I was on an outing with my mumma and I saw this. It was on sale and I couldn't help myself because I love sheet masks, they're bloody delightful!
I love that this is a gel sheet mask rather than a papery sheet mask. The gel like feeling of the mask just feels so much more high end and luxurious rather than the piddly, almost fragile paper sheet masks. And yes I realize they're not paper, but it's the only thing my brain can think of to describe normal sheet masks haha.
The smell is kinda weird, it almost has no smell but then I feel like it smells like the cheap 5 packs of soap for $1, and it's quite off putting.
The mask came in two different bits, a top and a bottom, and I slapped em on my face. They weren't overly drippy but I did put what was left in the pack on my neck so that could have some lovin' too. I left it on until the mask felt dry and took it off just as easy as I put it on.
Results were alright, about the same that I get with other sheet masks. My skin felt soft but by the next day it was only a little bit soft, rather than baby smooth and happy.
It's an okay mask but I've had better, so I wouldn't buy them again.
I had high hopes for these sheet masks, I'd been recently told my skin was dehydrated so these hydrating masks seemed like a good option. I bought two boxes as they were on sale at The Warehouse. On the back of the packaging it says the hydro boost masks are more hydrating than the hydro boost serum so seemed like a winner. The sheet masks themselves are very moist, easy to unfold and easy to apply - no liquid dripping all over the place which is good - sheet masks are meant to be clean and easy not sloppy all over the place. There was only a very subtle fragrance. I didn't find the fit of the mask overly great - I constantly keep smoothing the mask to keep it flat and fitted, the bit between my lip and nose was just a tiny strip. After leaving for 15 mins my skin looks nice and smooth. I don't find the hydration is long lasting, I could easily use one every night. Once I accidentally fell asleep with one on and woke up in the morning not knowing how long I left it on- but my skin felt smooth for days! Oops. These work out, using the rrp, at $5 each which is reasonable. Overall they weren't bad but I think I have used better chemist ones for a similar price. I was expecting the neutrogena name to bring great results, but alas it was not so. If they were on sale I'd get them as I like sheet masks but at full price I'd have to think about it.
