don't think it moisturized my lips for eight hours.

Baby Lips are super cute! I love it when im trying to go for a more natural look, but i do find with some of them it feels like they burn a tad.

I do love the light pink one that is my fav! The other ones i have given to my niece. They have really neat packaging, and if your so onto it, you can match the colour of your Baby Lips with your outfit.

I don't make this a regular purchase if a new one comes out.

I was given the Mango Pie flavour by a friend and I used it for over a month in winter hoping it would help my chapped, dry lips. I really want to love it because the packaging is so cute but I just can't.

I'm not a fan of the texture on my lips - it seems to just sit on the surface rather than actually moisturising and soothing my skin. It does stay put for quite a while and the flavour is nice but not worth it for the end result - I just can't stand the way it creates a slippery film and does nothing particularly beneficial. I've stuck to my usual Blistex lip balms as they take much better care of my lips!

On the plus side the Baby Lips are a good price!

I'm torn with this product!

PROS: Smells delicious - I have a few different flavours and love applying them simply because they smell adorable. Readily available - easy to pick up with the groceries. Great price - needs no explanation really. Creamy texture - feel amazing on the lips.

CONS: Lasting power - definitely doesn't stay put for eight hours, note even close. Probably about half an hour to an hour. Moisturisation - Although it feels amazing when applying, the product does just sit on top of the lips (like another reviewer mentioned) and doesn't sink in at all.

IN CONCLUSION TO MY NOVEL: I probably would buy again because I am a sucker for things that smell nice, but I wouldn't buy it for lip care, more just for something fun that gives me a little pick-me-up.

I brought one because I needed a new lip balm, but was a little disappointed to find that I was needing to apply it three times as much as I would with any other lip balm. Really disappointed to be honest. It smells good, and tastes nice. But the overall effect is not long lasting

So these have been around for forever and i noticed they were on special at the supermarket and thought i would give it a try since my lips have been super dry lately. I just got the plain berry smelling one. It smells super yummy and i was excited about using it. After using for a day my lips are not that much softer. With a name like baby lips you would think it would leave you feeling super soft and hydrating you lips. I got the opposite effect. I still use because i like the smell.

These lip balms are nothing amazing. If you can buy them on special then I would consider purchasing it again, just as a lip balm to keep in my handbag or car, but I wouldn't purchase it full price. They smell nice, but I found the ones that say they have a lip tint, didn't tint my lips at all.

I think these are quite overrated to be honest. There are far better lipbalms out there that are just as affordable. They do moisturise the lips but not to a point where i'd use it again. Your lips feel really soft for about 5 minutes and then they go back to the way they were before. I probably wouldn't recommend these.

I have tried a number of different flavours of Baby Lips and I've never been overly impressed. They moisturise your lips instantly but it doesn't last. There are many better lip balms out there.
