So i was picked to review this, i was pretty excited to do so, i have very sensitive skin, and its usually super dry! OK, so the things i love about this: its made with 98% natural ingredients, which is great for sensitive skin! the bottle is made from 50% less plastic, so better for the environment, the bottle squeezes and can be rolled up so a lot less wastage. The moisturizer itself goes on really well, and once absorbed does leave the skin feeling fantastic and soft. But the 2 things i didn't like about it would possibly put me off buying it, i wasn't a fan of the smell, its not the nicest one i have ever smelt, the 2nd was when applying it, until the point where it was fully absorbed i felt greasy, its wasn't that pleasant.. I think ill have to use it more to make a full decision if i would buy it. Can i live with the greasy for the results, its quite possible!

Tips: A little goes a long way
In the winter my skin gets so dry and the NIVEA Naturally Good Organic Avocado & Hydration Body Lotion was exactly what I needed to bring some hydration back into my skin!
This lotion is really nourishing without feeling oily or heavy after being applied. I could slather this on my legs and slip into jeans a few minutes later without feeling sticky.
I love that this is full of beautiful natural ingredients, it is not heavily perfumed and it sinks nicely into the skin.
The packing is great too, it's a really soft plastic bottle so the product is easy to squeeze out and it can roll up when you reach the end so you get out every last drop. It's recyclable too which is another big tick.
This lotion is so good and it's accessible at supermarkets with a great price point. I would happily repurchase
I love it, love the fact its 98% natural ingredient, made my dry skin nice and hydrated. Soaked in easily unlike some which you really have to massage in. The smell is pleasant. I found the packaging a little weird it's like a soft plastic, they say its 50% less plastic which is a great initiative. Overall I'll definitely buy it again
Tips: You dont need a lot start with a small amount and add more if needed
This body lotion is beautiful and thick but in terms of its organic nature, I'm a little skeptical. The lotion is luxurious and creamy but is quite difficult to apply - you really have to work to rub it in! In saying that though, I think that's fairly common for more natural products. It smells fantastic and definitely kept my skin hydrated and feeling soft. You don't need to use too much otherwise you'll be standing there forever trying to rub it in. In terms of the packaging, I like that less plastic is used and that you can roll it up when it's getting low. As I said, in terms of its natural 98% naturally-derived ingredient claim, I'm a little skeptical because there's still a lot of other things in there that would make it less 'natural' like parfum/fragrance (which could be naturally derived I suppose, it doesn't state which elements are natural and not). I think if you were really into organic products, this wouldn't be the one for you, but I do like the creaminess and that Nivea is attempting to go greener so all in all, it's not a bad product.
Tips: Don't use too much It takes a bit of time to rub it all in
Nice and easy to use. I started using it every second day and unsure the hydration lasted that long, so I used it every morning from then and my legs kept nice hydrated. The packaging is a cool idea that you can roll up the bottle to make sure you get everything out once it starts running low, and love that it is sustainable as well. Probably isn't my favourite hydrating lotion but I would use it again and recommend to others. It is also nice and gentle on the skin which I find very helpful as I get quite sensitive skin
NIVEA body lotions and facial moisturisers have been my go to for years as they are, in my opinion the GOAT - supermarket budget friendly, effective and gentle on skin after shaving.
My current standard body lotion is the NIVEA Express Hydration for normal to dry skin and I'd noticed my legs in particular really showing the signs of winter the last couple of months - a combo of the temperature, not exfoliating and not moisturising enough.
NIVEA's Naturally Good Organic Avocado & Hydration Body Lotion for dry skin comes in a recyclable bottle which uses 50% less plastic and can be squeezed and rolled up! Much better for the planet than a solid plastic bottle with a pump.
I’m not sure what “avocado” translates as on the list of ingredients, however the product has a pleasant smell and was the white colour and exactly the lotion texture I anticipated from NIVEA.
I give it a little time to absorb before dressing, ensuring my skin is dry to the touch before pulling clothes on to prevent pesky white marks. My legs in particular love it and soak it in.
This trial has spurred me to moisturise my body twice per day after showering and to exfoliate more regularly and I'm definitely seeing the difference.
Tips: Exfoliate in the shower before applying for even absorption and improved Winter skin.
I absolutely love the packaging of this product. Not only does it look and feel good, it is beauty with a conscience with their use of 50% less plastic.
As soon as you hold the bottle you can smell the beautiful light, fresh fragrance. It’s subtle but divine, and will have you skin smelling lovely all day. The consistency is perfect. Not too thick, but not runny either. It glides onto your skin smoothly, and a little goes a long way.
As soon as you massage this lotion in your skin feels soft and supple, and that feeling doesn’t go away! This is one of the few lotions I have tried that doesn’t feel like my skin is weighted down or greasy from the product, and that doesn’t require me to reapply every couple of hours to continue feeling the benefits.
I absolutely loved this and will definitely continue to use it.
Tips: Massage a small amount onto your skin for all day softness and moisture.
I was very excited to try this moisturiser. The packaging is almost like a toothpaste tube because when it starts to get low, you just roll up the bottom and squeeze it out. It just won’t stand up nicely anymore which is annoying but not the end of the world.
The moisturiser smells great. It reminds me of Parma Violets and it isn’t a super strong smell which is nice.
The formula of the moisturiser feels silky. It stays in the skin a long time and you have to work to rub it in properly. I found it stayed streaky and white for a while and didn’t absorb straight away. If I stopped using the moisturiser for a few days my skin became really dry and flaky when it wasn’t before. The moisturiser wasn’t greasy and didn’t make my skin feel sticky or tacky which was great
I wouldn’t rush to buy this moisturiser after trialling it
First of all I want to congratulate Nivea on the new packaging of these body lotions. They contain 50% less plastic than the original bottles and they make getting the product out of the packaging so easy. I have really enjoyed this body lotion and will definitely be purchasing it again. The scent is light and while it doesn’t smell like avocado it does smell natural and not overpowering at all. I haven’t worn perfume on the days that I’ve applied this straight after my shower and the fragrance does linger but not in an intense way. It is hydrating and lightweight and definitely left my skin feeling smoother. I have very dry elbows and legs and while it has improved the look of these parts it didn’t make a huge difference to how dry they are. I like to apply this at night as I’ve found it does leave a slight film on my legs if I’m wearing jeans or slim fitted pants. In saying that if I’ve worn looser fitting pants or a skirt it’s fine. I would recommend this to anyone that needs daily hydration and doesn’t have super dry skin and a little goes a very long way so it great value for money too. This lotion now has a permanent spot on my bedside table.
The best part of this product, which I actually really appreciate and haven’t seen before is that you can roll up the end of the bottle- so you can get all of the product out. I love this feature and that alone makes this product better in my eyes.
The lotion it’self is nice, but not outstanding. The smell is fresh and clean and mildly scented. The lotion is nice in texture. When rubbing it on my skin, it took a while to work it into my skin, which I didn’t like. I don’t want to spend 5 minutes rubbing into my skin after the shower.
It left my skin feeling nice and soft-but the claim of 48 hrs is and exaggeration. The products was packaging was lovely and really emphasised that they were trying to market It as more environmentally friendly.
By far best feature was the thinner plastic and how you will be able to get all the product out easily.
I would recommend this to a friend, but the 48 hr hydration is definitely not accurate.
