It’s the use of Sodium Laureth Sulphate which lets this product down for me. SLES is a known endocrine disruptor and skin irritant. For this reason I won’t be buying another bottle for daily use. The packaging, design, size of bottle are all great but I’m wondering why a pour lid not a pump since other products in the range have pumps and since they’re so much easier in the shower. My skin was left feeling really soft and lovely. I like fragrance as well-slightly musky. My skin has not reacted badly to Nature Box’s Shower Gel-Avocado at all, except after using it as shaving gel. Overall think the product is average.

Tips: The gel is quite runny so I’d use a sponge or flannel to pour it into before washing your skin. Do not use as shaving foam on sensitive areas-ie: Airports.
Just an average shower gel. It's moisturising enough that if I didn't follow up with lotion my skin wouldn't be dry. I do prefer shower gels and soaps to smell nicer, hence the 3/5 but otherwise I have no complaints. I probably wouldn't repurchase as I'd rather go for something with a fruit scent.
I was lucky enough to get to trial this range of products. This shower gel feels really nice on my somewhat sensitive skin without causing any irritation. It also smells great and leaves a very light, non-overwhelming scent on your skin afterwards which is nice. I love that this product is free from parabens and artificial colourants. I do however wish that it came in a pump bottle like the shampoo and conditioner in this range, because it is so much more convenient and means you don't end up pouring out too much. I have also used this body wash for when I am shaving my legs which has been great, no irritation or anything, which for me is definitely a sign of a good body wash and makes me more inclined to buy it again.
I was really excited to try this product as the thought of anything natural that is free from sulfate, parabens and other nasties really appeals to me. It makes me feel like I'm doing some good for my skin.
This product didn't disappoint, it left my skin feeling nourished and smooth and a little bit went a long way. The scent was nice and fresh without being overpowering, which is good if you're using it in conjunction with the shampoo and conditioner. It would be nice if it came in a pump bottle though like the other products but overall I was happy with it and would use it again.
This is product comes in a funky green plastic container that is made of 25% recycled plastic which compliments their product composition being free from silicone and parabens- I really like how earth-friendly everything about their product is. The colour scheme is green/black/gold and I like it, I think its nice and simple and sleek. The shower gel has a more see-through container compared to the moisturizer. This one has a flip top lid compared to some of their other products which have a pump. The consistency is not too thick and comes out easily. It is easy to apply to a cleansing puff but because the colour is clear, I did have trouble making sure I only poured the amount I wanted. Once again, it had a lovely subtle smell of nature, which I thought at first was something like a green apple, it was hard to describe it but it was quite pleasant and refreshing. It lathers reasonably well with the added bonus that it is paraben free. In my experience, often paraben free shower gels don’t lather well, so I was impressed with how well it lathered. A little goes a long way with this product and it feels nice on the skin. After using it, I felt really clean and fresh- some subtle scent lingers a bit, it’s nice and refreshing. I really liked this shower gel, I thought it was a good product to use and I would use this again.
Tips: This can sometimes be hard to see because it's a clear liquid!
I was very concerned that I'd smell like an avocado after using this shower gel - the good news is I didn't smell like an avocado!
I like a hot shower, and found that the gel foamed up really well under the hot water and was really easy to rub over my body, using a cleansing puff - the gel spread with ease.
The gel was quite refreshing on my body and I felt that my skin was left in a nourished condition - not to dry.
I am not sure how to explain the fragrance, other than subtle, a good subtle!
The packaging was quite unique in its green/golf/black colour scheme, which suited my bathroom quite nicely.
I love products with avocado in them, so I was very happy to be given the opportunity to trial the Nature Box avocado range. The range is free from silicones, parabens and sulfates, and is vegan. It is made from 100% cold-pressed avocado oil.
The shower gel comes in a 385ml green-tinted, clear plastic bottle with a black flip top lid. The label is black with Nature Box written in gold. The gel itself is clear and is easy to work into a lather. It is very gentle on the skin, and it has delicious citrusy scent.
I think this is a good value product. I will continue to use it after the trial is over.
This shower gel leaves you feeling clean without overly drying out your skin. Most natural shower gels barely lather making you hate a lot of product but this shower gel lathers nicely. It does have a strong scent that some people may not like but i find it refreshing and it doesn't seem to linger after your shower. It has a flip lid top, which i am not fond of as i find is hard to manage with wet hands especially if its slippery and it can make you hate a bit more product.
Over all an awesome product and i would continue to repurchase.
I have quite a collection of soaps and shower creams as I like to take put as much moisture into my dry skin, starting in the shower. I was keen to try this product because of the avocado oil; I wasn't disappointed. The lotion foamed up very nicely and felt so nice. After rinsing my skin felt and looked nourished, I was very impressed. Again the smell puts me off a bit. It's very strong and doesn't smell natural. This is a pity this is what the range is going for. On the plus side it does wear off but less so if you use the moisturiser straight after. I am less likely to repurchase this product, this is solely based on the fragrance.
Tips: Cover your body in the rich lather and leave for a minute before you rinse.
This product, like their whole range, comes in a nice green bottle which is funky and slim and fits easily in your caddy. The product itself is clear and works really well with a shower puff. It doesn't have much of a scent which was different but it definitely made me feel nice and clean afterwards. The range all have a pump applicator but the shower gel has a cap, I would prefer it to have a pump top like the rest of the range for easier application. Otherwise, nice product, does what it says.
Tips: Apply to shower puff for best results
