Love Serum

Oh there's nothing I love more than Oasis's skin serums!

I got this as one of my free samples from there site and I'm so glad I did!

I have sensitive skin with a damaged acid mantle so my skin gets set off pretty easily, I even break out in little itchy hives sometimes just from using certain oils, I have no problem with this serum at all!

This isn't a heavy serum, it has quite a light feeling to it. A little goes a long way and you can apply a moisturiser over as well or use on it's own.

For a herbal smell this one isn't too bad actually, it's quite pleasant.

This serum is calming, quickly absorbed into the skin and leaves my skin feeling hydrated, smooth, soft and a little bit plumper.

My skin is starting to look more even but I haven't noticed any difference to my smile or fine lines yet, but I'm still holding out hope :)

It Rocks!

I received the sample set of Oasis beauty products and added this as I was in the market for a new holy grail moisturiser. This was very gentle on my skin and left it feeling very healthy and free whilst smoothing out dry patches. It's a serum/oil-ish texture that quickly absorbs into the skin for immediate results. I love this product as it's non-greasy and moisturises without adding to my oil slick nose issue. The only downfall was the scent, I find quite a few of their products have an unusual odour. This obviously comes with the territory of organic products, but just thought I'd mention it! I would recommend their line if you have sensitive skin and are concerned with chemicals and additives in your skincare.

Tips: Try out the samples they offer to discover which products best suit your skin! I also love the night repair moisturiser

Rebalancing

A little brown bottle with a black pump to get this serum out, packaging is nice and basic, the box it comes in is a pretty white green and a earthy colour. I do have dry skin but sometimes combination. It says two pumps is enough and warm it in your hands before applying to a cleansed face, I did that but two pumps didn't look much so I did four that was way too much. It's like a oil a very pale yellow in colour not grainy at all, I don't like the scent it's like a floral cod liver oil and marigold so a little bitter smell, the scent doesn't last by the time I get a whiff of it, it's then gone whew. This does soak in quite surprised how quickly and no shiny residue either, This I have found does soothe my skin when it's a bit red and mad it does also soften my skin as well, not extra moisturising but soft skin. I find myself doing a we massage with this serum to work it in especially sometimes I get a wee flair up of dermatitis I really rub it in that bit, my fingers don't slide over my skin with this, I get more skin contact with my fingers it's just like its being primed for the next step. I've really noticed that my oily areas don't seem as greasy using this and my dry areas have had some softening, and I'm sure it helps with skin flare ups. I think if you have combination skin this is most certainly worth the money, it does last as two pumps is all I need.

Tips: Massage this into your skin

Not On the Rocks or Fence @ Repurchasing, I am!

I bought this serum when Oasis beauty was having a big sale. I've always like their Apple a Day and so jumped at the chance to purchase more of their products to try. Omg, you know how facial oils sometimes take awhile to absorb and you have to wait awhile to apply your skincare? Not Oasis' serums! It sinks in beautifully and absorbs almost instantly or within a few minutes max. I am nothing short of impressed with that! I didn't have any breakouts from their serum and it really complimented their Apple a Day moisturizer which is my fave, in fact it worked better with it than with any other serum I have paired with it in the past. While there isn't any major changes to my skin so far, it's soft, moisturized and non-greasy. Scent wise it has a nutty sort of scent, which is probably the sweet almond oil. The only cons I can think of is that the with the size of the bottle and me needing more than just a pump to cover my face, neck and decolletege using it twice a day I'll finish the bottle in about a month, so it gets a bit pricey compared to other serums that come in 20-30ml bottles and that the bottle is clear which isn't the best for active ingredients. That being said the airless pump is my favorite type of packaging format as it keeps ingredients air tight and allows you to get out every last bit of product. I probably will repurchase this when there's a good gift with purchase or big sale on their products. If you have combination or oily skin I would highly recommend this.

Tips: Apply it while your skin is damp from toner as that way one pump applies a bit better than if your skin is a bit damp. I found this serum goes fantastic when uses with the Oasis toner and moisturizers, not that it doesn't work with other brands but when paired with other Oasis skincare it seems to compliment it better. Wait till Oasis or another site has a good sale or gwp with purchase to buy so you can get a good deal. If you are unsure if this is for you, you can request three free samples so you can figure if it's for you, then whenever you order from the Oasis site you can request three samples with your order so you can plan your next Oasis purchase.

Oil me up, Bessie!!

On its own, this serum is beautiful. Used with the Oasis moisturizer The Knock Out, it's a literal match made in heaven.

The serum is a pale gold in color and quite pleasing to the eye (who doesn't love gold!). I only needed 2 drops of this, and I smoothed it all around my face. It applied like cream on a crumpet and my skin loved it.

I loved this because of how easy it went on, and the fact that it didn't break me out like a lot of oils can. Used with the Knock Out, my skin was the best I think it's ever been, and I wish I could afford to buy more of both!

