This is one of the best self tanners I have ever used. The smell is amazing and it does not turn you orange, like some self tanners. This is my go to self tanner.

Tips: Make sure you exfoliate well around the knees, ankles, wrists and elbows before tanning
This self tan doesn't work on me! I try to apply it but I just can't, It goes very streaky and I just can't get it right!! My skin is very very very pale even when i get a lot of sun my "tan" isn't very tan. Any tips to apply this? I have the mit and everything but I still can't get it to work. its very frustrating!!!
Unless your legs are super prepared for this tan, it wont work.
I went a weird orange color more often than not, i still have the same one bottle i for the past year, so it hasn't made it to the empty stage just yet. I do keep it around just in case i run out of tan.
It streaked mostly on the shins on my legs and then went really streaky on the sides. I have used mouses before and found them to be idiot proof, these are not. I had to apply too coats to get an even all over color, hence i would probably go more orange than a nice natural brown.
Tips: Exfoliate your skin for 3 days in a row prior, even a wax 4 days before tanning will help remove any dead skin. Moisturize all week consistently twice a day, these steps help prepare the skin for an all over even tan. Use a buffing mitt and do upwards strokes first before buffing around, making sure your hands and feet are done last. sweep over the knee and elbow. Even putting a moisturizer on hands, feet, elbows and knees will prevent product from sticking to those areas.
You guessed it, i went ORANGE!! First impression was this has a great reputation, lets try it! and the fact it came in a pink bottle, bonus! However, thats where all the awesomeness stops for me. I done everything right, from shaving 3 days prior, exfoliating twice a day, and then using the mit to apply......Streaks everywhere :( I have never had this much trouble with self tanning with other brands. I also did not like the smell. I would reccommend to freinds but i would tell them my experiance first.
Tips: Do a patch test first!! purchase the tan remover from model Co in case you do turn orange. and deffinately use a Mitt. Good Luck xx
Nice tan, is my go to if I need to be tanned in only a couple of hours, is more of a golden colour though.
Tips: Make sure you have prep'd properly on your legs or is will show terribly! Use a applicator mitt.. amazing results, can buff out tan imperfections easy!
Love this stuff, works well drys quickly and along as you take your time to apply this then you will have a perfect tan. Problem is that its a bitch to get off.
It was an ok product to use, I like the natural tan look and have my skin abit darker which is nice but the only sucky thing is that it doesn't cover up tan lines and have to keep applying or put suga baby bronzer on top and it only made a difference with one application over night but I wouldnt mind using it again but just have to keep applying once a day or two
I first purchased this after bumping into a friend in a pharmacy, after seeing how lovely and tan she was (and me forever trying to find something that helps create some colour on my fair skin) I asked what she used and she directed me to this product.
Before I tried this I prepped my skin- shaved and exfoliated atleast 24hrs before in order to get the best results. I also bought the Blend buffing mitt in order to avoid streaking and avoid orange hands!
Using the mitt makes it really quick and easy to apply and the great thing about this product is that it dries fast, so your not standing there for ages waiting for it to dry. However it would still be recommendable to wait at least 20 minutes before getting dressed. To get the best coverage use small circular buffing motions with the mitt in order to cover all areas and not miss any spots.
I found I only needed one coat of this and after waiting a few hours I had a nice evenish tan. I did learn however to avoid drier areas as it tends to stick to that and make them look darker! avoid dry areas such as knees, backs of ankles and elbows. With my second time using it I would quickly brush over those areas rather than buff or apply moisturiser beforehand so it wouldn't stick as bad to it.
Overall the product was good but not amazing. The colour was alright, a tad orangish tinge to it so a little on the faker side however I am quite fussy as personally I prefer that more natural looking tan (which is very hard to find and achieve!). I still havent finished the bottle- sits in the back of my bathroom cupboard as I use other tanning products ( absolutely loving playboy airbrush tan atm! ) however I still reach from it time to time when I run out of my other products. It is reasonably priced however if you haven't used it before and needed a tan before a special event, I suggest trialling well before that in order to perfect the application and see if its right for you.
Tips: prep your skin atleast 24 hours beforehand- shave and exfoliate. Also use the Mitt to avoid streaking and orange hands
I liked this product, it smelled good both during application and while the tan is developing. I have medium toned skin and found the colour on application really dark (which was great for an instant tan on an evening out) and the end result was a good natural colour. I followed the directions carefully and still ended up with dark patches on my knees and the odd streak, but I put it down to the need to perfect my application skills! I loved that it survived a night of dancing and didn't transfer onto my sheets afterward
Tips: Exfoliate before application!
After reading such glowing reviews on multiple platforms, I really did think I was going to love this product. I was already converted to fake tanning mousse's as these are the easiest to apply. I have tried many, many tanning products and had been using St Moriz Tanning mousse for a few months. I was very pleased with the St Moriz product but I thought that a more expensive mousse may provide the same deep colour and easy application, but simply last a little longer.
The application of the ModelCo Supertan is quick and easy. I used a tanning mitt which left an even, streak-free application. For my personal colour preference I found that I had to apply quite a few layers of the tan to get the colour that I wanted, in comparison to the St Moriz dark formula. I applied this on the first night and applied the St Moriz on the second night to get the colour that I wanted. The ModelCo Supertan is green based which is excellent as it won't make you orange, however I did find that it gave a tan with a yellow tinge. This probably isn't something that somebody new to tanning would notice. The smell was sweet and not overpowering, although I haven't had trouble with the smell of any mousse products.
This product has gone to the back of the cupboard and I have once again reached for my St Moriz tanning mousse in dark. If you had the chance to pick up the ModelCo Supertan at a very reasonable price, then give it a go, but I don't recommend rushing out to buy it.
Tips: Apply with a tanning mitt for an even, streak free finish and no orange hands.
