NIVEA Pure & Natural Moisturising Day Cream

This is a good attempt from Nivea to do a more natural product. It avoids the most commonly controversial ingredients though does use a synthetic fragrance so beware if you are sensitive to these. That said I thought the scent was light and lovely.The product felt good on my skin, left a slight oily feel which I liked having drier skin. The only thing lacking for daytime use is a sunscreen but I guess you can just apply one on top.

I loved the smell of the product from the moment that I opened the jar. It has a nice, fresh & pleasant smell which is not overwhelming.

It absorbed into my skin easily without leaving a greasy appearance despite the use of the oils in the product. I have combination skin which either becomes painfully dry or breaks out in acne. This is one of the only natural products that I have used which manages to moisturise my skin and does so without feeling too heavy.

I loved it - I was really surprised as I had used Nivea skin care on my face years ago and my memory was of something quite heavy and gluggy. This is silky soft, light but no so light that it just disappears when you apply it. It is absorbed easily but leaves your skin feeling plump and well fed. It smells gorgeous and felt good using a product that is predominantly derived from natural ingredients. The price is awesome too.

This product feels amazing going on your skin, its so silky and smooth and goes on nicely. Did however make my nose a bit oily which was disappointing, but it did clear up the dry skin i had around my forehead area (Yay!!) Overall a very good product and i will continue to use it.

This product smells divine and glides on the skin very easily. I personally found it a bit greasy and it wasn't absorbed into the skin easily. Putting foundation over it proved difficult as the day cream made the foundation slide over the skin and my face was left looking a bit shiny. If you have dry skin this product may work more effectively.

The texture of this cream is really nice and my skin feels instantly hydrated. I like the packaging except the foil seal I found hard to open. The downside to this product is the scent, it smells highly perfumed, unsure if its just a natural smell or if its perfumed? I wouldn't use this again as it doesn't have any SPF in it and for a day cream in NZ I prefer to have a sunscreen.
