I got this as a sample from the Oasis website after seeing that it helps dermatitis. It came in this cute little purple pot and there's about 3/4 teaspoon of that stuff in there. I have super sensitive skin that gets burnt really easily so I thought well if this works then I'll be saved! I'm half way through the little pot and I've found that it soothes my skin and makes it feel less agitated. Considering getting the full size but not liking that price. Hopefully there'll be a sale somewhere sometime.
After reading reviews on this I requested a sample. I have been getting a bit of dermatitis on my hands and I rubbed this in to them last night before bed. Well this morning - no dermatitis!!! Wow I am sold and will be buying a tube as soon as I can afford it. The product has a thick creamy texture, it rubs in and absorbs really well and did not leave a yucky sticky feeling which I was happy about. So far I have only tried it on my hands but if it made such a big improvement on them over night then I'm sure it will work on all dry areas. The only negative would be the smell. Not to my taste at all, it reminded me of old used play dough you get in the yellow tubs. But if it is going to work so well I may be able to get over that.
Tips: A little goes a long way
I recently got a sample of this from Oasis out of curiosity and have found a gem. I've used it on sunburn and itchy bites and experienced almost instant relief from both. My sunburn healed a lot faster than usual and I found Rhino Repair was so much more soothing and moisturising than aloe vera gel. It also smells fantastic!
The only down side being that it doesn't absorb into skin very well.
I use this regularly on myself, my children and funnily enough on my cat. It has a nice smell but perhaps a little too strong for the type of cream it is. Great for sry skin, ezcema and sores. But I love it for my cracked heels.
ok so this is a very god moisturizer , i dont know if it helps with my eczema though . one thing i dont like is the smell its quite off putting at first but the smell doesnt linger and you get used to it . i really like how its quite thick and it doesnt make me greasy . to be honest even though i really liked the product im not sure if i will repurchased because of the price
I heard all this talk about Rhino Repair. So I had to get my hands on a bottle of it. It has claims to heal and repair skin. At the time this was being featured at my local Hardy's store with free samples. I popped in to get myself a sample along with a bottle of this cream.
Rhino repair comes in a tube bottle. Its easy to get out of the bottle. It has a creamy texture to it. You would only need a twenty cent piece to cover the face. I normally dot it on cheeks ,chin, forehead and nose. Has good coverage over the face. Is fairly priced.
Lasted me about four weeks because I used it three times a day as my skin is very dry. It did an alright job on my skin. I still had dryness on my nose and feet though.
I was very impressed with the size of the Rhino Repair for the price - I actually expected it to be about half the size of what it was.
The cream is also a lot lighter than what I expected - it goes on beautifully and absorbs very well - I was expecting a much heavier formula, but it is very smooch feeling and a little goes a long way.
The aroma of the cream might not be for everyone - I know I quite liked it, but getting my hubby to use it was difficult as he felt it was a stronger scent than he likes.
I'd bought this specifically for a few very dry patches I have on my face. After using it for a few weeks I didn't see a great improvement in the areas I was targeting, however, I did notice great improvements in other areas I was using it on (like my heels and elbows). I don't know why it didn't work on the patches on my face, but I would definitely recommend this as a good heel/elbow cream.
I have tried a lot of different creams for eczema over the years and this one actually delivers. It takes the itch out of skin and softens dry skin.
Every winter I get crazy dry skin. People think it's winter there's lots of water around rain, frost etc.. but it's not like that the humidity is so low. I walk out a lot and the wind and dryness really takes a toll on my hands and lips especially.
I have struggled to find a good hand cream to help. I find one I've used a little too greasy, one was too much like using petroleum jelly, ones that just don't work.
I stumbled across this at health 2000 and brought a small tube. It's actually lasted a long time. I have to reapply multiple times a day - any cream but at least this one works.
The small tubes lasted me all winter and is still going strong. You don't need to use a lot either a tiny dot serves me well.
I apply and instantly my hands are feeling soft and moisturised. It's non greasy so I don't worry about getting things messy or dropping things. I wash my hands a lot having kids so think this also doesn't help my skin.. but applying this after has been preventing my hands from getting split, cracked and bleeding knuckles for the first winter ever.
It's been a skin saviour.
I highly recommend but wish it was more readily available as I don't always go to health 2000 or shop the oasis website. I'm definitely about the ease of getting products at convenience. But if your prepared at the start of winter you'll be right.
