NIVEA SUN Protect and Moisture Moisturising Sunscreen Lotion SPF50+

This sunscreen is light and protects my skin pretty well in the warmer months, However it is quite expensive for the volume. It leaves an oily feeling on your skin, but that's how I indicate whether I need to re-apply or not, so I find it useful

As a sun lotion it works great, I didnt get sunburn in or out of the ocean. But for me it is way to oily and thick! Plus it never soaked in, I felt like a greasy person all day and badly wanted a shower. Plus sand stuck everywhere!! For the purpose it is intended for its great but made me uncomfortable and gross so personally wouldn't use it again

while camping a couple of months back a group of 7 went through a big bottle of this and open a second one while we did what it said on the bottle and wait before swimming a couple of us got it in our eyes whilst swimming and it caused our eyes to burn and become very irritable ever since then i wont put it on my face as i find it does protect from the sun ..

Quite thick and sticky but definitely does the job. I have never been sunburnt while using this so that really speaks for itself. The scent is alright as well. I would say this is a more moisturising sunblock compared to others. Would repurchase but wouldn't be my first choice.

I loathed sunscreen all my life , always avoiding wearing it till I smartened up and realized that I HAVE to wear it, non- negotiable. Now that i've accepted that fact and learnt to live with sunscreen in my life, this is one that i've come to prefer.

This sunscreen lotion has a soft flowery talcum powder scent, it still has that typical sunscreen smell to it but it's very mild and smells more to me like a talcum powder. Big thumbs up on scent if you usually hate the smell of sunscreen, (I do!)

This consistency is thick and creamy, is easily rubbed into the skin and absorbed without leaving an obvious pale film on the surface of the skin or white streaks. It leaves my skin looking and feeling adequately hydrated and protected from the sun. It does feel the slightest bit tacky on the skin to the touch, but not enough to bother me.

This is one of my favorite everyday sunscreens as it feels more like a regular lotion to use, as opposed to dense, filmy, sticky and stinky sunscreens. A great option or the whole family.

I like this sunscreen because of its high SPF. I normally use it my children and myself when we're swimming, as we have a shower straight after. The lotion is thick and very white ,so when we apply it , it leaves a white residue making us all look a bit grey, and not to forget that this is very stick too,so I don't find it suitable when out and about as we would end up being a hot sticky mess, so it is just limited to the swimming pool.

I like the high SPF of this product and I buy it to pop into my bag when I am out and for my kids school bags. It is a fairly thick formulation and so the kids can see when they miss a spot too.

It is good suncreen. I use it every summer, can't remember how many bottles I have used over the years. it does an amazing job protecting skin from the sun. Absorbs quickly into my skin, the formula is not runny. Super affordable! It is very moisturising so it is great for winter as well. For some people, it might be a bit greasy.

Nivea......why do you insist on making all of your products smell so similar? If it wasn't for the good performance I get out of them I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. The scent is so overwhelming and frankly quite sickening. I bought this on sale from the Warehouse for $11.99 and loved the fact that it promised moisturizing effects as well as protection from the sun.

The other reason why I reached for this one is that besides the moisturizing it does for my skin, I have quarter of my body covered in tattoos so need to protect them from the sun so they don't fade. The fact that it is SPF 50+ made me get this, rather than the normal SPF 30+ like I normally would have got. I can rest assured knowing that my son as well as myself are well protected.

I love the shape of this bottle. It is both unique and edgy and fits in with my personal style. I make sure I always have a bottle in the car, inside and in my bag where ever I go, especially in summer. It is a basic flip lid that you open, tip up and squeeze to get the sunscreen. I am generous with it and rub it all over my skin to cover every inch. I also apply this under my makeup to protect my skin from the UV rays I don't see under the clouds.

I notice that my skin is very moisturized like it promises and that sun burn is now a thing of the past. I apply every two to three hours or every hour if in the water to make sure that my skin and my families skin is always protected as best as it can be. It is very thick and can take a bit to rub in. It leaves a slight residue but is quickly absorbed as it melts in to the skin. As I said above the smell is not one I like but will tolerate for the sun protection I get.

Living in a country where half an hour in the sun can cause some serious sunburn, it's always been important to me to get a reliable sunscreen!

What attracted me to this product in the first place was it's affordable price compared to other brands of sunscreen, and the fact that it provides a high level of protection from the sun - SPF50+.

However, the first time I went to use it was when I was out camping and about to go swimming. Whilst the actual lotion seemed promising because of it's thick consistency, I found that it leaves a greyish sort of tinge to wherever it was applied (which is annoying, but alright since it offered such good protection), but I found that as soon as I got into the water, that the sunscreen started to run all over the place which was problematic when it ran from my forehead to my eyes.

Whilst I understand that sunscreen isn't meant to go into people's eyes, it is something to consider, especially when going in or near the water. What I like is that you don't need a lot of sunscreen when applying, it goes a long way!
