Neutrogena Naturals Fresh Cleaning + Makeup Remover

I was hoping the all natural product s would be my amazing cure for acne but it didn't work out. The cleanser didn't remove all of my make up. I would have to scrub with a face cloth afterwards. It smells great and the packaging feels all natural, but if it ain't taking off my make up, it ain't for me!

I was given this product as a gift. I like the pump bottle that makes for easy using in the shower. The product has a nice texture and a little goes a long way. I find it easy to use and my face always feels fresh and clean. My face also doesn't get tight feeling as it does with other products. I have never actually used it to remove makeup so cant comment on this claim of the product. Reading other reviews, I am glad I haven't got it in my eyes!!

Its a good price and I like that it can be bought at the supermarket. I am far to busy to make special trips to shops to buy products!!

I purchased this from my local supermarket as I had run out of makeup remover to use before my clay cleanser. I really like the pump bottle packaging, so handy for in the shower. Unfortunately that’s probably about all I like. It is a thick formula that takes quite a while to work up a lather so I felt like I was just smearing my makeup around for a while. I didn’t like the fragrance and occasionally it does sting around my eyes if I am having a “sensitive skin day”. It did wash off my makeup ok but not that great around the eyes but I do mostly wear waterproof mascara. I have persevered and almost finished the bottle but all up I think there is a better make up remover product for my combination skin so will keep looking.

This product was a great make-up remover, but it didn't leave my face feeling fresh after using it, in fact it always felt a bit tight. I really liked the smell, and it lathered up quite nicely on my face. Overall, not a bad product, and a great general make-up remover, but I'll be keeping my eye out for a different one next time as well.

I tried this product for a few days, about a year ago. I broke out in a reaction all over my face for about a week afterwards. I haven't used it again. I passed it on to a sister, who also had problems (though we both have sensitive skin). She passed it on to another sister who had quite oily skin and she found it fine. If you have sensitive skin at all, I'd recommend steering clear of this one. The packaging and marketing lead me to think it should be gentle and suitable for my skin but unfortunately it didn't work with my skin.

I was really disappointed with this I won’t lie. I purchased it for the sole reason of the sales lady telling me that it was a really good makeup remover, as that was what I was looking for.

First thing first, the pump worked fine the first couple of times, but the third time I went to use it, no matter what I did, the pump would not work! No one had touched it, it hadn’t dropped, nothing, and the pump decides it hates me and it’s not going to work. So I have resorted to having to open the bottle every time and slide some on my hand from the little tube!

It’s a thick white cleanser, that has a mild, fresh scent to it. It is relatively hard to spread or to work with and you do need quite a bit of water to get it to lather up. I did notice that it is unlike most makeup removers I’ve used, in that it requires you to have a wet face and wet hands. I don’t like this process, as it spreads my makeup into my eyes when wetting the face before putting on the cleanser.

I do like that it is all natural and designed for sensitive skin. I don’t care for the packaging what so ever. They should really make it more appealing!

While it does a good job of removing face makeup like foundation etc. etc. it needs more scrubbing for the eye makeup. I end up have to do a bit of scrubbing and even then, I have to wash my eyes twice so that I’m not left with panda eyes. Thanks to BR I’ve learnt that scrubbing the eye are is not good and creates more lines and wrinkles, so I’ve stopped using this on my eyes, and went out and purchased another one for my eye area. Also be warned that this stuff is violent if it gets inside the eyes. I sometimes get it in my eyes through the corners or in between my lashes and the burn is unlike what I’ve felt before. I also find that it takes quite a bit of effort to wash it out, so not impressed! I also find that after all the product is removed, my vision is a bit blurry for a few seconds.

I have very oily skin, and after I’ve used this, my skin is so so so so so incredibly dry! I’m talking flaky flaky dry, and I have to make sure I put on oil or moisturiser, whereas I would normally skip this step all together.

As I said, really disappointed with this stuff!

This is my favourite facial cleanser that I've tried. It works to remove most, but not all of my makeup, unfortunately I still leaves a small amount mascara on and under my eyes. It leaves my skin feeling clean without leaving it dry.

I bought this product via the last beauty vault as I always wanted to try it but couldn't justify the cost to myself when there were cheaper alternatives in the supermarket. However, now that I have tried it I think it is well worth the price. It works really well on my skin, cleanses without irritation and leaves my skin feeeling really soft without the greasy leftover feeling that some cleansers have. The scent is mild but nice and the pump bottle handy to use.
