Have looked around a while for a deep moisturisor I came across the Nivea Rich Body Lotion. I liked the mild smell of this product and it definitely did the job of nourishment! My skin felt very hydrated, the product felt like it went deep into the skin (as mentioned) and locked moisture. However, it felt really quite oily, I didn't know whether this is because I use too much but it took a while for this to go away. So I would definitely recommend for those with dry skin but perhaps try to use a minimal amount.

NIVEA Rich Nourishing Body Lotion Reviews
The NIVEA Rich Nourishing Body Lotion is infused with the NIVEA DEEP MOISTURE SERUM and 2x almond oil**. The patented NIVEA formula uses the knowledge, that our skin contains sufficient moisture in its deeper* layers. The unique composition of skin’s own moisturizer, moisture-locking lipids and care providing oils bind and hold water in the skin thus the moisture cannot evaporate easily into the surrounding area. The skin is well protected from drying out, because water loss is reduced and the moisture level of the skin is increased. The latest testing methods have shown that the perfect combination of high quality ingredients of our NIVEA body lotions together with the NIVEA DEEP MOISTURE SERUM penetrates deeply* into the skin, locking moisture and providing deep* moisture for 48h.

This is a rich cream and has a pleasent scent. It comes in a variety of sizes and best yet is affordable and available at the supermarket. However I don't like the formula. It's quite oily and it never feels like it is truly absorbed. Overall I wouldn't repurchase as it didn't help longterm with my dry skin. 48hours moisture sorry but nope....
The lotion is a bit on the thick sticky side. Does not feel good when putting it on. It is as if it does not get absorbed easily into the skin.
Must say I do prefer a lotion that feels light on the skin which this Nivea product do not do. Possibly good for times when you have the time to wait cor it to absorb but not worth it for me.
Tips: Make sure to apply well before getting dressed
My partner picked this up when his last tattoo was healing, operating purely off the word ‘nourishing’ from the bottle, because it was going on a tattoo we were paying extra attention to the results this had. At the time my legs were pretty dry so I was perfect to test it out on.
I don’t feel like this was absorbed into my skin, even 12 hours down the track. The times I accidentally used it after I ended up showering purely to wash it off otherwise I’d be checking my legs to brush off any dirt or let hair they had attracted. What really sold this product as a no for me though was the visual difference. I was shocked to see no difference from this product in terms of how dry my legs looked and felt. I compared it with a product I use normally (which is half the price, twice the amount and no unnecessary perfumes etc) and straight away there was an immediate visual difference in how dry my legs were.
The boyf couldn’t help himself and tried it on the tattoo regardless, and shocked himself with what he was noticing with it. He figured that given I’m a female and have tried a wide variety, I’d be pickier and notice small details. Whereas he sat there shocked that it wasn’t being absorbed into his skin and after being given a more suitable product, he noticed that his skin felt like it had moisture which was notably absent when he used Nivea’s lotion.
Nivea typically have pretty good products so this was quite a let down.
Tips: Talk to the people around you and find out what they use. Friends around the same age bracket may point toward more expensive products down to brand etc. but this is also an area most of our parents are worthwhile having a chat to.
I’ll admit I showed it to my mum and got a few recommendations from her, many of which are at great price points with long-term customer base.
I picked this up when it was on a special and I am a HUGE Nivea fan so I was expecting to love this. Whilst this is super for my hubby and his dry skin on his hands, I find that it leaves a "greasy" feel. This is wonderful for after shaving to lock in moisture and to make your legs feel smooth. We have also used this cream for hand massages ect. But this isn't something i personally would use as a daily body cream and that's only due to preferring a light feel cream
I love NIVEA products and this one such an OG however its so thick and doesn't always soak into your skin. I'm aware everyone's skin is different so my preference would be a thinner Nivea cream.
Tips: Only use a little cream
It's an ok lotion but not a long lasting one. It's easy to apply and smells good. It's good to use when you need a little moisturize but not one that would last 48 hours.
Tips: Moisturize twice to get a nice hydrating feel.
This body lotion didn't provide moisture for 48 hours like it says unfortunately. It worked nicely for keeping the moisture for longer after a shower for example, but not that much longer. It's not very greasy or sticky which is a plus, but to be effective at deeply moisturising you would have to reapply (with a bit of water) quite often.
I get very dry skin especially on my lower body and so I do have some higher needs when it comes to moisterizers. Unfortunately I didn't find this lotion great. Sure it made my skin pretty soft and first but that didn't last long and soon my skin felt dehydrated and rough again. I found much better brands on the market afterwards and never went back to this lotion. Oh and I didn't enjoy the scent at all and also find it too strong
Again nivea is great. I love thos lotion just coz it absorbs into my skin so fast and im always in a rush. It makes my skin feels so soft and moist. I like that i can find it in every shop and i like that its afordable and most of the time on special
