Pleasently surprised. normally I would be reluctant to buy a mousse type of self tan, preferring lotions (less messy). This did a good job, nice coverage, no streaks, nice colour. best of all it smells good.

Tips: you might need to use an exfoliating wash to get it off your hands after, even if you wash them straight away.
Due to my extremely pale skin, I'm not the biggest fan of tan tan as it tends to look very un-natural no matter what I use; this however, must be one the best I've tried - despite it being way too dark on my first application. Found it relatively easy to apply and get even - just don't over rub it in, otherwise it tends to go patchy. It doesn't smell like a typical tan-in-a-can, which is one of the main things that usually puts me off; the smell is actually quite pleasant and the colour is pretty good to!
Tips: If you're naturally really pale, still give it a go - you'll find that when you wash after your first application, it seems to get rid of a lot of the excess colour and gives you a nice light glow. But I'd recommend having a bit of a natural tan first before using.
It was an ok product to use, I like the natural tan look and have my skin abit darker which is nice but the only sucky thing is that it doesn't cover up tan lines and have to keep applying or put suga baby bronzer on top and it only made a difference with one application over night but I wouldnt mind using it again but just have to keep applying once a day or two
I was a little bit worried about trying this as I have very fair skin, so any self-tanning is very obvious and mistakes can be quite unforgiving. This product is very easy to apply, although I was not sure how much would be needed and may have used a bit too much. The colour is a nice deep brown, and since it is instant you can see exactly what you are doing. It drys quickly, so you do need to work relatively fast. I personally feel this is a little bit too dark for my skin tone, but will definately give it another go to see if it makes a difference with less product, and I am interested to see if the 'inside out tanning' formula with melatime and vegetan makes a difference.
Tips: You only need two pumps at the most to cover each leg.
I am a big fake tan user, especially through winter, and its hard to find one that doesn't come out orange. I do have a brand that I buy regularly, but had never tried Model Co, and its definately a winner. The tan developed better over a couple of hours, and could dress about 10mins after application, alot of tans are alot longer waiting time. The colour is more subtle and natural looking. I will definately be using this one.
Tips: For all tan users, use the gloves, make applying alot easier.
I do not usually use fake tan products and tend to use other methods to tan through the winter months...so I was a bit nervous about using this product. I was pleasantly surprised it does not have that awful fake tan smell and I found it relatively easy to use. My application wasn't perfect and I need some practice to avoid streaks ( more a case of "operater error" than the fault of the product). The colour was pretty good...not the orange I feared!
Tips: If you haven't used fake tan before read all the other reveiwers tips!
Nice tan, is my go to if I need to be tanned in only a couple of hours, is more of a golden colour though.
Tips: Make sure you have prep'd properly on your legs or is will show terribly! Use a applicator mitt.. amazing results, can buff out tan imperfections easy!
Love this stuff, works well drys quickly and along as you take your time to apply this then you will have a perfect tan. Problem is that its a bitch to get off.
I liked this product, it smelled good both during application and while the tan is developing. I have medium toned skin and found the colour on application really dark (which was great for an instant tan on an evening out) and the end result was a good natural colour. I followed the directions carefully and still ended up with dark patches on my knees and the odd streak, but I put it down to the need to perfect my application skills! I loved that it survived a night of dancing and didn't transfer onto my sheets afterward
Tips: Exfoliate before application!
I first purchased this after bumping into a friend in a pharmacy, after seeing how lovely and tan she was (and me forever trying to find something that helps create some colour on my fair skin) I asked what she used and she directed me to this product.
Before I tried this I prepped my skin- shaved and exfoliated atleast 24hrs before in order to get the best results. I also bought the Blend buffing mitt in order to avoid streaking and avoid orange hands!
Using the mitt makes it really quick and easy to apply and the great thing about this product is that it dries fast, so your not standing there for ages waiting for it to dry. However it would still be recommendable to wait at least 20 minutes before getting dressed. To get the best coverage use small circular buffing motions with the mitt in order to cover all areas and not miss any spots.
I found I only needed one coat of this and after waiting a few hours I had a nice evenish tan. I did learn however to avoid drier areas as it tends to stick to that and make them look darker! avoid dry areas such as knees, backs of ankles and elbows. With my second time using it I would quickly brush over those areas rather than buff or apply moisturiser beforehand so it wouldn't stick as bad to it.
Overall the product was good but not amazing. The colour was alright, a tad orangish tinge to it so a little on the faker side however I am quite fussy as personally I prefer that more natural looking tan (which is very hard to find and achieve!). I still havent finished the bottle- sits in the back of my bathroom cupboard as I use other tanning products ( absolutely loving playboy airbrush tan atm! ) however I still reach from it time to time when I run out of my other products. It is reasonably priced however if you haven't used it before and needed a tan before a special event, I suggest trialling well before that in order to perfect the application and see if its right for you.
Tips: prep your skin atleast 24 hours beforehand- shave and exfoliate. Also use the Mitt to avoid streaking and orange hands
