It is pretty average. Moisturizes your lips at the time and applies smoothly and easily, but I feel like that feeling doesn't last long and you need to keep applying otherwise your lips will soon dry out...

I bought this on special from countdown when I was doing grocery shopping, I loved the package and seeing as I love most nivea products I thought I would give it a go.
The product is packaged nicely, it comes in a light pink/purple tube that is very secure and sturdy. You twist the tube to get more of the product.
The balm itself if very shimmery, like pearls, as that is the products name. I found that the shimmer did not suit me at all, plus I prefer matte or glossy... not shimmery! The colour came out light pink/purple on my lips. I didn't really like the colour, but then again, I'm not really a fan of coloured lip balm. Which I should have taken into account when buying this product, although, I didn't think the colour pay-off would be so pigmented. The lip balm moisturised my lips quite well but this did not last very long as it rubbed off quickly. I do have to say I prefer other lip balms over this. Just not for me!
I liked the colour and packaging of this lip balm, however I found it dried out quicker than I expected, even within minutes of application I could feel it drying out. The inital application however was very smooth and soft. The slight tint the lip balm gave my lips added very little colour or definition to them, which was ok from a lip balm. I was however hoping for more of a shine or glow from the product though.
I bought this when it was on special at the supermarket, I really like the colour of it and the design was cute but that's about it. It sort of just sits on your lips and to me felt like I had been eating greasy food and needed to clean my face. I wouldn't go out of my way to buy this again. I also noticed, if you don't clean your lips before you use it, it makes the dead/dry skin really obvious and looks terrible. It would be ok if you already have great moisturized lips, but if you get dry or chapped lips I wouldn't recommend it, it makes it so much more obvious
As with the other Nivea Lip care products Pearl and Shine it did everything it said in the description however I didn't think this colour suited me as much as the cranberry and strawberry which I still use every day.
this is my 2nd lip balm, nice colour and great for a natural days that you dont want to wear any makeup but still looks natural, its adds abit of shine to it but not smooth like a balm. need to use it every 2 hours before it drys out.
Tips: put some paw paw balm or vaseline before adding this product, it would last abit longe.
I found this product really did 'shine' perhaps a bit too much for my liking as an everyday lip balm. It does come in a nice twist-up stick and I felt it absorbed into my lips nourishing them nicely. However, it didn't give me the soft feeling described.
It is affordable & packaging is neat but it makes my lips so shiny and unnatural. It keeps my lips hydrated for the first couple of hours from applying it but that was it. you will always need to re-apply.
the cute little packaging was what caught my attention at first, i like how it left a soft pink tint on my lips, but i found that it didn't last long on my lips which left me applying it every 15 minutes or so not my fav lip gloss
despite the colour of this product being bright light pink, I still wear it to shimmer up my lips. It's very pretty and it's nice but for me the appeal is more the colour and not so much for reliable moisturising.
Tips: Great shimmering pink colour.
