This cleanser just did not remove my make up nor did it cleanse my face. I hadn't heard of this cleanser before but was in need of a new one and choose it off the supermarket shelf because I liked how it sounded and I liked the fact that it was a lotion which seemed to be more hydrating then drying. I will not re purchase, honestly just felt like I rubbed abit of moisturiser on my face and washed it off with my make up still in tact underneath. I have given it many tries now ith the same results. None. Thumbs down.

Tips: Not even worth the $11.99, give something else a try.
I've tried using this many times for the sake of using up the bottle but every time it went near my eyes it stung them. It was just too creamy and thick and I didn't feel it worked for me. I always had to use something else afterwards.
I have only used this about 3 times as it just doesnt fit the bill at all for me. It didnt do well at removing makeup, my face didnt feel clean, in fact it felt really greasy afterwards. I havnt used it long enough to see if it helps much with breakouts but i highly doubt it sine my skin doesnt even feel clean. Not going to use this, will just leave in the bathroom for guests to use if they want to.
The Nivea range hasnt really been to consistent for my liking, this product is quite heavy and kind of smears across my skin rather then applies smoothy, not really for me I aint a fan of the texture, I do think for the price it is understandible but I wouldnt buy again
Overall this is a lovely creamy milk-type cleanser which is great for dry skin types, has the usual lovely refreshing 'Nivea' fragrance to it. Does an ok job of cleansing if you wear next to no makeup but it doesn't do a good job of removing mascara or any eyeliner. I prefer cold creams to get a thorough clean without drying, and to remove makeup properly.
Tips: Use with a warm cloth for best results.
I love Nivea products they have always been part of my medicine cabinet for as long as I can remember but unfortunately this one disappointed me, It has the "Nivea" smell to it which I love
It is a creamy lotion which glides and emulisfies easily on the skin, and doesn't feel like its dragging.
Overall it is a good cleanser but I found it only removes minimal make up, it struggled and was very ineffective with my heavy professional foundation and also my gel liner, I was left looking like a panda even after 2-3 cleanses.
It did leave my skin feeling soft and moisturized, but due to my experience with non make up removal, I will not repurchase this product in the future.
.
Tips: Is great for a body wash in the shower.
I'm a fan of Nivea products, they are good quality and have a wide array of products that make your skin feel lovely at an affordable price. Therefore, I was very excited to try this cleanser and I was actually looking forward to cleansing my face at the end of the day! (That's the first time I've said that!)
The packaging is distinctly Nivea, simple and no-fuss with a tall bottle and a cap to dispense the product. The packaging suits it's simple and affordable product. It's so handy that this cleanser can be brought from the supermarket, with your weekly shopping.
As I open the packaging the first thing I think of is that the smell of this cleanser is devine, I will never tire of this classic Nivea smell! It smells so refreshing and calming. It has to one of my favourite smells for cleansers that's for sure.
The cleanser in itself is lotion-like, creamy, and the colour of milk. I use this by dispensing some into my hand and in circular motions I massage and distribute it over my face, to cleanse the foundation and makeup of my face. I then use water to remove the cleanser and wash my face clean.
The positive about this cleanser is it's so incredibly gentle, there's no tight feeling or eye stinging as I cleanse my face. After cleansing my skin feels so hydrated and so silky soft.
So, although it states its for normal skins, it's also great for dry, sensitive skins as well. My skin can be reactive to some products, but no irritation at all with this.
However, on the downside this formula doesn't seem to cleanse my face very well...possibly it's too gentle? It struggled to take off my mascara and eye makeup - this makeup didn't seem to budge at all using this cleanser, even after several attempts of cleansing. So, if you are like me and wear mascara/eye makeup everyday , you will have to use a separate eye makeup remover in conjunction with this.
Overall, it's a nice and gentle cleanser, but I probably wouldn't repurchase it in the future, as it doesn't tick all the boxes that I look for in a cleanser.
At the end of the day, when I'm ready to take off my makeup, I expect my cleanser to cleanse my face thoroughly and effectively, including removing my eye makeup. (Ideally, I want to use one product that just takes it all off, not a combination of a cleanser and also eye makeup remover). Therefore, I was rather disappointed the Nivea Daily Essentials lotion didn't really do the job I expected it to in cleansing my face.
Unfortunately, this isn't the cleanser for me, so I will be continuing in my search to find my holy grail cleanser!
Tips: This cleanser is probably suited to those of you who wear minimal makeup, as it doesn't do a good job of cleansing off long wearing foundation, or any eye makeup.
I found this product a bit too moisturizing for a cleanser. I have quite breakout-prone skin and so need a cleanser that sits in between moisturizing and drying, and I found this cleanser was more moisturizing. This would be great if you had dry skin, but not combination or oily skin. I used it in the shower in the morning so never tried it for removing makeup so not sure how good it would be on that front.
Tips: Would be good for someone with dry skin
Nivea cleanser
In the interest of being honest, I will admit I am not the biggest fan of Nivea. Call me a snob but usually I prefer higher end or Korean skincare, although you can get some amazing products from the supermarket. I got this and another Nivea product as they had a promo on at the time to get a free face brush.
The design on the bottle of this isn't anything amazing. It doesn't catch my eye but it isn't ugly, it is just kind of generic in my opinion. In fact, generic is the perfect word that encompasses all of my thoughts about this product. It isn't bad but it isn't good. It does cleanse your face but it isn't good as a makeup remover. My dry skin feels soft and smooth after using this and it doesn't feel dry.
The scent, however, puts me off this. In fact I really can't stand the smell of any Nivea product. I'm not sure why I dislike it but it doesn't agree with me,l so if you aren't a fan of the smell of Nivea products then skip this, as it does have a heavy smell.
Overall I wasn't wowed by this at all. I wouldn't repurchase it and because of the smell I won't even finish it, and will give this away to someone else who would enjoy using it.
This stuff is honestly quite bad. It not only did nothing to remove make up residue from my face after make up wipes but it also didn't clean my face one bit. It leave it with a sticky/creamy residue. Not really sure what he function of this product is but it did absolutely nothing and left my face feeling yuck. I would definitely not recommend this product despite the fact that I generally love Nivea.
