I read a lot of positive reviews about this cream and I had generally been happy with the Oasis products I had previously purchased so I had high hopes for this but sadly it didn't work wonders for me. I't a lovely cream and smells divine, thick but soaked into my skin so it didn't feel oily. Sadly it didn't improve my dry / eczema skin but it was definitely worth a try.

I actually won a tube of this from Oasis before I tried it myself, but that tube was destined for my brother and his family as their skincare needs were greater than mine at the time. I eventually got my hands on a sample to try (as we all know, Oasis samples are huge) and I'm kind of glad I didn't have the whole tube.
The tube is a practical, user-friendly design - probably more so than the sample pottle, but I'm not going to complain about the free, generous sample!
The product is white and has a herbal, powdery kind of scent which I don't find pleasant, and is one of the factors that puts me off using it.
It DOES work - I've tried it on abrasions, eczema, rough skin, kids hands...all sorts. But so do other things, and the scent and price of those other things suits me better.
I can see that this would be enough of a miracle product for some people that they could get past the scent...I'm not one of those people, unfortunately. Oasis make seriously amazing products, and I'm sure that this counts as one of them for many...it's just not my cup of tea :)
I was impressed with the long list of things that this cream claims to be able to soothe and treat, however after my first few uses I didn't really see that much of an improvement and in one case it got worse.
I'm a fan of those type of pot balms/salves for treatment of cracked skin, chapped lips and cuticle care but after falling for some other Oasis products and reading some glowing reviews I decided to give the Rhino Repair ago. It was quite an averagely sized tube for the price tag and honestly, I could purchase 3 tins of my regular balm for the price. After a week of using it I did see an improvement to my overall dryness on my feet, I suffer from eczema on my sole and it did help ease the itch and calm the inflammed area. However after a few weeks it stopped doing anything and in fact the dry flakes returned. I also tried it on my winter dry lips that had started to show signs of chapping around the cupid bow, it did ease the pain straight away and left them feeling slightly hydrated but it has made them even sorer the following day and I can not bear to put any more on me, perhaps I have an allergy to one of the ingredients that have my skin reacting this way but I think I will go back to what I know and trusts works.
Great moisturiser. I like to use it On my feet and dry areas but if you have are sensitive to fragrances I’d be careful with this product as fragrance can be a irritant on sensitive skin
Tips: Great for feet!
This helped quench my extremely dry hands and is great for any sort of skin irritation as well. The smell isn't my fav but worth it for the skin healing.
I bought this product to help with a few persistent dry patches on my elbows, and to keep as a bite remedy. (Mosquitoes love me)
This cream does what it says - it is amazing at soothing cracked skin/bites/sunburn, and it really replenishes dry areas like elbows and knees.
I expected this to be more of a balm/paw paw ointment consistency - it's actually a lotion. It soaks in quite quickly, but I felt you needed quite a lot to feel like you'd "done the job".
The only downfall for me is the smell - it's kind of like chamomile tea gone bad. The smell lingers, when I first used it I remember thinking through the day "What's that smell" then remembering it was me!
I've been using the product up on my feet (I hate wasting products!) and they are in the great condition - but I won't buy it again, as for the price tag I want something I love not just like!
Tips: Request a sample from the website and try before you buy!
I decided to try this product out because my son waa getting eczema under one of his arms and I had heard great things about this product.
I ordered a smaller tube, travel size (but bigger than a sample size) and this was enough. I found it easy to use and the texture was easily spreadable. It also had a nice gentle natural scent to it. I only used it for the purpose of trying to help my son's eczema. I felt like it did a pretty good job but was slightly disappointed with how long it took to clear the problem. We definitely noticed a difference though when we forgot to use it a couple of times.
For the size I feel like the price is a little steep for my personal budget and have found cheaper products that give me the same results so I wouldnt necessarily buy it again but definitely enjoyed using it.
ok so this is a very god moisturizer , i dont know if it helps with my eczema though . one thing i dont like is the smell its quite off putting at first but the smell doesnt linger and you get used to it . i really like how its quite thick and it doesnt make me greasy . to be honest even though i really liked the product im not sure if i will repurchased because of the price
I heard all this talk about Rhino Repair. So I had to get my hands on a bottle of it. It has claims to heal and repair skin. At the time this was being featured at my local Hardy's store with free samples. I popped in to get myself a sample along with a bottle of this cream.
Rhino repair comes in a tube bottle. Its easy to get out of the bottle. It has a creamy texture to it. You would only need a twenty cent piece to cover the face. I normally dot it on cheeks ,chin, forehead and nose. Has good coverage over the face. Is fairly priced.
Lasted me about four weeks because I used it three times a day as my skin is very dry. It did an alright job on my skin. I still had dryness on my nose and feet though.
My youngest had eczema all over his face and nappy rash. As he was only 6 months old I wanted to try something natural and I got this from my chemist as the list of things it claimed to help with was quite extensive. Instead I found out that we wasted $50 as it didn't even help one bit. I contacted oasis and they said to apply the cream every few hours but yeap that made no difference either.
On the plus side it smells good and I just use it on myself if my hands get really dry.
