I was given a pot of this. I'm really happy with spf creams as I'm a sunscreen nut. The texture is thicker than a gel but it's still really light, like borderline between a lotion and cream. Once applied it sinks right into my skin and absorbs pretty quickly. I normally have combination skin but with the onset of winter my skin has gotten much drier. This moisturizer provides a bit of hydration but it still feels really light on the skin. On days when my skin is really feeling dry I have to apply another layer which is probably a good thing since you're supposed to apply plenty of spf right? The scent is the light signature Nivea scent. Now for the cons. The minute I apply this and the lovely feel of my skin getting hydrated is ruined by my eyes stinging and watering and it's not like I didn't follow the instructions and applied this to my eye area. Stinging eyes are a big con for me, especially since there are other spf moisturizers for about the same price, like my favorite Oasis spf moisturizers that I can actually apply to my eye area (even though it isn't recommended for your eye area) and they don't sting. The other con for me is that it only carries an spf of 15, which is the minimum and I prefer a higher spf. The ingredients are water, glycerin, ethylhexyl salicylate, cetearyl alcohol, dimethicone, alcohol denat, glyceryl stearate SE, butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane, methylpropanediol, octocrylene, polymethlsilsesquioxane, shea butter, cetyl alcohol, ethylhexyl stearate, sodium phenylbenzimidazole sulfonate, magnolia extract, creatine, 1-methylhydantoin-2-Imide, hylauronic acid, tapioca starch, xanthan gum, acrylates/C10-30 aclkyl acrylate crosspolymer, trisodium edta, ethylhexylglycerin, phenoxyethanol, limonene, linalool, citronellol, benzyl alcohol, geraniol, alpha-isomethyllonone and parfum. So while those it does advertise some really good active ingredients, the good stuff is really buffered with a bunch of cheaper silicones and fillers so it's unlikely to do anything much long term for me anyways. Lastly, just a personal preference, I prefer a tube or pump to a pot because it's more sanitary. So when this finishes I probably won't be repurchasing.

Tips: Don't throw out spf mosturizers if they don't work for your face -show your body some spf love.
Nice simple jar, easy to go all the contents out. Light non invasive scent . Feels soo soft and silky on my skin , velvety mmmmm. Not heavy or greasy , non of that clogged feeling. Not sure if many wrinkles lessened (don't study them often lol) but not seeing any new ones, so that's a win :)
Tips: use both the day and night cream
I got this product from the vault before last. I had seen it around was keen to try it. I’ve been using Nivea products for many years and find them reliable and relatively unchanging over time.
It is quite economical and can be purchased from New World.
It comes in a lovely 50 ml pot, although I was surprised to find the pot was half the size of the box it came in! The pot is white with the Nivea branding and has a silver lid with white on the top. The packaging makes it look like a more classy and expensive product.
On opening the screw top, the recogniseable aroma of Nivea greets your nose. Although quite mild, it is stronger than the aroma of the soft moisturising cream.
The texture of the product is soft and creamy and absorbs very quickly into the skin. My skin feels soft and nice after the product has absorbed.
The product claims are that with regular use, this formula accelerates skin’s own skin cell renewal – an indicator of cellular vitality and youthful skin. The SPF 15 UVB + UVA protection system helps to protect skin from UV-induced ageing, cell damage and age spots. The rich texture softly melts into the skin and is quickly absorbed, providing an immediate sensation of comfort and care. I love that it has SPF 15 to help reduce sun damage. It does have a rich texture that softy melts into skin and is quickly absorbed.
It says the results on skin will be: wrinkles are visibly reduced, noticeably firmer skin and faster skin renewal, skin is replenished with intense moisture, skin feels smooth and silky. I haven’t noticed a reduction in wrinkles to date or firmer skin, but my skin feels moist and smooth and silky after using it, so it certainly does meet some of its claims.
I would probably use it again, and recommend it to others to try. I think it is a good product for the price.
I was lucky enough to get this product for free from the last beauty vault and I'm happy that I didn't pay 28.00 for it. In fairness it is a nice enough cream, it has the traditional clean Nivea fragrance (which I like) and has a nice creamy consistency. The cream itself offers a little sun protection (SPF15) and does provide a decent amount of hydration. I find the cream absorbs nicely into my skin but does leave a slight sticky residue. I have naturally dry, sensitive eczema prone skin and find this cream to be fine on it unless I am going through an awful eczema flare up where my skin is broken then this cream does sting slightly.
