Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Anti Ageing Review

Bring it on, I thought, when I was selected for this the trial of this product. I've tried a few BB creams and had been impressed with the latest product I was using, so the Garnier anti-ageing version presented a good challenge. I should have opted for Light because Medium is a little too yellowy/dark, however I could live with that, and so the trial began. I thought the cream was a but clumpy and it took some working in with the foundation brush but it proved to be good coverage, not too shiny and worked with my blusher and other make up. Yes, it lasted well all day, didn't "slide" off my face as do some foundations. I always cleanse very thoroughly and apply night cream. A few days use and I'm seeing it quite positively, not sure about "instantly flawless" or firming though a good lasting coverage. Then I noticed the colouring on my white pillow case so I paid more attention to cleansing and then this morning decided to have a bath and enjoy a facial steam clean. Wow, even more colouring came off on the facecloth - no, I don't use soap on my face! Not impressed with this at all. I'm a make up girl and appreciate that not all products are pure and natural, though take a look at the ingredients in this product. Not for me this time and back to my multi-targeted BB cream which ticks more boxes. I've given my make up brush a good wash and am off to clean the bath and put the pillow case in to soak.

I was suprised by the creamy mousse feel of this product, not like a liquid foundation at all.

I didn't really notice a reduction in the look of my fine lines, but it felt nice - not thick or dry - and the fragrance was pleasant also.

I found the shade options limiting, I am usually Revlon Colourstay sand beige, or Revlon Age defying tender beige, so I would be Light in this product.

As my skin is rather dry, I felt that a moisturiser under the foundation was better for me.

Certainly is a good product for the price.

I prefer more coverage that this product gives, and would therefore not use this everyday, but with the sunscreen in this product I would certainly use it on no make-up days, gardening, beach etc.

I hadn't used a BB cream before, (never even heard of them) so I was excited to try this.The coverage is amazing - better than my usual foundation. If you're looking for a something to hide blemishes,freckles etc,this would be good to use. I used hands to put it on and it does leave quite a residue on them. The finish is a little 'sticky' and feels sticky for quite some time after applying. I didn't really care for the fragrance. it's isn't awful, but I didn't think it was overly pleasant either. amazing value for money though if it's less than $20 and does the job of a combined moisturizer and foundation. Absolute bargain for the price. I didn't notice any reduction in my lines/wrinkles no more than any other foundation has done anyway. It stays on all day though - I didn't have to retouch it, and the coverage remained good throughout the day. I would recommend to a friend - especially at that price.

This is quite a good BB cream for the price. I dont tend to like Supermarket Brands, but this cream delivered on quite a lot of what it said it would do. It provided enough coverage on a day when i didnt want to wear make-up and also doesnt feel heavy and greasy under my make-up when I do wear it. My face is nice and soft and stays that way for most of the day and is nice and hydrated. Wish the SPF was higher but a good little cream overall

Wow, I seriously love this BB cream and it will always be in my collection. it goes on very evenly, looks natural and feels good. I love the way that I don't feel the need to apply a moisturiser before using, like I have had to do with other BB creams.

As with most Garnier BB creams, this went on smoothly and without too much fuss, the formula was thick and creamy and provided decent coverage when applied with a sponge. While it did not leave my oil prone skin too greasy after application I did find that by the end of the day the finish left me quite dewy despite havIng applied powder. The product is lightly flowery fragranced but no overpowering. With regards to the anti ageing effects, I did find a small improvement in fine lines however would need to trial it over a longer period of time to provide more accurate opinions. I only needed a small amount in order to get fairly good coverage and believe the tube will last. I found the BB cream is relatively good value for money in comparison to others on the market especially for the volume. The packaging is pleasant to look at, and a handy size to put I'm your handbag or makeup bag. Overall I enjoyed the product and will continue to use it to see the anti ageing effects! I would recommend to those without oily skin as I think the dewyness was as a result of my skin as opposed to the product.

I've always been skeptical about tinted moisturisers and the like, but was looking for something I could use on weekends just to even out skin tone without having to layer on the makeup I do during the working week and this product fits the bill. Easy to apply with a nice fragrance and it does enough to lift my appearance without feeling or looking like I've got makeup on. I would definitely recommend this to other people.

I am finding the BB cream to be a wonderful product. It is easy to apply, I use my fingers and the coverage is great. I work behind a bar and was wondering if it would last for a whole shift as it gets very hot and I work with steam too, but it lasts for my whole shift and is very easy to get off before bed. At first use I thought it felt a little thick for me, but as I spread it over my face I realised that it is quite a light cream and goes to a matt finish for me. It blends with my skin tone really well and the end result is very natural looking. I must say I was sceptical about it being able to do all it said in the way of reducing wrinkles, firming skin, evening and illuminating skin, correcting blemishes and all the while keeping the skin hydrated. Well blow me down.........it is doing all that for me and I love it. My skin no longer has a dull look, and is really firming up round the eyes especially but an all-over healthier look to it. My lines and wrinkles are starting to look less and less which I love, and I look younger round the eyes. My skin is so soft to touch now, I love the feel of it and believe that it's down to the 24hr hydrating the cream gives. My work colleagues have noticed the difference, and one even said "Mandy, you are looking very pretty tonight", and that was the first night I used it :D I will definately be buying it once this tube is gone.

This product would be very beneficial to someone who wants to minimize their use of foundation as they age.

The product gives great coverage and is not heavy at all and gives a very light feeling on your skin and smells fresh. I enjoy using a product that has a pleasant smell that isn't to overpowering, so good on you garnier.

I would recommend this product as it didn't feel sticky when I applied it onto my skin, usually I have trouble where products feel icky and sticky when I put them on so I end up wiping the product off.

The packaging was simple and stated what the product was and what it achieved yet you would still be drawn to it.

Also it retails at a great price and will last you a long time.
