Tips: Team it with other Oasis products for maximum benefit.
To be honest, I really enjoy this product. I received a trial sample from Oasis and it gave me a very fresh feeling of this product. It's easy to absorb and nice light fragrance. My skin is normal-combination and I feel no greasy at all. It keeps the moisture level for the whole day. It's a little bit pricy for 50ml. I'll buy it again if any promotion or sale
What a fantastic daily treat for the skin. Brightens each day with that beautiful fresh appley smell. Readily absorbed by the skin, leaving it feeling protected and nourished all day, without heaviness or greasiness - love it.
I received this as a free sample and have since become addicted. I can't comment on specific packaging since I've only just ordered my full size product -having said that if it's like the other Oasis packaging it will be understated class, just lovely- and the price is steeper than what I'd normally go for, but I couldn't resist!
This is an amazing moisturiser, with a capital A. The smell is beautiful, a not-too-sweet fresh apple scent and the consistency is a light but rich (so not watery) creamy texture. It goes on really smoothly & soaked in straight away (which is rare!!) and I swear I saw a brightening straight away, I actually forego my daily BB cream while I was wearing this. My skin felt really fresh & nice all day, no greasiness or build up. My skin has felt softer since using this I can't wax lyrical enough!!
Tips: - Get a free sample from their website to try before you 'invest' in this high-end moisturiser. - Use it as often as you like during the day, it will wake you up & make your skin feel great
I first tried this as a free sample from oasis. I adored the smell but I didn't feel like it was quite moisterising enough for my dry skin. Anyway, when they had their sale on for a not quite right batch, I bought two bottles. They were marked down to $5 when the usual price is $50 so I really couldn't resist. The batch has the same ingredients but the texture and smell were not quite up to their usual standard. To me, both batches felt the same on my skin, the cheaper one was just more like a lotion in texture then the thick butter like consistency that the sample product had. The cheaper one still smelt good to me.
I've just used up the whole bottle. I use it just in the morning and use 3 pumps. I do my face, neck top of my chest and also rub the excess into my hands. It feels nice on my skin, not too greasy, and it absorbs quite fast. The bottle lasted me about 6 or 7 weeks which I think is quite reasonable. I love the packaging, it's a pump and as you use it, the product moves up so you don't waste a single drop. It always annoys me when there is a heap of product left in a tube and it's impossible to get to.
My skin feels really good after using this, it did feel moisterised but maybe for my super dry skin, not as moisterised as I would like. Overall, I do think this is a good product, it smells good, it's made in NZ and it has lots of great ingredients in it. I probably won't buy this one at full price but I would definitely use the same brand again, just a different product in their range. If you have normal skin, I would definitely say to give this a go. Oasis give you 3 free samples to try out so why not :)
This is an amazing moisturiser for my skin type which is combo. I get scared of moisturiser that will clog up my pores, but this is perfect! It sinks into my skin without making it shiny, it smoothes my skin out without any irritations.
The scent of this moisturiser is beautiful! I love the apple scent which doesn't smell fake or chemically at all. I love using natural products on my skin, and this one definitely fits the bill.
The packaging of this moisturiser is are really easy to use and dispense the right amount. I love the cute packaging they use.
This is a my holy grail staple spf moisturizer. Anyone who knows me knows I'm a sunscreen fanatic. I'll wear spf indoors on a rainy day. There's so much to love about this spf moisturizer, it's almost completely comprised of natural and organic ingredients, it's not heavy and greasy, barely whitens my skin (I'm a light tan color), has zinc as one of it's two sunscreen agents, it has a spf over 20, the other ingredients in it are ones that are anti-aging and improve the health of your skin, doesn't make me break out, it retails for under $30 if you know where to buy it, it comes in an airless pump bottle and three pumps covers my face, neck and décolletage. Not much that I don't love about this product as I've been using this as a daily staple for the past two years and I wish I started sooner. The only thing about this that would be a con is the other sunscreen agent is p-ethyl hexyl methoxycinnamic acid which isn't organic, there are lighter textured spf moisturizers and an spf of 30 would be a bit more preferable. However, I have not gotten burned when I've worn this during the day. Also I've worn it under makeup any day I was wearing makeup and it hasn't been too heavy or greasy underneath, so I'm happy to continue using this and will plan to repurchase multiple times in years to come.
Tips: Don't rub in the spf as this halves the sun protection, instead apply and pat it on. The whitening will fade in ten minutes max. This is recommended as a primer but I find after time it doesn't help your foundation stay on as well so a primer would be more effective to keeping your foundation in place. This retails on Healthpost for $28.90.
I started using this because it was lying around and I needed a moisturiser with SPF in it coming into the warmer months! I like the smell and it applies nicely, however I have found that I sometimes get a bit shiny through days that I wear this. Mattifying powder fixes this though, and its not bad enough to stop me from wearing it!
I bought some of this a couple of months back and used it every day until it was gone.
Packaging: I love the packaging as its slim and totally user friendly. The amount of product that came out was just right and I loved the handy pump at the top.
Formula: So the formula felt really nice and glided on really well. Soaked into my skin and since my skin is super duper dry, it just drank it up and I had to apply a second amount. It smelt divine and definitely smells like apples, yum.
Results: Because my skin is super dry, I felt that it didn't fully hydrate my skin as I would like, which is a shame as I had high hopes for this product as I have used their BB Cream.
Price: The price tag is a wee bit steep for me and based on the results, it totally wouldn't be worth it.
SO 3 stars from me based as its not as hydrating and also the price tag
I received a sample of this, and it is so nice to wear. I have dry skin, and I found it to be moisturising and nourishing for my skin, as well as protecting it from the sun provided you wear a sufficient amount (about 1/4 tsp for the face). I like that it contains rosehip oil, something which I have found to be very beneficial for my skin. I can't comment about the anti-aging benefits as I think you'd need to use it for a long time to notice those, but I did feel that my skin looked glowing after a few days of using it.
It is slightly more expensive than the usual product I would buy but still much cheaper than something from a department store brand, and I think it's really excellent quality. When I run out of my existing moisturisers I think I will probably buy this one.
Tips: Wait a few minutes for it to soak in before apply makeup over the top.
