I was a long term user of this product - until recently. I found that it made my lips very sensitive, and the more I used it, the more I needed to use it. As a result, my lips ended up very red, sore, and burnt. It took several days of using an alternative, natural product for them to heal.

Tips: Not recommended for extended use.
I'm not sure if it's just cause they have changed the packaging but I can't work out the one I always used to get.
It's in a pretty red container that goes up easily and down so it's easy to use. It smells AMAZING I'm a big fan of fruity products especially berry (the peach one also smells amazing)
I don't find they work overly well but they are handing to have in the bottom of your bag and easily to grab cause they are normally at the check out.
They feel nice when you put them on but then I don't tend to notice it much and feel like I am forever putting them on when I have nothing else around. The do tint your lips a little.
I found this on sale at The Warehouse a while ago and decided to try it out, but I'm not really that impressed with it. I had higher expectations for this but unfortunately I just don't like it at all.
The packaging is good and simple, classic NIVEA packaging - twist up tube, very durable. It has a nice design and logo on a red cap, which I like. It holds a lot of product which is great considering the price is good.
The product itself is bright red in the tube, and you can see the glitters. Once you have used this balm a bit the glitters look a bit gritty in the tube. The product is not very moisturizing, but it does give your lips a pinky-red tint which is glossy and sparkly. It doesn't last long either, I have to reapply every hour or so because my lips feel dry.
I won't be buying this again, I feel there are better NIVEA lip balms that are the same price as this one and moisturize my lips better.
I loved the fact that this product smelled of Strawberries. It also left a little tint of red on my lips. This was fine when my lips werent too damaged, but when my lips were really badly chapped, the colour was uneven and seemed orange-y? It helped to moisturize my lips as long as I reapplied it a lot, as my lips were VERY dry. I would recommend this product, wish it tasted of strawberry too though!
Didn't feel like it really did much for my dry lips and didn't like the colour it left. Pretty average product. Will stick to blistex. Will not repurchase again.
I used to always carry these around with me. They smelled of (synthetic) strawberries and gave the lips a red tint. And of course coming in a wind up tube meant they were far more convenient to take out and about than a tub you had to stick your fingers into.
Of course, being a lip balm, the colour doesn't last more than an hour or two.And I'd find myself often reapplying them to keep my lips hydrated.
While these were convenient. I have now replaced them with a less synthetic smelling lip balm, which also has a slightly more natural tint to it. But these are a great affordable product and I would consider using them again when I need a replacement lip balm, especially since they're so assessible across the country.
Tips: Use a mirror to apply if you aren't certain you'll get it perfectly on your lips.
I usually use this product when Ive ran out of my other lip balms, its usually the last resort as Im not a big fan of the product. Smells amazing and is so smooth to apply, I aint a fan of the sticky texture it does leave on your lips though, and the colour is abit tacky for my liking, but all in all does the job.
The thing I like most about this is the smell. I like that it leaves a red tint but find that it has little shimmery bits in it which I don't like. In terms of moistourising my lips it does a good job but I have other nivea lip balms that I prefer ( I love the honey and milk one and babylios do good tinted lip balms). Overall I will finish the tube but not repurchase.
This lip balm smells good, isn't sticky, applies nice and smoothe, makes your lips look glossy with a subtle tint and is pretty cheap, however like with most chapstick/lip balms, it actually dries my lips out. Initially it's really nice, but at the end of the day, I have really dry lips that start peeling so I only use this lip balm once in a while, and I never apply regularly throughout the day as I end up with built up patches that look kind of gross
This isn't my favourite product but it isn't the worst. Wouldn't buy again. Didn't do anything to my lips. Didn't like the colour it put on my lips.
