This was pretty much our standard sunscreen that we always had a few bottles travel with us to the park or to the beach. It was just about the only sunscreen we had with us on several vacations. So long as people applied it regularly they didn't get too burnt and just heavily tanned. But that was on mornings that we spent five or so hours out at the beach in the tropical sun and swimming in the sea and the pool. If you apply it and then jump in the pool you will notice a thin milky sort of residue floating around you for a bit because it's not waterproof so you do need to be careful and reapply it fairly often because it does wash off.

Tips: Towel off before you reapply if you are swimming it rubs in better that way. Also if your going to be out in a swimsuit apply it before putting on your swimsuit as it's easier to rub in and you're likely to get a dollop on your swimsuit. Applying 15-20 minutes does help as well.
I'm unsure on this sunscreen as I found it took a long time to absorb into my skin and when it did my skin felt thick and clammy. My partner finds it great as he uses it more often than I. The smell is fine, like any other sunscreen really, and the packaging is a little fun, it isn't too basic but not over the top.
I really love having sunscreen around over summer. This one was a good staple, but nothing special really.
It's reliable because it gives great sun protection (as you expect), but it isn't super awesome or anything to rave about. It takes awhile to absorb in, and leaves a bit of a greasy after-feel. However if you are just using it for a day in the sun this is fine, but I wouldn't recommend wearing it to the beach where all the grit gets stuck to you. Overall not a bad product though.
Tips: Don't apply in windy or gritty conditions as small particles will become part of your sun protection.
This sunscreen was effective but it leaves your skin very very white and it feels very thick on your skin. It rubs off in water or with sweat making it not useful for me as I row.
this sunscreen is good, dosnt smell chemically like other lotions sometimes do. Its formula is thick and creamy, it absorbs into my skin fast without leaving a oily residue. I used some on my 4yr old son and he had a VERY bad reaction! He broke out in hives that lasted for nearly a week! he never reacts to anything so this was a surprise! so wont be using it again .
This has always protected me from the sun (aka no sunburn) but it isn't the most comfortable to wear compared to other sunscreens I have tried. This lotion is quite thick and takes a lot longer to sink into the skin that other lotions I have used. Because of this it leaves you looking quite greasy and sticky feeling for longer than other sunscreens (as I know all sunscreens should be given a while to soak in before going out into the sun). There are more affordable better performing sunscreens than this one but it's ok for a standard sunscreen as it still does the job. Not something I would repurchase or recommend though.
I had high hopes for this product, but ultimately I'm left feeling disappointed and I won't be repurchasing or finishing the bottle. Even though this sunscreen does the job and I don't tan at all -- the lotion is thick and doesn't seem to absorb, no matter how many times I rub it in. I'm then left with a white, shiny cast which does not look attractive on my light skin at all!!
This sun block has a nice smell lovely and creamy texture and does the trick, no tanning with this block on, but it just doesn't tend to soak in, it sits on the skin and you can see it white streaks of cream and any thing floating in the air sticks to you, I feel quite tacky with it on. It does block out the sun but it's not for me.
Being brought up in my family, Nivea was one of those staple items in our grocery shopping or shopping sprees. I normally use sunscreen in the summer but have come to realise that I need to use it probably all times of the year to help protect my skin from uv trays.
Niveas known for their colour blue being their main branding colour. This bottle comes in a 200 ml bottle. The shape of it is like a ractangle but slanted to the top which I'm assuming is for grip. The bright orange and yellow added to the bottle screams summer.
The liquid sunscreen lotion is thin in texture. Feels like a white film when it's applied to you skin. I do remember it having a light scent to it. Lasted on me for about 30-45 minutes in direct sunlight. Did need frequent application if used when swimming. I have used this on my whole family. It does sting kids eye if rubbed in so beware.
My results is an average suncreen that gets the job done. I have used it on numerous occasions because it's affordable for the family to use.
This sunscreen was way too thick for my liking. It made it really difficult to get good coverage. I think I used it twice before throwing it away because I just couldn't be bothered spending what felt like hours rubbing it into my skin. On the plus side, the two times I did use it, I did not get burnt.
