I found that this was not all it was cracked up to be. I used to try something different. Yes it smells great, glides on nicely, and is not sticky or annoying. But it dried my lips out within a couple of hours, felt like I had mulitiple layers of dry unsightly skin and evened up spending alot of time biting the dry skin off.

This is the lippie I have in my handbag everyday just because if I loose it I am not to bothered but I still like it enough to wanna use it. Smells yummy, moisturizes (not for 8hrs) and it looks cute. Although mines the whitish looking color and it can make my lips look washed out
I have found this to be a basic but handy lip balm . Fits in my pocket easily and use it a lot. Though I have found I do need to reapply regularly and pretty sure my lips have'nt gone back to being as soft as when I was a baby.
They are a good price point and can be picked up at the supermarket which I s great. One has gone through the washing machine in my pocket and is still useable which was good.
Personally, I was a little disappointed with the babylips lip balm. I am someone who has had to deal with extremely dry lips my whole life, and have tried many lip balms in the past. The lip balm didn't really moisturise my lips like brands such as Blistex does. I'm sure this lip balm would be nice for people that don't get extremely dry lips, but I was disappointed. However, the flavours of these lip balms are really nice. The packaging is pretty too.
Tips: I'd say this lip balm would not be good for people with extremely dry lips. It's great for people with normal lips, that want to keep their lips soft and supple. Put it on under your lipstick to help the lipstick look fresh.
I actually won a baby lips lip balm and i like the way it felt on my lips but i didnt like how full on the taste was it was a bit of a put off and i stopped using it due to that reason
I only gave 3 out of 5 stars for each category as I wouldn't call this product amazing at all. I really think it's something for teenagers.
Found the colour build up to be a really horrible pink that looked amazingly artificial. Almost like dried out lip stick, not pretty. I also wasn't overly impressed with the taste, It wasn't horrible but not comparable to other lip balms I've used in the same price range.
On the plus side, it def wasn't sticky which is something I do like.
Its better than ChapStick but not as good as nivea lip butter. Didn't make them baby soft but certainly softer. The only one I don't like is the one that adapts to a supposedly baby pink colour as it turns my lips almost red.
I was intrigued by the hype surrounding baby lips - I mean all lip balm sticks are pretty much the same right? (Except Hurraw - oh my, now THAT is a lip balm worthy of hyperbole.)
The packaging is cute - bright, girly and unmissable. But essentially the same as any other chapstick - round, cap lid etc.
The range of 'flavours' are pretty standard, fruity and fresh - nothing sounds off-putting. I chose mentholated mainly because I was curious if it would be an alternative to Carmex
The menthol scent is strong and it does have a refreshing cooling sensation on your lips. For some reason I never associate menthol with moisturising, but my lips felt instantly smooth. Consistency wise the product is not 'bitty' like other cheap lip balms but it doesn't feel as creamy as some more high-end lip balms do.
I don't believe the product lasted 8 hours - I use lip balm through the day (I have pots and sticks everywhere!) and I felt I had to reapply this more than I would my Hurraw, to keep that soft feeling.
So to sum up - I still don't really understand the hype around the product. I think the brand, packaging, price and wide availability are more appealing than the actual product to be honest. There are better lip balms out there, even in this price range.(Sierra Bees for example)
Tips: I wouldn't recommend this if your lips are in need of repair - it's not a heavy duty lip balm, but it's ok to have in your handbag for an emergency.
I own quite a few of the baby lips lip balms and to me, they aren't worth the hype. They are really moisturising initially but then they dry my lips out and leave them horrible and chapped. The mixed berry one is great in that it changes colour, but the lasting power isn't long and it seems to dry my lips out the most. If you want pretty packaging and great smelling lip balms, then these are the ones for you, but if you have really chapped lips and just want something moisturising, probably best to look elsewhere.
At first, this lip balm felt really nice on my lips and had a pleasant taste. Every time I put some on my lips it feels good, but as it starts to wear off my lips start to dry out. When I wake up after putting some on just before I went to bed, my lips are super cracked. After reading many reviews I have decided to continue using it for the next week or so to see if it eventually gets better, as many people say that it does.
Tips: They melt a lot in the heat, and I feel like I have to reapply it often.
