Olive 100% Natural Skin Care Oil

I've been using this every day for the past week on my face and neck. It smells nice and is lovely to put on if not a little too oily for me. The pack says you need to use it for a minimum of 3 months to see any effects so I will carry on using and see if it does do what it says it will do ;-) I did, however use it on one hand and not the other so I could see if there was a change and there does appear to be a bit of evening out of the skin tone and it certainly makes your skin feel nice and soft. I think its a bit of a luxury product but if it does fade my scars I will be a convert. Check back in 3 months :-)

Entering my third trimester of pregnancy this product couldn't have come at a better time. I have been applying to all areas that stretch marks appeared from my first pregnancy as well as on my face at night to help with wrinkles. The first thing I noticed about this product was that it comes in a spray bottle which makes it super easy to apply. I also was pleasantly surprised about the fragrance, it has a nice subtle smell so can easily be worn alone or under a fragrance. The oil absorbed into my skin really well and helped to relieve the itchy feeling of my growing tummy. I have been using it at night in the place of my normal moisturiser and have found that it leaves my face feeling really soft in the morning and not at all oily. I will continue to use this product as I have been looking to buy a 100% natural oil for during and post pregnancy and would recommend it to anyone looking for a product to treat scaring, dry skin or to prevent stretch marks.

At first I was hesitant to use this as I have used many skin care oils that have not worked before, but this was one of the first ones to show results within the short time frame. I applied this twice a day on a scar I had on my leg and on stretch marks on my stomach, I did not notice much change on the scar (probably due to the short trial time - 7 days) but did notice slight change to my stretch marks - as the color started to lighten up. Another reason I was a little hesitant to use this oil is because usually oils have a unpleasant smell, but this Olive brand had an AMAZING smell, very pleasant and soothing. I also used the oil on my face where I had uneven skin tone, and did not notice any huge changes but did start to see a more even tone appear, I applied the oil with my hands (to my face) and found it great under my makeup - similar to a primer which really helped my make up last for the day! The feel of the oil was not too oily, it was a nice dense oil feel but felt light weight once on the skin, which is really nice compared to other oils I have used this. And the last thing I loved about this product is that it is all natural, no harmful ingredients !

I was really excited to try this skin care oil because its all natural and NZ made. I was a little worried that it would have a funny smell due to it being Olive but was actually pleasantly surprised! I suffer from dry elbows and thought that this product would be great for that and I was right! I only needed to use a little bit each time I applied and it definitely helped with the dry skin! I also expected it to be super oily but it was a nice consistency and seemed to evaporate quickly once applied from hands. I would be interested to see how it works on scars and stretch marks too so will be continuing to use this product.

I really liked using this Olive 100% skin care oil product. It gave me a great base to apply my make up and on the first day of using it, I was actually complimented on my skin. This has never happened to me before, and it was really great to hear someone say that to me, I am not sure if it was just coincidence that I received this compliment, but it certainly made my day. I have suffered horrendous acne problems my whole life and I am now 42, and still suffering and I have a lot of scars and marks on my face, so to hear someone say I have a nice complexion was really something special to me.

I used this product twice a day every day since I have received it to trial. I have used it on my face morning and night, and felt it really helped with applying my make up, by making application of foundation more smooth. It evened out my skin tone and gave me a nice glow to my face.

It is a great moisturiser without it being too oily, and it did not make my oily skin any more greasy, like some other oil products I have used in the past.

I have been monitoring my scars on my face, that I applied the Olive skin care oil to, and so far I have not noticed a huge amount of difference, However,it is early days, and I need to give it a fair trial, as it says for best results to use if for 3 months, which I will continue to do so.

I have used this Olive skin care oil on other parts of my body, on the tops of my arms and on my legs, and it gives the skin a great even tone and makes the skin feel and look more smooth.

I have however noticed a couple of spots come up on my face, but I am not sure if its hormonal or the Olive skin care oil. I shall persist and carry on using it and monitor how I get on.

I have very dry skin on my hands and I am always using hand cream throughout the day, but I have been using this Olive oil skin care on my hands lately and noticed that my skin is not as dry as it was and I don't need to use hand cream so often.

A little amount of this product does go along way, so it makes this product very good value. I only used one single pump of the oil for my face and found that was ample. I used a little more for my hands as they are so dry.

I am looking forward to seeing what results the product gives me in the next 2-3 months.

Loved the smell - not overly scented which is a huge turnoff for me. Also love love love the shampoo and conditioner for this olive range. Love how natural these products are so I know im not putting any nasties into my skin. I have dry skin and found that this is very nourishing and helps with dry flakey skin.

this product is great love that it has lots of natural ingredients makes my skin feel reali reali soft.. havnt seen much of a difference in stretch marks ect but its early days

I thoroughly enjoyed using this on my patches of dry skin. Although I don't have lots of affected areas, I thought it was worth a go as it was gifted to me and I know that there are a lot of benefits to using olive oil. I found it easy to rub in, and worked fast at hydrating dry areas. I did use on my stretch marks, but didn't see any improvement there, but that's not to say it wouldn't help others. The smell was subtle and not overpowering, yet pleasant. A little goes a long way so even though it is quite expensive to buy, it is value for money as you don't need much at all. Even though it is typically made up of oil, it doesn't leave much of an oily residue once it has been applied and massaged into the skin. Would recommend!!

I used this product on the basis that its a New Zealand product. It has a nice smell and texture. I think its possible that there are cheaper alternatives that would work just as well, but this one is contributing to our economy, so for that reason I choose to use it over overseas brands. The packaging is very basic and the product inside simple, meeting but not exceeding expectations. However by being basic it also has a more organic feel than many other products which I do like. As gar as an oil goes, it does what is says it will do and feels nice to put on. I have used this oil for massage where I found it to absorb at the same rate as other oils. As far as skincare goes, I haven't noticed any huge differences, but that said I haven't noticed any bigger differences with any other brands either. But whilst you are using it, your skin feels nice. My only issue would be needing to apply it more than once a day, I prefer products that I can just put on before I go to bed.

My son suffered from terrible teething rash, I tried all the usual recommended remedies and then I ended up putting this on him. Was an absolute miracle worker! Not only does it moisterise and soothe, but because it penatrates into the skin it provided an ultra thick layer of waterproof (dribble) protection.. Ended up also using it as a nappy rash barrier and again - it worked better than purpose bought and branded stuff.

As for putting it on my own skin, it made it feel super soft and smooth, especially in areas like elbows where extra hydration is needed.
