NIVEA Pure & Natural Moisturising Day Cream

This came in a pack of Nivea Pure and Natural skincare that I picked up for a steal. I have the 'soothing' one. First up, the scent of this is similar to the other products in the range - a nice, fresh, natural sort of smell. The packaging is a glass jar with a plastic lid, which makes it feel more expensive than it is. I'm not too bothered about the jar packaging - I always wash my hands before touching the product and I close it tightly after use. I do like that it's easier to see when you need a replacement also.

I have actually been using this as a night cream rather than a day cream, in combination with rosehip oil. I mix the two together (two pea sized amounts usually) and smooth it all over my face and neck.

It has quite a thick texture, but it absorbs easily into my skin, which is prone to dryness in the winter. I would not use this in summer as a day cream, as it's a bit too thick and does not have spf. However as a night cream it is really good! My skin feels soft when I wake up and I have not had any breakouts while using it. It's cheap and lasts ages so I will definitely buy from the Nivea family for my next night cream.

You can't go wrong with the price. Easy to buy from any supermarket.

It has a creamy thick texture and feels very hydrating on my face. It does a good job moisturising my skin, leaving it looking healthy and feeling soft. The only let down is it does not contain SPF, which is what I look for in a Day Cream.

This moisturiser is light and creamy and make ps my skin feel wonderful. It is excellent under make up and a little goes a long way. Nicely scented and very gentle on the skin. Exactly what I look for in a moisturiser

I picked this up to try Niveas' Pure and Natural range, and I'm really disappointed.

It comes in glass packaging, with a twist lid, so you have to use your fingers to scoop out the product which is not hygienic for you or the product sitting there.

It smells quite 'fake natural' which is disappointing which may be why is was reacting to my skin, the fake fragrances that were added.

The actual cream is a smooth and creamy, which rubs in really easily into the skin, I found after it was rubbed in my skin got very red and stingy, which was extremely uncomfortable, after that instance I did a patch test under my ear and on my wrist and it didnt react the same so I gave it another try and got the same result on my face.

For the price, I could buy proper natural face cream made in NZ for the same price, so I will not repurchase this.

Love, love, love this moisturiser. I got to the stage where I was buying moisturisers every other month as could not find one to suit my skin. This one ticks all the boxes for me. Very moisturising and I love the fact it contains no nasties. I find the price very good as a tub lasts me about 3 months and I use it every day and even at night right after applying my Rosehip oil. Leaves my skin feeling very calm and moisturised ready for the day.

Kind of on the fence when it comes to the Nivea range. Their either useless or average. This product is a good daily moisturiser i think it is quite average, for the same price you can get a good quality brand maybe for less ML though. okay product overall but can get alot better

I have the Moisturising Day Cream and have been using it every morning after washing my face and before makeup application.

The product is a white cream with a thin consistency. The product does work as a daily moisturiser but there was nothing special about it. I felt that it was just a facial moisturiser rather than a day cream and it didn't live up to the 24 hour intensive moisture and freshness claims!

I liked that the product was made from natural ingredients and it had a nice fresh scent (nothing too strong). I really liked the simple packaging which was made from a thick glass so it would look pretty on display in the bathroom rather than having to be hidden away in a drawer.

It made my skin feel soft and smooth but after finishing my current container I will probably try out a new day cream instead.

I have been on the hunt for a natural moisturiser for some time now. I bought the Nivea Pure & Natural to try after reading about it in a magazine.

I am a bit dubious about the natural claims when there is a whole 5% that doesn't fit that criteria, but gave it a try anyway.

It does the job in terms of moisturising, its not too heavy and absorbs well into the skin. It doesn't give me redness or irritation which is good. However the smell and the cooling effect when it goes on makes it feel like there is some kind of alcohol in the product.

It is mainly for that reason that I would not recommend it or buy it again.

OK. This damn moisturiser. I LOVE IT. Seriously. I use it every single day on my combination skin and I only need about a pea size for my entire face and neck. It is so easy to apply and makes my skin feel incredibly soft and luxurious. The cucumber sent makes me melt - anything skin care related and cucumber scented gets me going, it just feels so fresh!

This lasts me a really long time and is not too expensive either! In terms of the “naturalness” of the product, I think there are other products out there that are even more natural and organic and would do a similar job, but not in the same price range.

I recommended this product to a friend and she loves it almost as much as I do and has continued to buy it over and over again.