This cream has it's good points but as far as the anti-aging claim I have to say that it is just not true. This cream didn't improve my skin texture nor did it reduce any existing wrinkles. I picked it up from the vault because of the anti-aging claims and sadly it just didn't deliver. It is a nice enough cream but it is not different from any other Nivea cream. I personally think it is over priced as it only really provides moisture to the skin.
Sexy packaging, distinctive Nivea smell, and easy to use screw jar, which is good for scraping out the last of the cream when it nears the end. The cream is smooth and applies easily, non-greasy and leaves the skin feeling fresh and supple. I have a dry, 42 year old skin, which has responded well to 2 weeks use. I had a comment about how fresh I looked the other day! Would definitely use again and will recommend to others.
As a regular user of NIVEA body cream, shower gel, Q10 night cream, and Q10 day cream, I was excited to try this newest addition to the family. While I initially didn't like the plastic pottle, I got used to it over the trial and the wider top made it easier to access. I found Cellular lighter than my usual NIVEA Q10 and my skin felt slightly dry during the day using Cellular. A lovely product but I'm not sure I will switch from NIVEA Q10 at this stage.
I got this one in the vault and I actually use it as night cream.
Smells amazing! Melts into my skin without being overly greasy or heavy.
I always wake up with super soft hydrated skin, a little oil but that's ok, because I use it at night.
I have oily sensitive skin and this does not irritate one bit.
I really think this one smooths out my skin , perhaps filling in any fine lines , keeping me looking maybe younger? I apply it very thickly and let the cream sink into my skin.
I like it, I'm all out I may repurchase, I don't know yet as I love trying new types.
Tips: Apply all over face, neck, chest hands and arms ;)
Ok so maybe I didn't want to go back that far, only about 10 years, but the fragrance, oh the fragrance! I loved it. I love that Nivea fragrance, i've used their Q10 over the years and its always been abit of a bug bearer of mine that they've strayed away from the traditional fragrance, well the good news is with this, they've strayed back. In general I loved it. My face felt hydrated, smoother and I felt my wrinkles were less evident. I've used it for 6 weeks but i'll be interested to know if I see a continued improvement once i've used it for longer. I think the price is affordable for an Anti Wrinkle products, you can buy it at the supermarket which is convenient for me, and I think my Q10 will be getting ditched in the future for this new baby!
Tips: Use it on your décolletage and the backs of your hands as well! They may as well all look the same age.
I was pleased to get the chance to have a go and trail this cream. For many years Nivea (in the blue tub) was a staple in my face care regime. Yep, before all the mainstream ‘posh’ stuff arrived with fancy ingredients. I used to love opening my tub and smelling that Nivea smell! Okay so let’s look at the claims first.. • Reduces fine lines and wrinkles – Not on me! • Improves skin's firmness and renewal – Not on me! I felt I went backwards here, as did my hubby • Skin is replenished with intense moisture – it was yummy when it first went on however the feeling did not last page 30 minutes. I need an all dayer • Leaves skin feeling smooth and silky – as above!
Well I worked with the cream for a full two weeks before having to reintroduce my rosehip oil. I’m not sure what is classed as ‘aging’ now haha or how old you have to be to have that ‘aging’ skin – I’m 45 with excellent skin which I out down to having been taught to use a good regime morning and night – Grandma and Mum insisted haha
I found the Nivea cream lacking for me – however I would and have already, recommend it to others who are just starting out on a good face regime – just reaching that age where they know they need to make adjustments. If used with the accompanying products I do believe it will do the trick.
Tips: Mix with a good rosehip oil for extra hydration
Am currently using this product, absolutely love everything about it apart from how my skin has not been absorbing the cream completely so my skin doesn’t feel like a ‘baby’s bottom’ but I’m saying so, I’ve been in lock down and haven’t really spent much time outside at all so that could be the reason as to why it’s not fully absorbing. I also have hyper sensitive skin, this day cream doesn’t irritate/hurt my skin at all which is amazing
Tips: I’d you have sensitive skin but normally clear, this cream will be good for you, especially with having spf in it