I would use this again, and I would consider buying a full sized one!

Soothes Stressed Skin

A sample size of Oasis On The Rocks Serum was also in the Goodie Bag that I ordered from Oasis. After having such a great reaction to Oasis Straight Up Serum, I was keen to try this soothing serum.

I'd been on holiday for 2 weeks by the time I began using this and my skin was feeling a little dehydrated and stressed after being exposed to sun and wind for hours on a daily basis.

This serum contains Lavender and Chamomile to soothe, while Sweet Almond Oil, Rosehip and Jojoba moisturise the skin; Vitamins A, C & E to improve skin cell turnover, fight free radicals and heal and repair skin damage; and Rose to help treat dryness while also providing a very subtle scent. Even thought it's an oil, it is non-greasy and is absorbed quickly into the skin. I found that 4 drops from the little sample bottle was sufficient to do both my face and neck and the subtle rose fragrance is barely even there and not very noticeable, so it won't leave you with an overpowering scent!

As with the Straight Up Serum, I only applied the serum at night and did this by placing 4 drops into the palm of one hand before gently rubbing my hands together before patting the oil over my face and neck. I gently massaged the warmed oil into my face and neck until all of it was absorbed and my skin felt soft, relaxed and hydrated. I chose not to apply a moisturiser on top as the serum was sufficient for my oily skin, but I did apply an eye cream. If you have dry or combination skin, a night cream or moisturiser can be applied on top. Be careful if you use this serum in the morning, as applying an oil to your face can promote sun damage. If you do choose to use it in the morning, make sure to apply a good quality sunscreen on top.

Would I recommend it? Definitely. Would I buy it again? I'm not sure, I seem to prefer Oasis' Straight Up Serum, but that's just personal preference.

Tips: If you feel oily after applying the serum, you're probably using too much. Blot lightly with a tissue to remove any excess and try using less the next time you apply it.

Disappointing

This is one of those products that you love before you've even tried it. I had heard so many great things about serums and I usually love Oasis products, so I was excited to use this.

However, it seemed a bit much for my skin. In the advertising it says the product is non-greasy and it penetrates into lower layers of the skin, but I felt like it was sitting on my skin quite heavily and I felt uncomfortable putting even a light moisturiser over it. I even started to break out a little while using it.

It you suffer from dry skin or your moisturiser isn't cutting it this could be a good option, but if you dislike the feel of products sitting on your skin, as I do, you may find this unpleasant.

Tips: Oasis do free samples at retailers so try before you buy!

Ooh I didn't know you could get the free samples at retailers as well as on the website, yay. I found Straight Up was really good but only if I applied it directly to spots or no more than a couple times a week... you have that one to try too eh?

So hydrating

This serum comes in a cute little pump bottle that dispenses exactly the right amount.

I find one pump enough to do my whole face. Once I've pumped it out, I warm it in my fingers and dab it all over my face. If my neck needs extra moisturising I will use 2 pumps as 1 just isn't enough.

My skin absorbs this product very well - it doesn't absorb immediately but takes a few minutes and for that reason I prefer to use this at night, followed by my beauty sleep, or whatever night cream I'm using at the time.

I wake up with super supple skin in the morning and just love the way my skin feels.

It has a very "natural" smell that I can't place - kinds grassy but I actually enjoy it.

You may be put off by the price but it's really worth it, my bottle has lasted about 2 months so pretty good value for money.

I would have given 5/5 if it actually reversed my skin damage but alas, it doesn't.

Love that Oasis always provide free samples with your order.

Lovely Serum

I got this as I have very sensitive skin which is prone to getting very dry and I find a lot of serums great for rehydrating my skin without irritating it.

This serum didn't disappoint me. However, I'm not too keen on the scent of this as I am not a fan of chamomile but it has a slight touch of lavender too which I am a fan of.

I find this effectively hydrated my skin and I love that this sinks into my skin reasonably quickly leaving it feeling lovely and moisturised, soft and smooth.

This is probably not a product I would repurchase despite really enjoying using it as it is more expensive than other serums I have been really enjoying. I would still recommend this to others though as it is a lovely product and the formula is great for soothing inflamed sensitive skin.

AMAZING.

I was lucky enough to receive a sample of this from Oasis Beauty. I hadn't tried any of their serums but I do really like serums in general.

This - like the other two of their products I have tried, smells AWESOME. Honestly, their products make you want to eat them.

This is a highly concentrated serum so you really only need the smallest amount. I imagine that this bottle would last you aaaaaaaaaaaages as my sample lasted me a few weeks.

It's really easy to use, it blends in incredibly and made my skin feel supple and look and feel hydrated.

I am definitely going to purchase this when I buy from Oasis and I totally recommend it. It doesn't inflame sensitive skin and really nourishes it. 10/10 again Oasis Beauty.
