Trilogy Everything Balm Review

A friend introduced me to this when she gifted it to me years ago and I'm so glad she did! I've since spread the love and gifted it to others. This is my travel essential due to it being both multi tasking and solid (I've been a victim of suitcase spillages too many times) I particularly like using this as a lip balm and it is also great for sore feet and cracked heels from sightseeing in unsuitable footwear all day.

This is easy to melt in your hands (and great on them too) and has the lovely Trilogy smell. The last tin I had, had the older flower design on it. I did find the closing mechanism on this tin was not so secure as it was just a half turn that came undone a little too easily. Hopefully the new packaging is a proper screw on top - I'll just have to buy another one to find out! I'll always keep coming back to this classic.

I bought the little 18ml version of this product in a Trilogy gift set that was on sale. It is a product that I have wanted to try for a long time, so it was great to be able to sample a miniature edition first. I bought the gift set about 6 months ago and the balm is still going - a little goes a long way!

This balm comes in a flat tin with a screw on lid. The balm sits inside, and you can apply it with your fingers. It recommends to warm it first, which you can do with your hands. It has a very pleasant, floral smell, and the balm itself is cream coloured.

I have used it mainly to rub into my cuticles before I go to sleep as I get very dry skin around my nails. I have also used it to rub on abrasions on my body, and it has assisted in the healing of those.

This product lasts such a long time, and feels so soothing on the skin, that I can see why it has such an amazing reputation.

It has an interesting but not unpleasant smell, and it's fairly solid so you have to apply some pressure to get it out of the tin.

But. It spreads easily and a little goes a long way. I have used it (in summer when it was warmer) on my knees, elbows, knuckles, and decolletage before bed. I also use it on my underarms and it seems to help prevent ingrown hairs after shaving. It's quite moisturising as the super dry scaly skin on my knuckles went away after a few days, but it doesn't leave you feeling greasy.

It's also really gentle, I've had no adverse reactions after using this. So really pleased with this product.

This cute little tin is very compact and ideal for travel or in your handbag. The balm inside smells a wee bit citrus and a wee bit flowery. A little goes a long way and absorbs rapidly. My pot has lasted for ever ...it seems! I have used it as a lip salve, a hand moisturiser and well ...anywhere that needs a little moisturiser. The warmth of your fingers helps the balm to soften immediately Making it very easy to apply.
