Moreish Daily Redemption Day Cream review

I have given this moisturiser a good go as I have used about half of the bottle, however I am not a fan of how it feels on my face. I have combination skin and I feel it pulls and makes my face feel tight so I seem to be putting another moisturiser on over the top to make my face feel normal again. I like that the product is free of harmful substances and has natural ones instead and I love the scent, however I prefer my daily moisturiser to have SPF in it so would recommend they add one to their range :) I don't think I will be using this product as my daily moisturiser any more, but may keep it as a hand moisturiser or possibly give it away to my mother.

I did not like this moisturizer unfortunately. What originally made me pick it up was that it was made from mostly natural sources which always appeals to me when picking up a moisturizer. However this didn't feel luxurious on my skin and actually made my skin feel sticky afterwards. The good points were that it was easy to find and buy, not too expensive and it smelt really nice. However because of the way it felt on my skin, I would not repurchase this or recommend it to a friend.

I was lucky to recieve this as a trail. I'm always after a decent moisturiser so happily accepted the trail. First impressions were oh this looks very pretty! So the following day I began to use it. It is a pump bottle which is great because you can see the amount you have left as the inside of bottle moves up. However once out of the box the bottle looked cheap and did not have the ingredients or directions labeled like other products so you need to hold onto the box!! The smell was very strong and I was not overly impressed to start with as I thought the smell suited a older age group or one that likes floral smell.. I like to feel fresh with a fresh or no fragrance kind of product. The texture is quite thick and been in a pump bottle you do need a fair amount. Once toner was dry i needed a large amount and really had to force it to spread. Been a mum and always in a hurry I like a moisturiser that spreads easily with a slip slop slap out the door so it did become frustrating to actually take the time to rub the cream in. Towards the end of my trail I began using it straight after toner and it spread great, the smell was less intense or I have gotten used to it so that helps :P for the price I would probably not use it again. The thick texture of it reminds me of a hand cream. But like I mentioned above the floral smell was a stinky smell to me.

I received this as part of the NZ Brands Beauty Box. I had heard of Moreish before and had previously tried one of their lip balms.

This is a day cream and its key ingredients are: Argan, Vitamin E and Blueberry. The container is tall and slim, with an easy to use pump bottle and a removable lid.

I have very dry skin and this cream is a bit lighter than I would prefer, even for day use. My skin still felt dry after applying it, and I felt I needed to use several pumps of it to feel fully moisturised. Also, it has the look as consistency of sunscreen, even though it does not say it contains any, but it definitely reminds me of that.

The scent is quite powerful, and after you have applied it to your face it overpowers you. It is not unpleasant, but it is strong.

This is the first Moreish product I've used which I received in the BBBE but I won't be repurchasing it. In the 3 weeks that I've been using it I think it's an ok product but as per the description it caters to dry and mature skin whereas I have oily skin.

I like the packaging, a brown plastic bottle with a pump so there is better control over how much to dispense. I use 1 and a half pumps for my face. The formula has a lightweight consistency that's easily worked into the skin but despite being lightweight I find that it takes time for the skin to absorb.

Makeup sits really well on top of this moisturiser but it has to be one of the most fragrant I've ever used, I sometimes think it should be a body lotion. The scent reminds me of creamy floral soaps or some sort of fragrance you'd come across after unearthing some of nana's lotions.

I stopped using this during the day for two reasons 1. As the day wore on my skin became oilier, not excessively, but enough for me to notice. It was as if the moisturiser hadn't fully been absorbed. 2. There is no SPF. Yes I can just slap on my primer and foundation which have SPF but if it's a makeup free day then I'm going to have to slap on sunscreen and if I'm in a rush?

I started using it at night but I just didn't enjoy having the scent linger and coupled with Living Nature's Radiance Night Oil which is just as fragrant, one had to give. I have since passed this onto mum to wear at night instead maybe she'll have better use for it.

Absolutely love this divine product, the scent is so divine and does a great job with restoring skin moisture

unfortuanatley it gave me a couple rashy spots on my skin, i think its not compatible with sensitive skin, boohoo, love the product but not prone to sensitive skin

This was quite hard to blend onto my face. My skin didn't look very moisurised. Smells strange. Won't be buying again

I was lucky enough to trial this product, as I've now reached the "dirty thirties" I'm starting to see more lines appear around my eyes which is something I would like to keep at bay.

This product has a lovely creamy texture, a little goes a long way and it spreads evenly into your skin. I found that it was an excellent pre primer moisturiser to use in the morning too.

However, as much as I liked the benefits - I did not find it too really reduce the lines around my eyes at all - I could not get past the smell of this! It has quite a strong floral smell and I really found it too strong for my liking - although it does fade quickly after it has been applied - I found it to be quite unpleasant when applying.

Overall I will finish the bottle off but wouldn't buy it again because of the scent. However if the smell didn't put me off I would continue to buy it because it really did seem to keep my skin well hydrated which we need at this cold time of year!
