This is a no fuss, light, lovely moisturiser. Smells lovely, feels lovely. It feels natural. It absorbs very quickly and leaves the skin feeling nourished but not greasy. I love that it has a good amount of SPF power behind it to. It is nice and smooth to apply and not at all thick and gluggy like some heavy moisturisers. My skin favours a lighter (but powerful) moisturiser so this suits me very well.

Tips: Oasis offers 3 x samples as a one off to try their products which is a great way to get to experience these great products.
I purchased this moisturiser when Oasis were selling "Dodgy Apple" for $5.00, so I thought if I didn't like it, no biggie! I'm not sure what was so dodgy about it, possibly the scent wasn't quite as appley as described... however I really LOVE this product. Oasis are my new Holy Grail and I have a steadily building range of their products. I like this because it has a sunscreen, which is a must for me. My skin is quite dry thanks to the air conditioning at work, and I get dry patches - Apple a Day fixes that wee problem. It really suits my skin, and feels great on. Reading some of the other reviews I can see what the Beauty Reviewers mean about the slightly tacky feel, but I don't really mind that. It leaves my skin feeling matte and nourished; it sinks in quickly. As always I love Oasis' packaging, and the wee pump container delivers just the right amount (I use 2 pumps because I'm heavy handed), and the opaque tube lets you see how much is left. I would definitely re-purchase this at full price when it runs out. As far a day cream, I love it.
This Apple A Day is definitely nutrition for my skin!
The scent is delicious..I'm a huge fan of fruity smells, and this smells like fresh juicy apples, its such a refreshing and invigorating scent. I really can't get enough of it!
The packaging is distinctively from Oasis, its simple yet stylish. The tall, white pump bottle stands out from my different products sitting on my dresser. It comes in a 50ml bottle, which is a bit larger than my other moisturisers.
I much prefer my moisturisers in a pump, as its so much more hygienic and convenient. I wish other companies would do this more!
My skin can be temperamental, dry in some places, yet slightly oily in others. In addition to that it can be reactive to certain moisturisers. So, I'm always a bit wary and have to keep a close eye on whether I get a reaction with a new product. But, my sensitive skin felt fantastic after using this, it's so gentle and calming.
The formula is a thickish consistency for a moisturiser, which I like. Just a few pumps and it easily can be massaged into your face. My dry skin just drinks this up. I love how it just hydrates and moisturises my skin so well. My skin feels so silky soft after using this.
Another plus is that this is a New Zealand company, its great to support New Zealand companies. They definitely give the high end brands great competition.
I would recommend this to anyone wanting a hydrating and fabulous moisturiser.
Tips: Get a sample from the Oasis website to try for yourself.
I received a sample of this, and it is so nice to wear. I have dry skin, and I found it to be moisturising and nourishing for my skin, as well as protecting it from the sun provided you wear a sufficient amount (about 1/4 tsp for the face). I like that it contains rosehip oil, something which I have found to be very beneficial for my skin. I can't comment about the anti-aging benefits as I think you'd need to use it for a long time to notice those, but I did feel that my skin looked glowing after a few days of using it.
It is slightly more expensive than the usual product I would buy but still much cheaper than something from a department store brand, and I think it's really excellent quality. When I run out of my existing moisturisers I think I will probably buy this one.
Tips: Wait a few minutes for it to soak in before apply makeup over the top.
I have just started using Oasis products, and wow, im very impressed! The Apple a day moisturizer is perfect for my skin and ticks all the boxes. Its has spf 25 which is super important to me and my skin is so soft and getting smoother by the day.
Tips: Team it with other Oasis products for maximum benefit.
To be honest, I really enjoy this product. I received a trial sample from Oasis and it gave me a very fresh feeling of this product. It's easy to absorb and nice light fragrance. My skin is normal-combination and I feel no greasy at all. It keeps the moisture level for the whole day. It's a little bit pricy for 50ml. I'll buy it again if any promotion or sale
I received this as a free sample and have since become addicted. I can't comment on specific packaging since I've only just ordered my full size product -having said that if it's like the other Oasis packaging it will be understated class, just lovely- and the price is steeper than what I'd normally go for, but I couldn't resist!
This is an amazing moisturiser, with a capital A. The smell is beautiful, a not-too-sweet fresh apple scent and the consistency is a light but rich (so not watery) creamy texture. It goes on really smoothly & soaked in straight away (which is rare!!) and I swear I saw a brightening straight away, I actually forego my daily BB cream while I was wearing this. My skin felt really fresh & nice all day, no greasiness or build up. My skin has felt softer since using this I can't wax lyrical enough!!
Tips: - Get a free sample from their website to try before you 'invest' in this high-end moisturiser. - Use it as often as you like during the day, it will wake you up & make your skin feel great
I have been using this moisturiser for a few months now after having purchased a goodie bag from the Oasis website. It has hydrated my skin beautifully, smells wonderful and not at all overpowering. I tend to get reactions to sunscreens so the built in sunscreen is a big bonus. A little goes along way so its great value for money. My skin is soft and smooth and doesn't feel tight like it has with some other moisturisers.
Tips: Used with the serums, it does an even better job! Well worth getting a goodie bag to try the whole range
This is a my holy grail staple spf moisturizer. Anyone who knows me knows I'm a sunscreen fanatic. I'll wear spf indoors on a rainy day. There's so much to love about this spf moisturizer, it's almost completely comprised of natural and organic ingredients, it's not heavy and greasy, barely whitens my skin (I'm a light tan color), has zinc as one of it's two sunscreen agents, it has a spf over 20, the other ingredients in it are ones that are anti-aging and improve the health of your skin, doesn't make me break out, it retails for under $30 if you know where to buy it, it comes in an airless pump bottle and three pumps covers my face, neck and décolletage. Not much that I don't love about this product as I've been using this as a daily staple for the past two years and I wish I started sooner. The only thing about this that would be a con is the other sunscreen agent is p-ethyl hexyl methoxycinnamic acid which isn't organic, there are lighter textured spf moisturizers and an spf of 30 would be a bit more preferable. However, I have not gotten burned when I've worn this during the day. Also I've worn it under makeup any day I was wearing makeup and it hasn't been too heavy or greasy underneath, so I'm happy to continue using this and will plan to repurchase multiple times in years to come.
Tips: Don't rub in the spf as this halves the sun protection, instead apply and pat it on. The whitening will fade in ten minutes max. This is recommended as a primer but I find after time it doesn't help your foundation stay on as well so a primer would be more effective to keeping your foundation in place. This retails on Healthpost for $28.90.
A month ago I finally took a bite out of Apple A Day after hearing so many good things about it.
To be honest I wasn't expecting a lot, perhaps because I'd had a run of disappointing daytime moisturisers. This however is a good apple!
The scent isn't overpowering, but lovely and fresh. The lotion initially appears rather thick, but doesn't feel thick upon the skin and is quick to sink in. And the results? Delicious! Within two weeks my skin was looking, smoother, more even and hydrated. I didn't realise how good it was though until I switched to an old moisturiser for August's Project Pan and my skin became tight, itchy and broke out. I hurried back to Oasis' Apple A Day after that.
Having an SPF in it is always a bonus, but as it's winter I haven't discovered whether it works or not - but being a naughty sun bunny I'm sure I'll find out come summer.
The packaging is simple, the pump is easy to use and I like the way the bottom lifts the product up so you're getting all the lotion out, rather than having a good glob sitting at the bottom that you can't get too.
If you've skin on the dry side, I can't recommend this moisturiser highly enough.
