This a high luxury soap that most people probably wouldn't purchase for everyday use, but would make a great gift idea. The smell is amazing, the formula is nice and creamy and the bars are big which means they will last a long time.
They are a lot more expensive than other soaps, but due to the size and quality, I think it is worth it and will be repurchasing.
I am not really a soap person, I prefer a body wash but I was given this particular bar soap for my birthday. It looked so pretty, pink and embossed, quite posh really.
In the shower I used a face cloth and the soap lathered up nicely and smelt amazing,
It rinsed away well and left me clean, smelling yummy and moisturised.
The only thing I would say about it, is it is a huge bar of soap and some people may have a problem with it being wet in the shower.
Tips: Because it is so big, it may be easier to use in a bath instead of a shower
I was really happy to score a bargain on a cute little soapette in the Marshmallow scent. It came in this adorable keepsake pink and chrome tin with MOR's logo. The soap smelt delicious like sweet vanilla, with light floral notes with a hint of musk. I couldn't wait to use this little bar of luxury in the shower. It foamed up to a lovely, creamy lather with my shower puff and although the scent wasn't as strong as I hoped I did enjoy it. I used it every day for a over a week the soap is still about the same size. After about a week my skin started to feel itchy and get those red blotches after I got after a shower, the parts of my body that I had given an extra good scrub needed extra lotion to calm the itching. I remembered getting this reaction from other soaps so I switched to more gentler soap and I didn't have that problem. Will I use this? Yes, I will at times but, I wouldn't repurchase for myself because it's expensive and my skin got itchy after regular use. I does have some glycerin, shea butter and vitamin e listed in the ingredients but they aren't high on list. That being said if your skin isn't easily irritated this is a lovely soap and you will get lots of use out of just one little bar.
Tips: Makes a nice little gift for someone and the tin is handy for storing sample sachets or pots or a small soap or massage bar.
A while ago I purchased some bras and undies through Rose and Thorne, and as their website was down they kindly sent me a MOR kit that contained this soap, a beautiful turkish hand towel and a hand cream. The soap and hand cream is in the scent Marshmellow, and the towel before washing also smelled like it.
The soap is a gorgeous pink, not quite baby pink but not an offensive hot pink. It's a color I would use for a kids room, if I had them. It's embossed with MOR and designs and it's a really huge bar of soap.
The smell it gives off is amazing, Marshmellow is my favorite. It's feminine, musky, yet girly and playful too. It's just really nice, not a smell you'd give your nana but it's sophisticated enough that you could and she would love it.
The soap lathers up really nicely and leaves a lovely scent on my hands, and it's also not overly drying. Followed with the hand cream it's a real winner and I'm in love with everything Marshmellow, now!
