I was given 3 little tins of MOR goodness through work, my fav is the black tin - Cassis Noir - love it! Great flavour & odour, makes my lips feel lovely, easy to put over any other colour or just wear on it's own. Last and lasts!

Tips: I keep it in front of my computer at work, so my lips dont dry out with the airconditioning & I dont have to worry about the lid coming off in my handbag.
I use this product daily and it feels amazing on my lips, its smooth and doesn't feel heavy like other products I've used in the past. The small tin is perfect size to fit in my pocket and I use it on the go. I put it on in the morning then again after I eat if I need to, it really lasts
Tips: it's great under lipstick :)
I cant deny that the packaging totally got me with this one, I have so many lip blams what's one more?! I brought it from a local Mor stockist for $8. A yummy scent and I find this very nourishing on my lips and its works fine under lip stick too. I don't find it too greasy like other reviews and I feel its long lasting and actually keeps lips hydrated.
My only downside is that you need to use your fingers to apply it, so best to use clean fingers to apply. I now keep this on my bedside table and apply before sleep for this reason.
Tips: Great gift idea with its cute packaging and cost effective price.
I have this gorgeous little gem in rose. Firstly, the tin is adorable (if not a little difficult to open sometimes!- but that just means it doesn't fall open in my hand bag!). It smells and tastes lovely, and it's super smoothing and hydrating. This is my absolute favourite lip balm, and I have MANY!! It gets rid of my flakey bits almost instantly, I was so impressed! The only rwason I haven't given it more is because I don't know how quickly I'd be willing to spend that much on a lip balm, or recommend because of the price, but I love it and i would be very, VERY tempted to buy all the flavours. Lovely!
Tips: I'm really surprised by all the reviews saying it wasn't great, but i do a lot to keep my lips in good condition so maybe that's why. Keep your lips exfoliated and use lip balm morning and night, and WHENEVER you feel thirsty. Thirst means dehydration, which means your lips and skin will be, too! Apply under a lipstick, as it means you'll have a slightly lighter colour, with the glorious shine given by the balm.
Ah Mor, this is a brand i am just drawn too. Plus it helps that my work stocks this brand, so temptation is pretty hard to resist,
This gorgeous lip macaroon comes in a little metal container, which is different colours depending on the favour. My one is Cassis-Noir (which i think is black berry), and comes in a black container, with the gold embossed print that all the flavours have. Honestly, i would buy this product for the packaging alone.
Plus how cute is the name? Macaroon lip balm. It just sounds good enough to eat, oh and it smells good enough to eat. All the different flavours obviously smell differently, and i'll be honest some smell better than others, and some are more fragrant than others. I love Cassis-Noir because its slight sweet, but sophisticated. Its not sickly at all, and it just has a slight depth to the fragrance which makes it irresistible.
The lip macaroon is the formula of a lipbalm. From first glance it almost looks the consistency of Vaseline, but its is harder in consistency, and way nicer ;).
One downside, and unfortunately it is a bigger for me. Although the packaging is super cute, and picture perfect, its not my ideal packaging for lip balm because i have to use my fingers for application, i know this little lip balm will be filled of germs from who knows where before long. I always try to apply with clean fingers but still.
Over all this lip balm is nice, it has a beautiful smell, and its sits nicely on my lips without being greasy or slippery. I will say its not overly hydrating, i mean if my lips are in good condition its a nice balm, but if my lips are in some need of TLC, this is not what i would use to help them
I bought the pink one in this thinking it would have that signature MOR rose scent I love so much, but alas I was hugely disappointed.
The packaging lives up to the MOR standard, but that's about where signature MOR expectations stop.
The balm itself looked like a yellowed vaseline with zero glam to it - it literally has no scent (That or my olfactory system is failing and I somehow doubt that).
It does go on very thin and you have to really work your finger into this thing to warm it up and pick up the product for application. Once on, I felt it was quite good and made my really dry lips feel moisturised, but this lasts barely an hour before you have to reapply. I've stuck with it because I spent the $$ on it and it's almost finished now. I won't be purchasing another because paying less for a blistex which works wonders is probably a better bet.
MOR really need to work on a better formula for this one - but it's not all bad as I said. It does in fact moisturise, if you are willing to keep it handly and keep applying every hour or so as needed.
Not a testament to the MOR brand, but their other products are still amazing.
I bought this in Blood Orange, Sorbet and Peach Nectar. Packaging is beautiful but as with all tub/jar packaging, not very hygienic since you have to dip your fingers in, etc...
First off, even though I just bought this a week ago, and the website I bought it from copied the description from the main MOR website (which said that the lip macaron had lanolin, shea butter and other goodies in it), the one I received must have been old stock because the two main ingredients were petrolatum (Vaseline) and mineral oil. In fact, it performs exactly like Vaseline, an occlusive that does not work if your lips are already dry as there is no moisture to "lock in". I believe the new formulation is in a plastic jar but I would be wary as many of the metal tin, "old" versions are floating around. In fact, I received one that had rusted around the rim and the flakes had fallen into the product.
Like I said, aside from the nice smell, this performs exactly like Vaseline, and makes my lips slightly softer, but doesn't feel like it plumps or hydrates. I might try get my hands on the new formulation to see if it does better.
Oh yes, and it was super greasy and heavy and my lips were sliding around each other. Not a pleasant feeling.
Tips: 1. Average lip balm that I plan on using as cuticle butter. 2. Add a little sugar to form a lip scrub.
I purchased the light pink MOR lip macaron over a year ago when I was in Wellington and wanted to buy a MOR product. This one jumped out at me as the packaging is super pretty with the lovely colour combination of pastel pink and gold. The front view photo doesn't show it but the product itself resembles a macaron from the side. It smells amazing, and it was such a tough decision to pick between them all. It is sweet - like marshmallows, with a hint of floral to stop it from becoming sickly. The formula is thin and is great for underneath lipstick or as a quick touch of moisture during the day. It is the perfect product to keep in my handbag, but it's not something that I would reach for at night or if my lips were overly dry.
At $10.99 it is a little treat to tuck in my handbag. It would make a lovely gift, wrapped in tissue paper and tucked in a tiny box.
I received one of these in my Sample Bar subscription box and I thought the design was super cute. Its a nice size compact or tin whichever you prefer to call it, and the lid stays on really well. The texture for me was just a bit too thin. I like lip products to be quite thick and moisturising due to having super dry lips. It did glide on really well, but I found it to be a bit sticky and didn't stay on very well at all. I think if they brought one out for super dry lips, then I would consider purchasing this again, but just not for me I'm afraid. Also the flavour wasn't that nice either. So I guess based on all of the above factors, I would definitely only give it 2 stars due to how compact it is and the lovely design. Sometimes you can make a product look really pretty on the outside, but the most important points to consider is the quality of the product inside.
I've always been one to flit around between lip balms, once the novelty wears off, I always find a new one to try! However, from the first moment I opened this little tin of pure loveliness, I was in love. Firstly, it looks so adorable and I feel happy just holding it! But most importantly, it is such a beautiful feeling putting it on, so soft and soothing and it doesn't leave your lips feeling heavy or greasy like some I have tired. I was given the Lip Macaron in Rose and it just smells heavenly, without being strong and overpowering. Would definitely recommend these lovely little treasures to any lady who wants a good, hydrating lip balm that also looks pretty to carry around as well!
