I have used this for a few months now, only because I bought a large tube. I mainly use it on my lips because it is very dry, flaky and cracked at the moment. It does take the dry feeling away but does not soothe/heal the lips. Even after applying and reapplying it throughout the day, I still have that dry flaky feeling on my lips. I will continue to use it because I don't want to waste it but it is such a large tube which takes up space in my handbag. If it was thicker maybe it would have worked better.

Absolutely LOVE THIS PRODUCT! best paw paw ointment ever! I use for nearly EVERYTHING! every red spot on my body and it'l work- its like my very own HEALING BALM!! I have to have it with me EVERYWHERE i go. Used on my cold sore and it disappeared in DAYS! Amazing product- I always reccomend to family and friends!
Tips: Always carry one around with you- I DO
I brought this as a cheaper version of paw paw ointment. It generally is the sane and you can use on dry skin or cuts etc but find it a little greasy and doesn't absorb as well as the original paw paw
Tips: You don't need to use too much
So I have a mixed review on this, I love papaw ointment in general and this particular brand seems to do as good a job as the Lucas brand BUT I am not sure if my tube is faulty. Mine was not a smooth texture but had some grainy bits thru out the whole tube. Made it very unpleasant especially due to what I needed it for. I had a misadventure with a teeth whitening product and it had come into contact with the inner part of my lips, even causing a blister in one spot! So it's been a touch painful! I started off just applying lip balm then remembered I had 2 new tubes of papaw ointment. I thought I'd try this brand as I received it for Xmas, so it was still sealed, it made a huge difference but the grainy bits hurt on the raw skin of my lips, so I opened the Lucas brand which is smooth and while doing the same job is more pleasant. Since using the papaw ointment my lips are healing super quick. I'd be interesting in knowing if anyone else has grainy bits in their tube!
I found this to have a fantastic result on my dry skin problem areas (my feet, lips, face) and reduced the flakiness issue I was having. Due to other changes to help my issues I use this product less often, but when I do still has the same fantastic result. When you apply it will take a few minutes to soak into your skin, it is slightly oily however that only seems to be a plus at helping with this products effectiveness at moisturising a problem area and giving you your soft skin back quickly. I’ve also found it has helped greatly when I get a patch of dry aggravated flaky skin. Within two days I find the area of flaky skin gone and almost healed I like to use this one on my dry heels as I'm not terribly fond of the smell of peppermint and find it a good alternative to other foot ointments with a similar effectiveness. It is a bit pricey for a small tube of it but it spreads very well and ends up being good value for money for how far it will go for you and its end result
Tips: Clean your skin first, a little goes along way with this stuff, yes it is a little greasy but sill soak in well and work wonders. Use this for problem areas to help keep the dry flaky skin gremlins at bay
I came across this product a couple years back in Sydney and bought it mistaking it for the Lucas's Paw Paw ointment (which I absolutely loved and used all the time and didn't have with me). Only after returning back to Auckland did I realise I had bought a dupe. In saying that - this product is a bit less pricey but it still works the same and does wonders from my dry, chapped lips. It's also a great multi-purpose ointment - so you can use it on burns and bites too. Great item to carry around in your handbag which you will undoubtedly love and make good use off.
Got this in my Santa sack for Christmas, great size to fit in any bag and take anywhere. Really good on sunburnt lips which seemed to occur often over summer. Keep on by my bedside table for middle of the night dry lips! Not too oily either
This is just as good as the other paw paw ointments out there in the market. I first saw this item at the warehouse when I was going to purchase my normal paw paw ointment. This caught me by surprise as I didnt know there was other products out there. This product was a dollar cheaper so I had to try it out to see if did the same job and it did. I love paw paw ointment and I am confident that this product is multi purpose item. You can use this pretty much on anything. It soothes and heals your skin. I will buy this product again and again. I love paw paw ointment. Best thing ever invented!!
I have always been a fan of 'Lucas paw paw ointment ', but I came across this product for less so I decided to give it a chance. It was in a similar tube and the ointment looked almost identical to the Lucas brand. There was not a lot of difference as far as I am concerned. However once sold on a product loyalty and trust can be hard to relent, so I still buy the Lucas pawpaw brand.
Great to use as a lip balm and also great for any minor skin irritations like rashes, itchy bites etc. Great for very dry skin too! Very comparable to Lucas Paw Paw - I have both - keep one at home on my makeup table and one in my handbag. Lasts for aaages.
Tips: Perfect as an overnight lip treatment. Great for exfoliating lips as well. Slather on lips, leave on for a few minutes then gently buff with a slightly damp flannel.
