Although your lips feel moisturised and soft after the initial use, I found it didnt leave my lips soft for 8 hours like it is meant to, smells nice though and leaves a subtle taste on your lips and the packaging/label is cute. I would probably not use this again

I picked these up at the checkout - the packaging is cute, the advertising makes them look amazing and everyone seems to have one, so I figured for four bucks what have you got to lose? Well $4 to be precise.
Don't get me wrong - it's not the worst lip balm in the world, but when something has been hyped up there's a long way to fall. And if they do, it's a bigger splat.
I picked up the menthol, it smells ok, nothing spectacular. It's the same texture as any stick lipbalm (with the exception of Hurraw!) and I've noticed it doesn't handle the cold well, it goes almost bitty after a night in the car.
I think the biggest factor is simply, it doesn't hydrate, moisturise or soften your lips. Which is kind of the point of a lip balm. Oh initially you get a smooth film of product over your mouth, but that soon disappears if you so much a utter 1 sentence, and that's that. Time to reapply.
So to sum up - it's the David Beckham of lip balm. Looks nice, lots of women like him, but really there's not much going on.
I purchased two of these when they were talked about alot when they first came out.
The pink and blue flavour and the yellow and pink flavour were the two i purchased. i personally didn't like the yellow and pink one as much as the pink and blue one. Think it could of been the smell and taste of it.
I didn't think they were as hydrating as they made out, whether this was because I wasn't as consistent with it as I should of been...but I do note, I have very dry cracked lips (especially in the Winter months).
What drew me to this balm was the cute packaging and the well-priced product, they are adorable and are a great little "shopping trip extra" to chuck in your trolley.
I will finish the products that i have purchased, but unsure whether I would purchase again, as other products worked better for my "super-dry lips".
Maybelline baby lips have become very popular lately. With 8 great smelling balms, who wouldn't want to give them a try? I loved the smell of them all, however, none of them soothed and smoothed my lips. The moisturiser in these was not very effective for me and left my lips still feeling dry and I had to reapply quite often. They all smell fantastic but sadly they did not do the job for me.
These lip balms smell amazing and have cute packaging but I think they are not very effective. They do not seem to moisturise my lips at all and whenever i use them, they make my lips even more dry. I guess baby lips is just not for me.
I was drawn in my the cute packaging and purchased a handful of these at once! They seemed really popular and I had even seen a few people collecting them, so I thought they must be good!
I suffer from dry lips all the time, and being a matte lipstick lover I need a good lipbalm to protect my lips and keep them nice and smooth, the baby lips just don't do it for me! I really didn't notice anything from using baby lips.
Yeah, they smell nice. And they look cute and Yeah, someone who doesn't wear a lot of lipstick/liner etc or anyone who doesn't often get dry chapped lips would probably find these work fine, but I personally need something that offers a lot of moisture/protection!
I prefer more natural products on my lips nowdays, I find they work the best! E.g. (hurraw, papaw ointment etc) Are a few of my favs!
Picked this up a while ago hoping it would give some relief to my winter chapped lips. Have to say though I found that the formula sat on top of my lips, left a sticky residue, didn't absorb into my lips at all or make them feel any more hydrated. Not a repurchase and would not recommend to anyone looking for a hydrating lip balm.
I bought this seeing so many good reviews and chose Mango because I have so many berry flavoured balms so it made sense to me to try a new flavour. The packaging is cute and funky (hot pink with bright yellow) and the standard wind up balm stick you would expect in there. The scent is subtle but the flavour is nice and not too strong but definitely there, sweet but not overly. It does effect the back of my throat and makes it feel scratchy (a few products do that and it's more annoying than hurting).
I have had this sitting in my desk drawer for emergency application only... It feels nice as you apply it but it barely lasts the hour. It doesn't last even remotely as long as it claims... it's a really bold statement to say 8+ hours... I have to reapply with in one hour so not even kind of close (plus on the packet, which I threw in my desk drawer also, it says 12hrs or moisture).
One of the positives about this is the SPF20! It does feel nice and buttery when first applying it, and I see no evidence of plumper lips with longer use.
I was real excited to try this but it was a bit of a let down. Whilst it looks and smells great, I didn't find it to be very moisturising - if anything my lips were dryer after using it...unfortunately, as I really wanted this to work.
Im not sure if I should hate this product or love it. When it first came out i absolutely loved it and used it everyday. It kept my lips which are very dry, super moisturised and crack free. When i repurchased another one i decided to try one with a tint(the glow), the tint was great especially if I didn't want to wear lipstick that day but i started to notice that my lips were getting really dry again and I felt like i had to keep applying the product constantly. I think if i repurchase this product i will stick to the regular kind and hope the problem doesn't occur again.
