These balms smell really yum! But for me I was disappointed about how they made my lips feel. They felt good when you put it on, but I felt I had to reapply too often to get the conditioned feel again. That's just me!

I have two of these lip balms and I was really excited to find there was a balm out there that has a slight tint to it as Im not one for wearing lipstick but wouldnt mind a little colour along with moisturising. But when i bought my first one there was no colour. It wasnt until i did some research that i found I had to buy the "glow" ones. but even after buying the silver babylips glow I couldnt really tell of any colour........but an upside the taste was nice and it felt great on the lips and really moisturised.
Being a lip balm addict I've tried a couple of these and can't say I was either too impressed or too disappointed in them. I don't think they're as moisturising as I thought they'd be, definitely not the eight hours promised anyway but I apply and reapply constantly out of habit so it's not such a big deal to me. I think they're a bit overpriced so I'd purchase them again but only if I can get them on sale
I love the idea behind Maybelline's Baby Lips, in that the tubes are bright and fun and there is a variety of different 'flavours' to choose from. I have friends who rave about these lip balms, but for me the balm only gives me instant relief from sore and chapped lips, and definitely doesn't last the 8 hours that the campaign claimed. I like my lips to stay moist and conditioned for long periods of time, and these balms unfortunately didn't do that for me.
I love the young bright packaging of these Maybelline Baby Lips range. The price is unbeatable at only $4.99 per stick. The lip balm itself is nothing overly special but does hydrate the lip and I love how it gives a slight tint. I choose to wear this lip balm while working out, make-up free days (who am I kidding... little Make-up days) or just when I want to hydrate my lips.
Overall I would recommend buying these just to have as your go-to lip balm with a dash of colour.
Tips: Buy one for your car, bag, home and anywhere else. Cheap as chips so why wouldn't you?!
I have these in several scents and colours.
I really like them, particularly 'pink lolita' which gives quite a strong hint of colour, but is in this very convenient tube so you can apply on the go, throughout the day.
They all smell amazing, especially the berry and orange ones. They're really handy to keep in your handbag, as I seem to lose lip balms all the time. They're cute and cheap.
Once I've used mine, I will only repurchase for the coloured ones. The regular balms aren't nearly nourishing and moisturising enough...they do seem to just be a balmy barrier on my lips, rather than moisturising them. They're okay on the go, but when I don't use them my lips feel drier, which is a tell-tale sign of a dodgy lip balm for me. But again, the coloured ones are amazing. For simple moisturising balms, I'll stick to the Neutrogena Naturals balm stick, and Trilogy Everything Balm.
for my dry lips unfortunately, in fact I think this may have even contributed to making them flake at the corners. Also be careful if you have asthma as this (like a lot of balms) had me reaching for the ventolin almost straight after application. I've used it a few times over lipstick just for a bit of extra oomph but I think i'll stick to my regular balm. In saying all that, it's not BAD, it's just okay for me. It provides a nice splash of subtle colour (I have the Pink Lolita shade which is a pretty light pink) and for those with less issues with dryness is probably perfect for every day maintenance.
It somewhat helps keep my lips soft but wears off too fast for me! I wouldn't use it again. To me it's a waste of money
I have been using the Baby Pink Glow lip balm which has a little bit of a baby pink tint in it.
I do really love that it gives a little bit of a tint without being too intense - as in it gives you colour, but not enough that you need to use a mirror to put it on.
It smells really yummy. In fact all of the ones that I have tried smell amazing. Especially the berry one!
They're really handy to keep in your handbag/ on your desk/ on your bedside table. A good little size and cheap enough that you don't need to worry too much about losing them.
They aren't the most amazing lip balm I have ever tried. They don't seem to last long and I haven't seen any noticeable change on my lips. I guess at least they haven't got worse! It isn't sticky too which is the sign of a poor quality one.
In terms of moisturising, I think they are okay. Once again not amazing. But it does put a barrier on your lips which protects from wind and sun (and air conditioning at this time of the year!)
So yes, had better and had worse! An okay lip balm in a cute little packet.
I too was a sucker for the cute packaging and affordable price and as a lip balm/gloss addict the eight hour moisturising sold me. Its ok, it does its job but I don't believe the moisturising lasts for eight hours. The smells and flavours are great. At the moment I am using the Pink Glow which gives a nice tint to the lips. I just like how affordable and easy to access it is, have one in my handbag, car and my drawer at work and for those reasons I will use it again and again. But if I wanted a long lasting moisturising product I would stick to the Lucas Paw Paw or similar.
