Neutrogena Naturals Fresh Cleaning + Makeup Remover

I have tried the normal Neutrogena that is full of chemicals and also promises to be a makeup remover as well as a cleanser. I used this for awhile but found my skin needed some tender loving care with no harsh chemicals in it. That is when I found the'naturals' variety of Neutrogena skincare.

The bottle is very earthy looking but simple. It takes away all those flashy appearances and just sticks to the must knows. I love the rustic look personally so the look definitely appealed to me. The bottle is quite square in shape and has a pump top to make distributing the product easier and with less mess. The liquid is a creamy colour and creamy in consistency. It smells far less chemical like which I love. It's more subtle and pleasant.

I wet my face with warm water and use just one full pump of product in circular motions on my entire face. The makeup I wear is dark brown brow pomade and black mascara so of course you would think it would take some harsh rubbing to get it off. To the contrary. My makeup came off like water based paint...almost instantly. My hands did end up with black and brown remnants on them but in my opinion IT WORKS!! I wash it off using a warm flannel. My face is left fresh and thoroughly cleansed.

It does have the tendency to leave my skin slightly dry and squeaky which I find irritating but it comes with the territory of wearing makeup and having to wash it off I guess. I just follow up with a regime to help combat that. In summary it is my fave makeup remover yet. It leaves my skin fresh and clean without the harsh chemicals and doesn't make my dry patches sting. I am all for it.

All the love for this product. I originally came across it because my mum gave it to me thinking I would get better use of it than she would, and I use it literally every day.

The product has a lovely but not overbearing fragrance which is very fruity and earthy without being too much. The texture is a silky and washes up to a lather really quickly. It effectively removes all of my mascara, eyeliner, lipstick, and other makeup items that can be nightmarish to remove super easily within minutes, and it doesn't at all irritate my sensitive eyes. It's really cheap, made with beautiful ingredients, isn't harsh at all, and is a staple in my face-care routine and will be for a long time to come.

I really highly recommend this product.

I thought I'd give this a try after using other Neutrogena cleansers, wipes and lotions in the past. The fact that this was a Neutrogena Naturals truly caught my eye the most. It claims to remove all makeup and leave skin fully clean and refreshed. It did not do either of those things, makeup lingered well after washing my face 2 times with this product. It also dried my sensative skin out and almost felt as if it stripped EVERYTHING from my face. For those reasons I will not repurchase this and would not recommend this product either

This cleanser was quite drying on my skin. They have changed the formulation and is not as good as it used to be. I think it was around when they changed the packing also. Prefer the milky version.
