I bought this for when I went camping and it was great! It is a great price and it quite hydrating, the only downside is you do have to keep reapplying during the day. Would 10/10 recommend if you have dry lips or a going on a holiday and just want a throwaway lip balm.

Tips: Don't leave it in the sun, a couple of my chums and I had them in our bags and they still managed to melt, guess we are just to hot haha! The lids stuck to the product and it was a bit of a messy situation! All good in the end though!
Purchased from my local countdown when I was in need of a lip balm to protect and hydrate my already chapped lips. I chose it because it looked like one that would actually repair, over than just softening my lips.
Personally, I didn't find this helpful in curing my chapped lips, and have found it better one to just have to chuck in my bag when I go out and about. I use it when it's the only one I have available, but there a certainly better products out there!
Packaging is basic, and it gets across the point that it's a lip balm intended to repair lips and not used as a lip tint, lip softener etc. Product is clear and waxy, not much to say.
Would recommend it those who want a cheap lip balm that has no tint. If you're looking for one that repairs lips, then I'm sad to say this isn't the best product for the job, despite the name.
It feels so good to apply but you need to keep applying it or it dries out quickly. I also wish it had different flavorings. It does still feel that it's protecting my lips.
I'm not a fan of the plan white with red and blue writing, I only purchased because it was on special and I couldn't find the one I normally get. I didn't really find it repaired my lips at all they were still just as cracked. Doesn't really smell like anything fantastic either. I wouldn't purchase this again and wouldn't recommend it either
I'm a Carmex devotee now, but have used this in the past. I find after awhile it stops working and becomes slightly drying, but it works well as a back up to throw in your handbag!
Tips: Don't leave in the sun - it will melt!
This is a pretty good product to use every day for lovely glossy, plump lips. That is, as long as you already have healthy looking lips. I noticed that when my lips were REALLY in trouble, even this couldn’t save them. I’m talking about proper windy-weather-damaged, chapped, and dry lips. Spreading this lip balm over my poor lips provide some short-lived comfort, but it do not repair.
I have a love hate relationship with this product. Its so soothing, especially when you've got crazy chapped lips. The downside is it takes a lot of repeated coats. Its more of a band-aid to help create a temporary weather barrier until you can find the ACTUAL product that will help repair your lips. The advertised repairing traits of this lip balm feel like false advertising.
This lip balm is a lot more waxy then many of Nivea's other lip balms, which could explain why it takes so much effort to apply and get relief.
This Nivea lip balm is inexpensive with a mild fragrance. The SPF 15 is a bonus. It comes in a handy white and blue wind-up tube. It does moisturise my lips to a certain extent, but I find that it wears off pretty quickly. I like to use gloss or balm over my lipstick and I find that I have to rub this stick quite hard on my lips to get any off onto my lips which spoils my lipstick a bit. I will not purchase this again because I prefer the Nivea lip gloss in a little tin.
Tips: Use at night for an overnight lip treatment.
I purchased this on special for $3.50 at Countdown. I feel it wears off my lips very quickly and is not enough to soothe them when they are chapped. I have definately used much better and would not purchase again.
I happily took this off my brother's hands because he had left it sitting unopened forever and I needed a lip balm until my lip balm order arrived.
Now I have used Nivea for years, but never this particular one because the packaging didn't inspire me. However, for someone like my brother it was ideal because it didn't look specifically feminine.
As a lip balm I didn't find it particularly long lasting, which was interesting given its claim to treat lips overnight.
It did however maintain my lips. I've used lots of lip balms I didn't notice any difference in my lips when using this lip balm instead. So overall I can conclude that it does the job.
