I can never go to bed with a face full of make up so needed to find an effective makeup remover that was convenient and worked well.....enter Neutrogena Cleansing Towelettes! Despite the price for them I find that they work extremely well and I love the fact that they are alcohol free which with other towelettes the alcohol in them plays havoc on my sensitive skin!!! I love the simple packaging in pastel purple which is uber girly and fits nicely in my bag. I wouldn't be without them everywhere I go.

I love the Neutrogena Cleansing Towelettes. Very handy to have for cleansing the makeup off every night especially if you have had a late night or a long day. Great for little touch ups or to wipe off any smudged makeup.
The packaging is simple and the fragrance of each wipe is subtle, easy to pull each wipe without a struggle. Friendly for use on the sensitive eye area and sensitive skin as it is alcohol free.
Although a little pricey overall the wipes are handy to have in your handbag or in your office draw as you may not use them everyday. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.
Tips: Keep in your handbag, Bathroom, Car glovebox!
If I'm in the supermarket needing skincare or makeup remover products, Neutrogena is my go-to brand. They have a wide selection of products and are gentle for my sensitive skin.
I have been using Neutrogena makeup wipes for many years. Why? Because they just seem to do the job better than most other makeup remover wipe (except for my other newly founded holy grail Swispers Pomegranate wipes -which I also love)
The packaging is stylish, yet simple -which is distinctive of the Neutrogena brand.
Now to the most important part, they are just so effective. The wipes seem to be always quite wet in comparison to some other wipes I've tried. They work so well to remove all traces of my makeup, with only some gentle swiping of the wipe over all parts of your face.
Some wipes can sting your eyes and irritate your face, but not these! My skin loves these wipes and they are gentle on my face.
What I love about these is that they definitely do what they say they do, removing all traces of makeup.
The only downside is the price, they used to be slightly cheaper, but the price just seems to be rising! So although I do love these wipes I now buy Swispers pomegranate wipes as well, as they are only $5 from the warehouse. However, when these are only sale I definitely stock up.
Would definitely recommend these wipes. So fantastic for sensitive skin, and great for when you are in a hurry to remove your makeup.
I've been using these wipes for over a month. The remove all traces of my makeup including waterproof mascara. I've found my skin is a lot clearer since cleansing my fCe at night. I've also had less breakouts. I love these and will keep using them!
I have been searching for a while for an effective cleanser so decided to try the Neutrogena wipes in between purchases. They are expensive for what you get so I wouldn't recommend using them on a regular basis in place of a cleanser but would use them if I was going away or on holiday. On opening the pack the wipes were not too dry which has happened to me previously and they had a lovely clean smell which was pleasant (very light). The wipes were effective but even though I wear make up lightly I still found myself using two to remove the make up properly, so went though them in a super quick time. Yes they were good, and they were effective but expensive and I probably would only use them if we were going away and I did not want to carry too much with me.
Tips: Make sure they are properly sealed or they dry up quickly.
I've been using these for about 12 months and find them perfect. They remove all of my makeup, including eye makeup. Unless I'm wearing VERY heavy makeup, I can get it all off with using just one wipe. They don't dry out my skin, and the wipes themselves are nice and moist.
Tips: Close the seal properly after each use or you risk them drying out (though even if it happens it is just the top wipes). Be careful of this especially when they are getting low.
I had run out (yeah I know bad management on my part) of my normal make up removing wipes that I normally purchase off of iherb so I had to resort to purchasing some to tide me over from the supermarket during my weekly shop. Having a look over the different brands available and trying the majority of them I settled that the Neutrogena ones must be good to be the most expensive of the lot surely? so into the trolley they went, it doesn't count when it's part of the groceries right?
So after a day of wearing full foundation makeup with waterproof eye makeup I tore into the packet to remove it all before my normal facial cleansing. Opening it up I must say that the quality of the packaging and reseal tab is good, its the saving grace of the product to be honest, its robust and keeps the pack fresh effortlessly. Its also understated chic and simple in its blue tone.
25 wipes in total are held within the blue packet, each one of them felt under saturated in product, which meant that a little more rubbing was required to get the waterproof mascara and eyeliner off. Firstly it took off my foundation and powder easily, even my Velvetine went off without a fight.
Then came the eyes, it dragged slightly causing my mascara and eyeliner to smudge around my whole eye area into a panda mask. 4 wipes later and nearly all traces of the makeup was gone, but add on the 2 wipes used for my face and lips (I don't have a very big face surface to remove from either!) that was a total of 6 wipes to get back to nude skin. Doing the maths that is 4 days worth of removal for a hefty price tag of $15 so that would need 2 packs for a full week! thankfully my normal packs arrived 2 days later so I had no need to grab another make do pack.
On the plus side it didn't aggravate my skin or cause any breakouts but then I do use a facial cleanser/wash afterwards so no traces of the wipes reside would have been left on my skin to cause any reactions.
I honestly didn't know what miracle I was expecting these wipes to perform being 3 times the price of some others on the market but I was left disappointed.
I tend to trust Neutrogena as the products that I have used from them in the past have worked well for my skin, so this is why I chose these wipes even though they were a bit more expensive.
The packet worked really well and had a great seal which I was happy with. When I used it for thr first time I had an average amount of makeup on, foundation, powder, mascara, eyeliner and eyeshadow. The wipe was nice and refreshing and had a nice smell to it. I Began to wipe off my makeup and it all went well, however it took a bit more effort to get the mascara and eyeliner off but for me that is expected.
I only needed to use one wipe total to remove all of my makeup. However once all of the makeup was off my skin was left feeling a little oily, thinthis dried in a few minutes but this made me think about what my skin is really absorbing. On the bonus side as my skin is rather sensitive I had no reaction at all and my skin felt fine the next day.
I've given up on using facial wipes, because I find them not to be as effective as proper cleansing. But, if I had to go camping for a week and didn't have running water, I would probably purchase a pack. And these were the wipes I most preferred, back in those wipe-using days.
My favourite feature is the packaging; the seal is really good, and keeps the moisture in. But, if you're not using them every day, I did find the last few in the pack dried out a bit.
In terms of performance, they did the trick at removing foundation and eyeshadow; waterproof products like mascara and eyeliner were a little harder to budge, and you'd get a small amount of lash fall, but nothing too dramatic.
These are great for those nights when you get home really really late, and can think of nothing more than climbing into bed, and you don't want to wake the whole household by pottering around in the bathroom. Ideal if you've had a few wines too, haha.
These are my all time favourite make up remover wipe. I find that they are great for around the eye use and don't irritate my eyes at all. They remove all of my waterproof eye liner and mascara and they can even remove my Double Wear foundation. I find that they don't irritate my skin or cause break outs.
The other best thing is that I have white pillow cases and I never have and make up marks on my pillows after using these.
I have sensitive eyes and sometimes wear contact lenses and I have no problems using these.
The packaging is simple and effective and I love the light colour of it. I find that I get one out at a time and the opening doesn't clog up like some others do.
Tips: Make sure you close the top after using them so that they don't dry out.
