I loved this sunblock just because of the high SPF. I only applied it twice that day and I did not get burned at all. I have fair skin and easy burn but this protected me very well even tho I went into the water and stuff.
Now I did get drawn to the Moisturizing effect when I first saw it, but when put on the skin its was just so greasy! I dont know if this is because I religiously moisturize my skin or what but this part of it I really did not like at all.
I had a bottle of this for a while and think I ended up giving it to my brother as it was way too greasy for me! It was also quite thick and white. Not what I am looking for in a sunscreen at all!
Tips: Beware of the greasiness!
This sunscreen was effective but it leaves your skin very very white and it feels very thick on your skin. It rubs off in water or with sweat making it not useful for me as I row.
As a household, we love this sunscreen. It suits everyone, is easy to apply, economical, a good size to pack in a bag and smells fresh.
What more can I say apart from that it does the sunscreen job really well and it suits everyone in our household. It's is definitely a product to recommend and is a good value product readily available everywhere.
Tips: Use it every time you are out in the sun.
I'm not sure if it's any more moisturising than any other sunblock, but I tend to buy this one because it's SPF 50. It works well, and I only get burnt when I miss spots (generally the shoulders). It doesn't have a weird smell which is a bonus!
Tips: Don't be lulled into a false sense of security. Even though it's SPF 50, you should still reapply every couple of hours in case it's rubbed off or you've missed spots.
This sun lotion is in a big bottle which I like, it stays on for a good period of time, I don't have to reapply it as much as other brands. What I also like is it absorbs into the skin so I don't have that white look on my skin. Its a great Nivea product and one that I'm sticking too.
I have this product as my back up sunblock, and it works as it should! Gives me good protection etc but like most others have said - the formula is very greasy once applied. In saying that it works fine as just a sunblock and I am happy with it especially the high spf factor, which is what sold it to me.
