I think this is a product everyone just grabs at the supermarket or there family buys for them. I have to say it is very pearly and washes out my lips with a white pink colour and having naturally quite pinky red lips looks a bit trampy. It does make your lips smooth and I guess "protect" against dryness but it will not heal dryness. For the price and how easy it is to get I guess I would use it and recommend if you were out camping or somewhere travelling and wanted to grab something quickly.

Tips: Use sparingly
the cute little packaging was what caught my attention at first, i like how it left a soft pink tint on my lips, but i found that it didn't last long on my lips which left me applying it every 15 minutes or so not my fav lip gloss
I was caught by the packaging - looked really cute and handy to have it at the supermarket checkout
For me, I found it didn't glide on my lips that well - like it 'clumped' up at the cupids bow and the outer corners. As someone mentioned before, I felt it didn't feel like it moisturised my lips but I did get a glossy effect. I also found with my lip colour (more of a purple tone) it didn't look that good on my lips - I would need a lipstick underneath
this is a too hyped up I think. to me I found this lip balm to be very average and since then I have found other lip balms which are much better. also got strings in the corner of my mouth
Before I found my now favorite lip balm I tried this since I enjoyed using Nivea a body creams and wanted to give the lip balm a go. Mistake! I think the texture of a lip balm is one of the most important things and this one was awful. It felt really waxy to me, and not in a "im smothering your lips in an awesome healing way" but more of a "I'm a big fat layer of goop which will make you scrunch your lips until you take it off" kind of way. In addition to that I didnt find the smell or the colour that great either. It definitely had pearl tones but the overall look was quite chalky and pale.
Will not be buying this one again.
This balm leaves a very pretty sheen on your lips, but seems to work more as a gloss than a good lip moisturizer. I prefer invisible lip balms to this, it just doesnt feel like its getting the job done.
Tips: A nice cheap gloss colour
Nivea, such a trusted and reliable brand - I love to try all of the products that they bring out.
This lip moisturiser I brought a while ago, as the pretty, pastel pink packaging drew me in. I adore all things pink and its such a cute little lip moisturiser to pop in your bag for when you go out.
Just some background on my lips, they are generally rather dry and get cracked easily. Therefore, I need a lip moisturiser that is ultra hydrating and moisturising.
Unfortunately, this product is not for me..it's really not moisturising enough for my lips. It does give a lovely, pink sheen to my lips but does nothing in terms of hydration.
There are so many other products out there that are much more effective.
I much prefer the new lip butters that have come out from Nivea (especially the caramel flavoured one) , as they really seem to treat my dry lips and moisturise them well.
Overall, I was disappointed in this product and would not repurchase.
Love the shimmer it puts on but it's not really much of a lipbalm. It didn't moisturise my lips at all so I just ended up using this as a base under lipgloss for extra shine. The smell is great. and the packaging is super cute.
I had really high hopes for this one as I really am an old school Nivea fan (body and face Moisturisers /lip butter) and with the added bonus of pearl and shine I thought I would love this. Unfortunately this wasn’t a product I would buy again. I really don’t like having chapped lips it’s a major pet peeve for me – I run early mornings with my dog so out in the weather then especially over winter I have been in my car blasting the heat and then into an air conditioned office for the day so they take a bit of temperature change in a day and they are already on the dry side so I need something with really good hydration. I love the compact pink packaging, great size to chuck in your handbag. Unfortunately that’s about all I loved about this product. The Nivea lip care pearl and shine slicked over my lips it was very smooth and it did leave my lips with a nice pinky pearly shine but that’s about it. It didn’t hydrate my lips at all or fight any dryness and only lasted sort of half an hour before I felt like I would need to apply this again. By the end of the day my lips felt worse off than when I started, I need something that penetrates a bit more and provides a bit more hydration. Unfortunately for me this didn’t really do what it said it would do was a bit more of a gloss then a chapstick I think. I wouldn’t recommend this to a friend.
I've used this lip balm ever since High School and highly recommend it.
It has a beautiful pearl shine as well as moisturizing your lips -what more can you ask for :) This product leaves your lips feeling smooth and nourished :)
It is very easy to apply, much like a lipstick application it is applied to your lips the same way.
I found that a small amount is used to cover lips, leaving the product lasting you a reasonable period of time.
This product is priced great, very reasonable and can be purchased at supermarkets, pharmacies etc, so is easy to get your hands on!
I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a new lip balm, that wants results such as hydrated, moisturised lips that gives a gorgeous pink tint to them
Tips: A little goes a long way ;)
