Tips: let Q10 soak in for about 5 mins before you moisturizer
The product arrived and immediately with new packaging and functional container making dispensing easy and no finger dipping. The concept og pearls to deliver product is not new but the delivery of this packaging worked extremely well . The nature of an encapsulated product means that the capsule itself is part of the dispensed amount and hence initially leaves particles on the skinthat need to be dispersed on the skin so as not to leave yellow bits. The product felt smooth and silky on the skin and left the skin feeling incredibly soft and in terms of plumping it did a good job whether the effect remains is open as insufficient time allowed . The fragrance was a little too strong for me but very pleasant and disappeared quickly. So I felt it softened my skin well better than some pricier products and without irritation and yes I would definitely buy it and possibly try other products in their range.
Tips: patch test first and make sure to disperse the pearl well on the skin .
Definitely feels lovely on your skin and smells divine. It does make my skin feel quite soft and smooth. Not sure if it has held off any future wrinkles just yet...time will tell! I have been using this for only a week, morning and night. Very nice to use but in some ways just an added step in the nightly face cleansing/moisturising routine. I will keep using it and hopefully given longer will see some results.
The NIVEA Q10 Plus Anti-Wrinkle Replenishing Pearls looks good with it's point of difference yellow pearls as opposed to the usual white/cream moisturisers/serums. Being yellow it was easy to see when it was all thoroughly rubbed in. It dried quickly to a matt finish which is what someone like me who has an oily skin wants before the next layer of moisturiser or foundation is put on. My skin did feel a bit tighter when it dried (which was quick) which is always good but I didn't feel that it 'resulted in visibly younger-looking skin' as claimed in it's advertising but in that regard it did no less than most other products. I have only used it for about 10 days so there may be results I have yet to see and after using it twice a day it still looks full so is definitely value for money. I will continue to use it and judge the results at the end of the bottle as to whether I will buy another bottle.
I have really liked this product. It seemed a bit unusual at first as it is small balls in the bottle and comes out as a cream which you need to work a bit first. Once you apply it the skin feels beautifully soft and it is really nice to apply. I haven't noticed any dramatic decrease in lines and wrinkles but maybe I'm just too old for that already (44!). I've tried to remember to use it morning and night for the last fortnight and love how it feels on my skin.
Tips: Work it a bit together before you apply it so it isn't too sticky!
I have left this review as long as possible to see maximum results. After twice daily usage of the Pearls which has a creamy yellow, pleasing texture when applied to the skin. I noticed in a short time (1 day) the skin seemed more nourished, evening out my red patches of skin and smoothing the skin. But even after nearly 3 weeks the fine lines and frown lines didn't seem diminished. . Actually the only complement I got over this time was my hair was looking nice. Maybe past damage, couldn't be undone in this short period. I have been rather naughty, up until now I haven't regularly moisturized or toned my skin. My ex didn't like it. Now I am finally able to try the products I have missed using. I am sure this product after long time use it would be of benefit.
Tips: Try the pearls at first on the back of your hand, to test for allergies. Make sure it is blended well before you moisturize. It doesn't seem to show under foundation if anything it blends the foundation better.
I was excited to trial this product as the serum I normally use is hard to come by in NZ and it would be good to have an easily available alternative. I unwrapped the packaging as soon as I got it in my hands and pumped some of the product onto my hand. First thing I noticed was the smell - kind of old lady talcum powder with some weird chemical smell, however after using the product for just a couple of days I no longer noticed. The product comes out of the tube easily, looks a bit like scrambled eggs and as the bottom of the pump moves up as you use the serum there should be little or no wastage. The product spreads easily on the skin and soaks in straight away. Feels great but in the two weeks I've been using it I haven't seen any real change in my skin however my skin feels just as good as it normally does. I would definitely recommend this product to people who haven't used a serum before, it's an affordable product that makes your skin feel nourished. I will finish the bottle then go back to my normal Boots No 7 serum however this will be a good backup if I can't get hold of that.
Tips: After a couple of days you won't notice the unusual fragrance so persevere!
I have used morning and night after cleansing and haven't noticed any fewer wrinkles or change to my present wrinkles but I have noticed that my skin definitely feels softer and smoother lately. Definitely didn't make my face feel dry at any stage even after I had applied and left a bit before I applied my moisturizer. The bottle is full of these yellow pearls full of Coenzyme Q10 which are in a clear moisturizing gel, once pumped the pearls burst and mix with the gel as it comes out. I only needed one pump and that was enough to apply to my face. Loved the scent and loved the feel of it going on my face, not greasy at all and definitely has a silky feel about it. Very easy to use bottle and pump system and no mess. At this stage I was not using a Nivea moisturizer but am thinking it would be a great addition to the Nivea Q10 Plus range.
Tips: I preferred to let it sit a minute or two to dry on my face before I applied my moisturizer.
I do love how the pearls come out of the nozzle all mushed up, more creamy than other serums that seem oily. I especially like that it's not oily. The product does absorb into my skin quite quickly and it does leave my face feeling soft and smooth. I have noticed that my face is generally softer looking and that does make it look younger as well.
Tips: Give it a try!
I find that I get good results when I smother my face in this then add a moisturizer once it has absorbed. It has a scrambled egg texture as the pearls are squished into the serum. It does help hydrate your skin but as far as claiming to reduce wrinkles the jury is out on this one. I have yet to see any change.
Tips: Put plenty on then moisturize for extra hydration.
