Love love love this product. I have very dry sensitive skin so was rather anxious to try this product. I have used twice a day for 8 days now and have had nothing but great results. My skin is more hydrated and feels so much smoother. Only let down for this product is no SPF in there for sun protection. Would defiantly use again

Tips: Not a good base for makeup as skin absorbs so quick so make sure you use a primer
Finally I think I have found a product that combats my dry skin! As soon as I put it onto my freshly cleansed skin it just sank it. It wasn't greasy or oily but instantly felt my skins moisture levels had doubled! After a few hours my skin felt even more moisturized (Like it states). It is also a fantastic base for my make up as I felt my make up lasted longer with this as a base.
Tips: Apply in the morning after cleansing and enjoy moisture filled skin all day long (:
Light texture and has a cooling sensation upon application. I applied a generous amount since it's not too rich/pore clogging it gets absorbed super quickly with my dehydrated face. Soaks it all up, I recommend people with dehydrated skin to use it for hydration. Reasonable price for the product would recommend to a friend if they had dry skin.
The consistency is a very thin, wet, slick feeling which is different to many moisturizers. However this does not make it feel greasy or oily at all on your face which is surprising. A little goes a long way as of this which is great. I found it to be hydrating all day - lasting a good 15 hours. Very good product thus far (nearly 2 weeks use)
Tips: Make sure your face is towel dry before application.
I was stoked when I got one of these as part of the trial team. My skin is combo in the sense I get intense oilyness in my T-zone but my cheeks always have dry flaky patches. I've used this every day since I received about 10 days ago and I love how it makes my skin feel. It's very silky to put on your skin, and the gel absorbs very quickly, making it a good base for foundation. Since using this, I haven't noticed any dry patches appearing under my foundation :) I would definetley keep using it! Also I love the packaging, it's very sleek.
I was stoked to be chosen to be part of this trial team as I have noticed my skin drying out and looking duller as I age. I always go into these reviews with an open mind, and oh my goodness, I love this product. My first impression was the packaging, it looks great and much more high-end than I expected. Once I opened the jar, the smell is not overpowering and is a pleasant scent. The lightweight formula of the product was absorbed really quickly into my skin and I noticed a difference in the softness of my skin after just an hour. Being so lightweight means you don't need to use much product, so it will last for a long time It also makes it super easy to apply. Would I recommend it to a friend? Yes I would. In fact, I will be trying this on my 11 year olds skin tonight.
Feels nice, has a silky, cool, refreshing feel - not greasy at all and makes your skin feel soft. However, my face started to break out after a few days so stopped using it on my face and thought may as well try it on my legs. Usually normal moisturiser disappears after a couple of hours and my legs are left looking dry again. Using this stuff on my legs - they didn't dry out all day! So, at the end of the day, would I buy it for my face? No, I'll stick to the one I'm using now which doesn't make me break out like a high school kid, but if they have a body moisturiser I would seriously consider buying it.
I have been a long time sufferer of oily combination skin. At the end of most days my T zone around my nose and under my lip are oily and create a sheen which can be quite unflattering. As one of the people selected for the trial, I was rather excited to try this product out. The product came in a typical Neutrogena box which didn't really allude me to how magical this product was. On opening the box, I discovered a sleek and attractive package inside. The colour of the container made me instantly think about water. The fragrance had a fresh and clean smell to it, although I think most Neutrogena facial products carry this fragrance. The texture of the product is gel like with a thin consistency allowing easy application to the face and neck. It absorbs quickly making it a really time efficient product to use so I could quickly throw some makeup on top. There is no sticky feeling leaving the face feel smooth and really soft. This makes applying makeup a breeze. The product left my skin feeling hydrated all day didn't give me a horrible oily t zone. My skin is also quite sensitive from being on acne medication for most of my teenage life. This product was calming and sensitive to my face. The only one let down would be that it does not have an SPF component in it. I have seen that other Hydro Boost products do have a SPF in them which I will be trying next.
Tips: Only a finger amount is needed for your whole face. Wait until it dries to apply anymore as it spreads easily. This product was great after getting my face burnt a few days ago. It has stopped my nose from peeling so I will be using this after a day in the sun.
I have to admit, first off, that I haven't used Neutrogena products for years and have been negative about them, so it's fair to say I wasn't expecting much. Whether that means I'm unduly pleasantly-surprised or unduly looking-for-reasons-to-keep-hating-Neutrogena, I really couldn't tell you.
I used the Boost in place of my normal day moisturiser, and have used it for about 10 days now.
Immediate feel of it worried me - my skin felt quite 'tight' - as it does after astringent/toner. However, actually touching my skin was an OMG moment - it hasn't felt that truly soft in years.
NB: I'm pretty sure the box said 'apply liberally' and I have been doing that - I wouldn't want to use my normal amount of moisturiser with this product.
Under make-up (I do use primer as well) it worked as well as pricier moisturisers.
The only other 'negative' is, as far as I can tell, there's no SPF - which would make this a no-go for me over summer, which is a pity because I think that's when it would feel/work best.
I have been using this product twice a day for the last 10 days and I was more than a little disappointed with this particular product. To start with the positives, it is a very light gel and when I first apply it I find it to have a very soothing feel. It is very light and absorbs into the skin quite quickly. I have sensitive skin and this product didn't effect my skin at all which is great. It doesn't have an overpowering fragrance - just a nice light one. The thing I was not very happy with was the claim of hydration. I didn't notice any change in my skin at all and I did follow the instructions to apply it liberally. The other thing was that once it absorbed it didn't seem to leave a smooth layer that most creams do which makes the application of makeup easier. Not that I am talking about a greasy layer but a fine amount that smoothes the way for foundation. This product just seemed to absorb and that was it. The price also seems high, although if it hydrated the skin as it claimed then I would say it would be worth it. I was unhappy that this didn't live up to the majority of its claims as being an older person it would be great if it did. The reason I gave it 2/5 points for 'doing what it said it would' was the fact that it was a light gel and was obviously 'allergy tested'. Sorry but I wouldn't recommend it.
