I have been using this for about a month now, and to be perfectly honest, I have not noticed any change in my under eye area. In fact sometimes it seems to look worse, especially after applying my concealer. The eye wrinkles that I have under my eyes seem to look more prominent after using this.
I even decided to only use this at night time to see if it made any difference, but unfortunately I seemed to wake up and look worse than I did when I went to bed. Could be from lack of sleep however, but perhaps using this product was part of the cause.
I will be using it until it's all gone, but will not repurchase!
This is my favourite product from the Neutrogena Hydro Boost range. It is described as an 'eye roll-on' which is essentially an eye cream/gel with a roll-on applicator that can be used morning and night. Previously I had been using the Clarins Eye Gel which makes similar claims of targeting puffiness and dark circles, but comes with a $60 price tag. I found the two products very similar in terms of the results, however the Neutrogena Eye Roll-On is more refreshing, quicker to use and comes with a pretty little price tag of $24.99.
Immediately after using the Neutrogena Eye Roll-On I felt refreshed and hydrated. I regularly suffer from hayfever so my eye area is often irritated. This, combined with staring at computer screens and long days at work leaves my eyes feeling heavy and tired, even when my body is wide awake. The Neutrogena Eye-Roll on provides an instant boost of cool, refreshing hydration that is quick to apply and hydrates for hours afterward. Because of the quick, mess free application I have even snuck a few added applications in the late afternoon. This added moisture has left my eye area less puffy in the mornings, through a combined application of before bed and after my morning shower. The product doesn't leave a heavy residue so I can apply my makeup immediately afterwards.
Other than being refreshing, lovely to use and slightly reducing puffiness, this product doesn't do a whole lot else. I didn't see a significant difference in dark circles and this product makes no anti-aging claims (however hydration is obviously number one for preventing fine lines and wrinkles). But for myself, this is all I need. I'm 20 years old so I am not looking for a heavy anti-aging eye cream, and dark circles are not an issue for me. I will continue to use this product day and night, particularly over summer. For those who are using a more expensive, heavy duty eye cream at night, this would be a great addition to your morning routine.
Tips: For those who are on computers or suffer from hay fever or tired eyes, carry this in your handbag for a quick pick me up.
